PROTESTANT PASTOR CHARGED WITH MOLESTING
14-YEAR-OLD FEMALE PARISHIONER
NEWPORT BEACH– A Protestant pastor of the Apostolic Christian Church in San Clemente was charged today for molesting a 14-year-old female parishioner that he met through his job. Ricardo Avalos Maffey, 42, Santa Ana, was charged with three felony counts of lewd acts upon a child between the ages of 14 and 15, and one felony count of contacting a minor with the intent to engage in child molest. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of five years and six months in prison. He is out of custody on $100,000 bail. Maffey is scheduled to be arraigned Dec. 5, 2008, at 8:30 a.m., Harbor Justice Center, Newport Beach. The Department will be determined later.
Maffey met Jane Doe through his role as a pastor. Between May 2008 and August 2008, the defendant is accused of violating his position of trust by engaging in illegal sexual contact with Jane Doe. On multiple occasions, he is accused of passionately kissing Jane Doe on the mouth. He is also accused of contacting her several times to meet and engage in kissing.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department investigated this case. Deputy District Attorney Tony Ferrentino of the Sexual Assault Unit is prosecuting this case.

troubles against one another. Men have reviled with such much jealously toward each other.
The only way the AA will survive is with the help of the Lord.
Prayer is extremely power. Satan does not want us to pray, because when we pray, "we have authority from God to rebuke, and "remove" anyone that is "fooling us" .
The members of the AA are sincere, and most Pastors are too. Other wise....these Pastors would have already "thrown in the towel". But no they hold on. And the more they find out the "source" of the illness...the more they will pray to have it removed.
To be extremely honest with all of you...and the Lord knows Iam saying the truth..and many of you know that Iam...when you read what Iam going to say.
There has been in the whole History of the AA a handfull of "evil people"...
With all races, cultural issues of "jealouy and envy and evil prevails."
This is why we need to know the "source" where is this 'FRAUD' on elections and "OBESSION OVER MONIES COME FROM"?
How will we survive?
A true Warrior when he needs to win a war, will first find out the "weakness" of the people.
What is the AA weakness right now?
1-Lack of prayer.

Brother Albert Lucero: I commend you for your concern regarding all that has happened and is happening in the organization. Unfortunately, the system has failed us because of the constitution being so weak. We the people are at fault as well because we have executed all rights to the leaders by allowing them to have all power over us by making all decisions regarding the church and by not defending our rights to govern our own churches. This is why the leaders do what they do because the constitution protects them and not us. You might say it has always been this way for years since the very beginning. If you think about it those men from the past were humble, fearful and servants of God. They were men of character! There is a saying that I once read which says;
"Ability may get you to the top but only character will keep you there."
That is so much truth to it. Though LMTYWN has been ridiculed many times he or she makes a lot of sense especially when the pastors,elders and bishops are challenged to stand and speak up. Sad to say they are like children who have been physically abused and who are also threatened by the abuser if they speak up. Are we going to wait for more spiritual children to die from the hurt,anger, discouragement and bitterness that can destroy their lives? Just look around and see what they have done to many especially Pastor Torres, Baldemar Rodriguez, David Zuniga and many many more for speaking up. 2nd: how many years have you been in this horrible organization? How many years was Baldemar President? He was the Apostolic Pope for years and he never pushed have local churches incorporated?
Since Abel Torres was a Bishop, do you know if he ever removed pastors when the congregation still wanted them there? What about preventing potential pastors from starting churches?
What do you know About ART. TAfoya: As Bishop he sure ran Pastors out of the Organization. One of those Pastors was his own brother. He said many mean things about his Brother Nat to GAC.
Daniel Solomon: He has lost some good men from his church and prevented them from starting churches. Frank Gallegos was his assistant pastor and now pastors an independent apostolic church in Denver. Imagine if local churches would of been incorporated, Frank could still be in the AA. Andrew Ochoa is now UPC because of Solomon. The Ochoa's are pioneers of the Colorado and New Mexico Districts. Under Daniel Solomons leadership, how many churches did he establish in Denver?
In my opinion, the AA and AWA leaders are evil men. The only reason Torres wants to Incorporate local churches is because he and his congregation are out of a home.

According to insiders at AA- South Texas District, Bishop David Tovar has not resigned nor will he but he realizes that the "kgb" is after him. Praise the Lord Saints....Thank God for another beautiful morning. Our pastor this past weekend told the congregation that we have left the AA and have joined the AWA. We are here in Bakersfield, CA @ Grace Christian Fellowship. We as a whole stand behind our Pastors decision because it was not something thought of overnight he has been talking to the ministerial staff and to the saints and we have been in prayer that God direct us in the right path and make the right decision. I can say that by the way the saints were talking after the announcement it was all well and we are glad to be moving forward. Personally I grew up in the AA and have lots of good memories the friendships, my mentor, my past pastors, my brother and sisters, camps, conventions and so forth. I can say that I have had my issues with some of the things done in the AA. But this new chapter has opened up and I am grateful...I can also confirm what QueSi wrote that Pastor Salomon was in Palo Alto. God Bless You and Keep You.

The word is in Arizona that mr. Tafoya is on his way out of the AWA. Someone close to his family told me he is upset because several board members want him out.
She also told me he cut a deal with Sanchez in return for some information he gave the GB of the AA about the AWA.

You are sooo full of Pony Poop...even if its all true, it makes no difference to anyone in the AWA if one of its "fellowshipping Ministers" decides not to fellowship with the AWA. There is nothing wrong with this...this is the whole point to being in the AWA...you are autonomous!! You are incorporated!!! If he no longer wishes to be part of the board, no big deal...There are at least 300 other ministers that can be voted in to the position...Besides, there is NO financial gain...but, there is one if he returns to the AA...Perhaps thats what he is doing??? I'm an old time Apostolic dating back to the 60's. I have some questions I'd like to ask to see if anyone has an answer. Back in the 60's and 70's Television and Movie theaters considered a very bad sin. I remember that some people were put on "preva" (I think I spelled it correctly). Anyway, today everyone has TV's and many Apostolics even have home entertainment systems with blue ray DVD plays and watch movies from home. My questions is what is wrong with going to the movie theater (other that it being expensive)?
