PROTESTANT PASTOR CHARGED WITH MOLESTING
14-YEAR-OLD FEMALE PARISHIONER
NEWPORT BEACH– A Protestant pastor of the Apostolic Christian Church in San Clemente was charged today for molesting a 14-year-old female parishioner that he met through his job. Ricardo Avalos Maffey, 42, Santa Ana, was charged with three felony counts of lewd acts upon a child between the ages of 14 and 15, and one felony count of contacting a minor with the intent to engage in child molest. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of five years and six months in prison. He is out of custody on $100,000 bail. Maffey is scheduled to be arraigned Dec. 5, 2008, at 8:30 a.m., Harbor Justice Center, Newport Beach. The Department will be determined later.
Maffey met Jane Doe through his role as a pastor. Between May 2008 and August 2008, the defendant is accused of violating his position of trust by engaging in illegal sexual contact with Jane Doe. On multiple occasions, he is accused of passionately kissing Jane Doe on the mouth. He is also accused of contacting her several times to meet and engage in kissing.

You did not read my blog completely. Yes, Acts 2:38 is truth, but there are 26 other chapters to that book.
You cannot read scripture in isolation. It must be reconciled with all of scripture. When we read scripture in isolation that is when the most serious theological errors will occur.
Chances are someone told you that Acts 2:38 is truth. Can you make an argument for yourself?
Acts 2:38 is a superb verse but it is only a response to what Christ has done.
The cross is foundational to historic biblical Christianity. This must be the starting point for all truth.

Reading your very disturbed comment tonight. I went back many many many years to the life and times of sister Rosie Hernandez.
Sister Rosie was not raised Apostolic, she and brother David apparently met while the Hernandez lived in East Los Angeles.
Brother David was an extremely hard core, gang member. I never knew although I questioned it many times. Why was brother David and his brother Danny so bitter and so rebellious, and always had the "spirit of "scorn and redicual"..
They were two brothers with about five sisters...
Their parents "appeared" to be very nice and kind. Their mother died premanturely. Their father remarried and much younger woman.
Yet, Iam sure the Lord had the hand on sister Rosie because brother David got "converted" and went on to attend Stockton Apostolic Bible College, as it was called then...
There he met brother Joe Mendoza, and they really "hit it off fine".
"Two peas in a pod."
Many young men and Iam sure women came to the Lord through the ministry of the "Life Center".
It was too bad that Brother David was nor more conciencious and "instead of the fancy house he had up on the hill in Whittier and the fancy "Rolls royce" he drove and the mercedes, that he did not provide for Sister Rosie a good "life insurance" to have provided for her better.
Nor that he (Brother David) did not have the church property in his name, as others of the General Board have and others that are in the letters of the Apostolic Assembly, blogs.
But sister Mary do not fret....
Sister Rosie will get her rewards in Heaven., not here on earth.
You continue to serve God and seek first the Kingdom of God and all His rigthesness and everything else shall be added unto you.
The same will be done to those that did wrong to the Hernandez, may God rest their souls.
The Hernandez left a large family, but especially two very sweet and kind and lovely daughters that are married to the Barbosa brothers.

Elias: Now regarding Maffey's picture being posted on the blog, I agree with you. Everytime I open the blog and see his picture there I ask " when are they going to take it off?" I have friends and family who have also fallen but have repented and I personally wouldn't like for their picture to be made public as if they were some kind of fugitive. I feel everyone is entitled to a second chance if they repent from their wrongdoing and get the help they need. I am a true supporter of restoration.
Elias: Maybe not all of the GB are as guilty as Sanchez, Valverde and Pacheco but the others knew and know what happened in the convention in 2006 "Woe to them that know to do good and don't do it." Have you read the letters that Pastor Abel Torres wrote to the president regarding the "Fraud of 2006?" Allow me to suggest that you copy them and read them in your spare time so you can get some insights of what really happened in that election of 2006 and why the president came after Torres then Pastor Baldemar Rodriguez and the rest. If Sanchez, thought this was an injustice these men (Torres, Rodriguez, Zuniga,Solomon,Tafoya and Avila) had done against him and the board. Why didn't he leave it in God's hands as the bible teaches us to do instead of coming against them. Like my grandma used to say "el que nada debe nada teme." Torres was elected as bishop of his district by the pastors and Sanchez permitted it because he couldn't go against the voice of the pastors. Hmmmm....that sounds familiar!
Oh well, guess who comes back and says to him "retract or else." This sounds to me as I previously posted on the blog "an eye for an eye." But wait there is more! When Sanchez comes back with his yes mans and removes him from his post as bishop from the churches he and his father and congregation built all because Torres didn't want to play his game he says to him "YOUR FIRED!!"
PLEEEEASE!! You would have to be blind not to see the writing on the wall! All you have to do is read those documents and you will see for yourself the effort Torres put into this to make it right. Believe it or not Sanchez, Valverde and Pacheco and the board also sued him too!

Elias, quisas todos los miembros de la mesa directiva de la AA no sean tan culpables como lo son Sanchez, Valverde y Pacheco cuando cometieron el fraude. Aun asi por saber lo que se hizo y no hacer nada son culpables tambien "hay de aquel que sabe ser el bien y no lo hace." Permitame hacerle una pregunta, a leido las cartas que el Pastor Abel Torres le envio al presidente sobre el fraude de 2006? Quisas seria una buena idea que consiguiera esas cartas del apostolicassembly.info que fueron escritas por Torres para que se entere un poco mas de el intento que hizo el(Torres) para evitar que llegase la AA a la situacion que nos encuentramos hoy en dia. Es alli donde recibira informacion de la injusticia que se hizo encontra de el Pastor Torres por no haberse retractado de lo que fue testigo que fue el fraude de 2006. Sanchez queria que el(Torres) mentiera y si no entonces habria consequencias. Y fue asi al ser elegido por el pastorado de su distrito para Obispo. Al momento el presidente no pudo hacer nada porque los pastores lo habian elegido pero a los cuantos meses regreso y le quito el puesto del Obispado. Vemos que la misma historia del fraude de 2006 velve a repetirse. Aun asi Torres seguia buscando la paz con el presidente para que esto llegase a una solucion. Pasaron los meses y Sanchez con el mismo capricho que se rectratara. Al ver que el Pastor Torres seguia firme con su palabra entonces lo despidio del pastorado de la iglesia donde su padre, congregacion y el con mucho sacrificio edificaron. Esto no se detuvo alli porque Sanchez, Valverde y Pacheco no habian terminado y la historia una vez mas volvio a repetirse al hechar fuera de la organizacion al Honorable Obispo ex- Presidente Baldemar Rodriquez y a los demas. Ahora, digame usted si la mesa directiva a obrado justamente con todo el temor de Dios? Actuarian de esta manera usando el systema "ojo por ojo?" Porque no dejar todo en las manos de Dios como usted dice como dicen las escrituras? Claro, porque no les convenia, mi abuela tenia un dicho "el que nada debe nada teme" Todo esto comenzo porque el Pastor Torres no quiso retractarse como testigo del fraude que se cometio en la convencion electoral en California 2006 que fue ingnorar el voto de los pastores al poner amigos y familiares en la mesa directiva.
Por favor digame usted quen es el que ignoro el mandamiento de Dios. Necitaria ser un ciego para no ver el escrito en la pader. Paz de Cristo,
Estimado Pueblo De Dios,
El propósito de esta carta es con el fin de comunicarles a todos que los que hemos sido despedidos en una manera tan injustamente por la Mesa Directiva de la Asamblea Apostólica, estamos trabajando entusiastamente por el Señor. No estamos solamente sobreviviendo, somos más que vencedores. El Señor nos ha estado bendiciendo en gran manera. Aun nos estamos extendiendo al campo misionero; a Brazil, Colombia, Chile y otras partes. Estaremos tratando de comunicarles los logros que el Señor nos esté concediendo en el futuro.
Se escuchan rumores por algunos de que la Mesa Directiva intentará buscar una reconciliación con algunos de nosotros. Es muy difÃcil creer esto de personas que han obrado en una manera tan irracional, cruel y con tan poco temor de Dios. Las acciones del Presidente Sánchez y la Mesa Directiva han causado un daño devastador a la organización y también han herido a muchas personas. El Presidente ha admitido en privado que ha cometido errores, pero en público lo niega. El tendrá que dar cuenta delante de Dios un dÃa por todo el daño que ha causado a tanta gente. Los miembros de la Mesa Directiva que lo apoyaron en los grandes atropellos cometidos al cuerpo de Cristo también tendrán que dar cuenta delante de Dios un dÃa.
El Presidente dice que nos despidió por causa de la demanda. Lo que no dice es que ellos también han demandado a otros. Aun en contra de nosotros lanzaron una demanda.
Quiero aprovechar esta oportunidad para asegurar a todos los que se están enlistando en la AWA (Alianza Mundial Apostólica) que no pensamos abandonarlos en ninguna manera. Todo esto ya ha avanzado mucho. SerÃa inconcebible que nosotros pensásemos en regresar a un sistema tan lejos de la voluntad de Dios.
Acabamos de celebrar una gloriosa actividad en Rialto, California. Nuestra actividad estuvo muy concurrida y sobre todo fue una actividad muy espiritual. Las reuniones de Pastores y Ministros fueron todo un éxito. Los sorprendimos con el gran número de personas que asistieron. No cabe duda que la mano de Dios está con nosotros. No pensamos olvidar nuestro pasado. Nuestro pasado es muy valioso para nosotros porque en ese pasado fue donde se formó nuestro carácter. En ese pasado se formó el carácter que nos ayudó para permanecer firmes en los principios importantes de la vida. Nuestro carácter no nos permitió cerrar los ojos ante las injusticias que se cometieron y actuar como si nunca hubiesen ocurrido. Pero, no pensamos vivir en el pasado. Pensamos mirar hacia el futuro y seguir trabajando en la obra de Dios. Dice (IsaÃas 43:18, 19) “No os acordéis de las cosas pasadas, ni traigáis a memoria las cosas antiguas. 19 He aquà que yo hago cosa nueva; pronto saldrá a luz; ¿no la conoceréis? Otra vez abriré camino en el desierto, y rÃos en la soledad.”
Solo les pedimos a todos que oren por nosotros. Sabemos que muchos están esperando la decisión de la apelación. Muchos nos han dicho que se unirán a la AWA si no nos favorece la apelación. Si nos favorece la decisión de la apelación, muchos dicen que deben ser restituidos a la AA. Eso ya seria casi imposible, pero lo que quizás si serÃa posible es recuperar las propiedades o recibir una compensación justa por las propiedades. La única manera que pudiésemos regresar es que se cambie totalmente el sistema de la AA. When these men had their positions as Bishops they ran out Pastors. Or do you think that Torres, Tafoya and Baldemar are clean? Reading you writing on "your research" on the oneness. ON APOSTOLIC LETTERS..
I cannot help but to respond to you.
First I want to say that Iam very very sorry that you were treated so cruely, by not being allowed to have your wedding ceremony in the church where you were raised.
But brother do not "personalize" this. For it has been done to many with no remorse from the "honorables"...
But do not fret, they have paid big time by having their own, like Sanchez's family leave the Assembly, and also Pacheco, and Prado, and Valverde..
But Iam very sad that we lost a good man and woman like you and your wife, seem to be.
This has happened alot. We have lost the "best" of our generations, to other denominations, and the best of "leadership."
Valverde made sure that all the"best of our young ministers, that were highly educated in theology, were "black balled" by him...and "they unfortunately "left". But he is sure paying now.
Apparently Valverde suffers from disorientation and "dementia" because when asked if he remembers certain young ministers from his generation, he is so jealous of their ministry, he tells Sanchez he does not remember them!
He must be "getting" very absent minded and "old". He sure looks it!

Going back to your research on the "oneness".
Let me give you a bit of historical perspective of the Assemblies of God and the Apostolic Assembly.
Both merged out of the Azusa street Revival almost 100 years ago, being with the founder Brother Seymour.
There is alot of anomosity between the AG and the AA, because its founders, Brother Ball, AG; and AA, Llorente, Navarro, Orizaba, Martinez, Nava, and Marcial de la Cruz came out of The Apostolic Gospel Temple on Azusa Street here in Los Angeles.
There is a plaque, on first street by Japanese Town., "Little Toyko", where the Apostolic Gospel Church was.
The other Main stream churches, that baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, are not so adamant on the "oneness" as the AG toward the AA and UPC.
The AG teach and believe that there are Three thrones in Heaven,
1-Father. 2-Son and 3- Holy Spirit.
There are so many "strong" verses, that do state, on Father, son and Holy Spirit.
But also there is one...

When I was in college, on my way to and from classes, I would always pass by different individuals holding up signs saying the world is ending, Bush is the anti-christ etc. I would also pass by individuals that where belligerent to those passing to and from class. They would cuss at students, administrators and others to try to them to engage them in their idiocy.
I could spot them a mile a way. As I would spot them a scripture always came to my mind.
Proverbs 22:3 A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

My suggestion is that you don't engage them. Apostolico_4 Life - Sis Rosie was never kicked out of FLC. She, along with the rest of the Hernandez family chose to leave. FLC offered to have the services at the church, but the family did not accept the offer. Also, if you were at the service, you would have known full well that FLC would not have been able to hold that amount of people. FLC did however pay for the entire funeral expenses. This was done out of the kindness of the pastor's heart.
Family Life Center Should not be ashamed of themselves. They serve God! Not Man! If God wills for someone to be the pastor, then so be it. It's his church, not one man, or not one organization. God is in control. Not man. If you think man is in control, then you dont know the God that we serve....
If Isaac Hernandez stayed as Pastor at FLC, the church would have went bankrupt... All that debt that the church had was because of him abusing the money.
As for Mary, you do not speak for the entire Ladies Group. You speak for your selfish self. What do you mean that the anointing is not there. God says that where there is two or three gathered, he is there. God is very much at Family Life Center, if you dont feel it, that because you are carnal and not sensitive to the spirit. You're allowing your feelings to dictate you. That's sad because God could be trying to speak to you, and because of your feelings, you are preventing him from speaking to you. I have never had the pleasure of meeting Torres, but I can tell you he was the smartest man the AA had. What a loss for them!

Greetings, everyone! LMTWN don't worry I'm still around. Unfortunately my schedule is extremely busy and finding time to blog hasn't been easy. I do however keep up with "the blog". I'm very excited to hear of all the progress within the AWA and really pleased to hear lots of people talking about attending the up and coming activities. I also hear that many of the mission churches are joining up with the AWA. Looks like AWA is off to a fantastic start. Again God bless the brave brothers who stood up for a better church.

When Isaac was pastor the GB came and preached each month. As a matter of fact there were two sometimes per month. After Art Diaz took over, not one GB came and preached. So get your story straight. The GB did preach there while Isaac was Pastor. And they dont need to come and preach there or come and keep an eye. The Pastor there is a good pastor. Art Diaz is a righteous man who loves the Lord.

My brother, I'm sorry if I've offended you. You see I just recently found out about this blog, I had only heard alittle about what was going on. I don't know how to react to all this. On one hand I'm a young Pastor who has thought about leaving the AA.
On the other hand I think of my heritage five generations of Apostolic Assemblies. Do I believe the AA has "THE TRUTH" NO. But I do believe it has some truth. Most of all I think of the people. I can't tell who I am, but I can assure you you knew my Father, Grandfather, you've mentioned their names.

Danniel Solomon - Some good men have left his church (Frank Gallegos, Andrew Ochoa, Leo Castillo (He and Bro. Solomon had problems when he was Sector President), Josh Nuenez his keyboard player and a few other brothers.
Art Tafoya - Lets start with the six pastors he ran out of the AA from Phoenix. What about his dealings with his Brother Nat. Art should explain everything that happen there. The two districts Art. was apart of, the people view him as money hungry. He always comes up with ways to justify why he should take large chunks of money from churches. If you have questions about this, just talk to one of the former Bishops from New Mexico (Bro. Chavaria).
Baldemar - How long was he President without ever changing the system? He knows the AA infrastructure is flawed. How many pastors were removed under his leadership? That is why when I saw Baldemar crying on Skotties Video, I say how pathetic because he is guilty of his sins. I do not know Baldemar, but it appears to many in my social circles is that he spoke out because he was friends with Solomon. We do not think he did this because of Godly conviction. If he had Godly conviction, he would of done his best to change the structure of the AA.
So my friend, they all deserve to be bad mouthed not just one side. Since Art. the Blogmaster has allowed the disrespect to go on lets just disrespect all of them. They all have dirt and hopefully the younger genration will read this and become discourage and abandon the AA and AWA.

(HE WRITES):
IT WAS a real hot summer and we had nothing to do, when a thought came to me. I said to the other five boys that were with me, "Let's start a gang."
They agreed, and from that day on my life was a life of crime, jails and institutions.
I had become the leader of an East Los Angeles gang located in the Maravilla district.
I used to go to church with my parents until I was about eleven or twelve years old, then different desires started to grow in me.
I started smoking, then I began drinking beer and sniffing gas. After a while this just would not satisfy the desire that was in me.
At the age of twelve I started smoking marijuana. I remember as if it were yesterday.
I was standing on an East Los Angeles street corner, and one of the older boys that lived around there offered me a cigarette of some stuff.
I wanted to be big so I went home and took some money from my father"s pocket and went back and bought this marijuana.
We went back to school and the gang was already "organized" and we were ready to fight. We had fights in school just about everyday. The gang was always in battle with other gangs. Although we were a small gang, we would go all the way.
After a while the other gang leaders wanted to get me badly; it got so bad that I had to start carrying my gun where ever I went.
The police found out about this, so I started walking the streets with body guards. Every place I would go I would have to have them with me, armed with guns and any other weapon they could use in battle.
When we had "nothing to do "we would go to the cliffs and fight among ourselves to keep in shape. We would also get in a circle and make a marijuana cigarette as big as a baseball bat and pass it around to see who would be chicken and leave the circle.
We would get so high we wouldn't even know our own names. Then we would get in our cars and go cruising through enemy territory, and if we didn't find anybody to fight with we would shoot the neighborhood stores and everything we could to get them mad at us.
This continued for some years.
I was expelled from school and sent to a boys" school. There the detectives picked me up for robbery, and I went to jail.
When I was released and off probation I joined the armed forces, where I served with an honorable discharge.
The service changed me a little, but not much.
When I got out the gang had broken up; some of the boys were in prison, some had been killed and some were scattered around.
We got together again in about three months. I started where I had left off. Pills were introduced to me..red devils, yellow jackets and others.
This time I went all the way. I used to stay under the influence for many days. I remember one night we were at the usual Saturday night hangout.
We were at the top of a cliff, drinking and such, when one of the boys began shooting a .22 pistol.
He fired about five shots and one struck one of the boys that was at the bottom of the hill. I ran down to see what had happened.
The boy had a hole in back and another in front of his body.
We quickly put him in the car and drove to the nearest emergency hospital.
We left him at the emergency room, and left before the police arrived. About one hour later we were apprehended and taken into custody.
We were booked for assault with intent to commit murder. We waited anxiously until they finally told us that he was going to live. Later I found out that my mom and dad would wake up at different hours of the night and morning to pray for "their lost son" who was out roaming the streets somewhere.
Now I can see why that boy did not die. Sometimes when we pray it seems as if God does not hear us.
But my friend, I want to tell you that you may not be able to see immediate results, but later on you can clearly see the works of God, and how God was answering your prayers all the time.
By this time I was deep in sin. My Mom would sometimes try to talk to me about salvation and about my condition. I would tell her to be quiet and to leave me alone.
It got so that she was afraid to talk to me so she used to write to me. Even then I would tear up the letters. Heroin was introduced to me, and the next three months WERE LIKE HELL TO ME.
We would go into the liquor stores armed with a gun to rob the store owners. We would make the owners to lie down on the floor until we were out of sight.
One morning at about four O'clock, the police came knocking at my door. My sister, who was a Christian, answered. Then she came into my room and told me it was the police and that she had to tell them I was home because she could not lie. They came in , handcuffed me and took me off to jail.
I met the one who was to become my wife, and we were married. My life changed a little for a month or so. Then I was back to the same things.,to the same ways, only worse. My wife Rosie, started going to church with my parents. She saw the difference in the church and the people were nice to her. She liked and enjoyed church.
She was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, and three years later she received the Holy Ghost.
With the evidence of speaking in Spiritual Tongues.
Little did she know that I was going to give her so much trouble! Living with me was almost like living with the devil himself.
Once, as she was coming from a service, she came in the house and immediately I went for her neck. I chocked her until she fell on the floor with her eyes shut. I thought for sure I had killed her. I began to slap her to get her to come to.
And thanks to our Lord and Savior she lived!
That was nothing compared to the things that I did in the years following.
If I were to tell them, it would take hours. I was possessed by demons. Satan does not respect anyone. He is out to get you, one way or another. Satan is a liar.
The Lord rebuke him.
All he wants is to get you to sin' and once he has you where he wants you ,he will destroy you and finally take you with him to the bottomless pit and hell. That is all he has to offer.
I thought my family had lost all hope for me, but I found out later they were all still praying hope that the Lord would help me to change my sinful ways and for the Lord to save me and change my life.
My sister told me that all they were fearing was a knock on the door and someone or that someone had killed me.
Two weeks before my conversion we were drinking in front of my house. Some of the boys left and went down the block.
A few hours later some boys came over and picked a fight. My friend hit one of them in the face. The driver then jumped out of the car with a rifle and fired one time, hitting my friend in the chest.
My friend yelled and tried to run, but the pain was too much. He fell, and the boy with the rifle ran around the car and emptied the rifle on him.
My friend lay there trying to talk, but he was dying. The ambulance came, but it was too late. My friend was dead--dead at the age of nineteen with three holds in his body.
Oh! if only I would have told him about Christ, how he saves and how Christ died for us at Calvary. If only!!!! my friend would have been saved!
Maybe this message would help young kids already hooked onto heroin, who steal, kill and lie to support their habit.
Perhaps I would have been able to help young girls that would get "drunk" and then start crying for "no reason at all.
I would ask them the reason for crying, and they would say. "I don't know why I cry." I just feel like crying."
Now, I know that it is their very soul calling out "for help and mercy."
These girls would cry until they felt some kind of relief and then go and drink some more, trying to drown themselves in liquor and narcotics.
Someone somewhere had failed miserably with these girls; they were crying themselves and many thousands are still doing this, driving themselves into eternal hell.
There are so many young people in the World today that are neglected, that no one tells them about Salvation and the Name of Jesus., that they are so desperately in need of "The Spiritual Aspect of their lives to be "fulfilled with the tender mercies from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Coming now to the conclusion to this testimony.
I pray to the Lord this testimony "will reach some one some where!
I pray someone's heart will be "touched" and turn them from their wicked way and let Jesus Christ come into your life and heart.
You may be saying, "God has all power, but I can"t change."
Well I used to say the same thing' but one day, right after a church convention in Tulare, my wife came home. She could not stand my condition any more--for I was demon-possessed if nothing else.
She had talked to a good friend of my father, whom she had seen at the Tulare convention. This brother was a Pastor , and was coming to Los Angeles to visit the church of El Siloe. My wife invited him to come and talk to me. This Brother later became Pastor of El Siloe, coming to live in Los Angeles, from up North.
She had called others before, but I had always left, when she told me they were coming..
This time she forgot to tell me who was coming., and when I saw the Brother coming to the front door. It was too late to leave.
So I went and locked myself in the bathroom, since I was still high on narcotics. I had been out with the boys earlier and had taken some pills. The Brother walked in and went straight to the restroom where I was. He said he wanted to see me. So I came out, and he talked to me for about half an hour. Then he asked me to pray with him. I didn't, for I was looking out of the windows to be sure that none of my friends came anc caught me with a minister in my house.
The Brother left and I sat down on the couch still under the influence of narcotics.
Suddenly I started feeling something very strange in my body.
From the bottom of the my feet I started to feel as though many ants were all over me.
It was impossible to stay still.
Getting up, I tried to eat, but I couldn"t.
Trying to sit down on the couch, that failed too,
I lit a cigarette and started to smoke to calm my nerves.
Then I noticed that I wasn"t breathing right. All of a sudden it hit me:
And I said to myself "YOU ARE DYING AND YOU ARE GOING TO HELL!
Getting up as fast as I could and running past my wife, who was sitting at the table, I yelled at her.
"COME ON LET'S PRAY!"
She looked at me as though I was insane--I hadn"t gone to church in years.
Getting to my room, as soon as I did, I was on my knees and cried out;
and my hands went up all by themselves,
and I just said, "LORD HAVE MERCY ON MY SOUL!"
Immediately I started speaking in tongues. I couldn't believe it--I was receiving the Holy Spirit!
I stayed there just talking to God, praising Him. I felt a deep peace in me, a wonderful peace.
THINKING to my self--This is what I had been looking for so many years....Peace and more Peace.
God had finally answered everyone's prayers!
My friend , who may be reading this, "I say to you, God is so good, so wonderful"
You will always find Him when you need Him the most. Just give your life to Him.
My friends that were killed never had a chance. But perhaps, through me and others who have "gone through hell on Earth".
we can bring them to God's Kingdom!
If you are running away from God, and have gone through these experiences.
You must be told that:
The World and the "lost sinner" that is trying to "find peace" in narcotics, will find hopefully by reading my Testimony, that God still saves and changes lives.. No matter who they are or what they have done!
In closing, I would like to say that my Mother's prayers were that the Lord would not take her until she would see her "prodigal son" serving the Lord with all his heart and soul. When my Mother found herself in her deathbed, she would ask the Lord the same thing. "Please do not take me until I see my son baptized in Jesus Name and serving you with all his heart and soul."
That night when I received the Holy Ghost we of course went to tell my family. They could hardly believe it, but there was great rejoicing. My Mom then remembered what she had asked the Lord and wanted!
Three months later my Mom was in the hospital with leukemia, and she went on to be with her Lord a year later.
God always answers prayer, although sometimes, because of our unbelief, and lack of faith, it takes longer. But God does answer. I know he answered my Mom's prayers and I am sure also my wife's, and all my other family.
My prayer is that this testimony will bring "Someone" to the Lord, today!

Esteemed Brethren,
By means of this letter, I come before you to communicate to all how all of us are doing since we were unjustly dismissed from the Apostolic Assembly by the General Board. I would like to inform you that we are doing well, and we have the Lord to thank for that. At the present time, we continue to work enthusiastically with and for the Lord of the harvest. We are far from just surviving. We are more than conquerors. We are certainly not cowering in a corner feeling sorry for ourselves. The Lord has been blessing us greatly! We are even extending our vision to the missionary field. We have been contacted by brethren from Brazil, Columbia, Chile, and other countries. We will make an effort to continue to inform you in the future of all our activities and accomplishments. Pastors and members are contacting us. We want to make this clear to everyone. We are not proselytizing.
We have heard rumors that the General Board has the intentions of extending and olive branch to some of us. Such an overture from people who have acted in a manner which is irrational, cruel, so lacking of the fear of God is extremely hard to believe. The actions by President Sanchez and the General Board have caused devastating damage to the organization and many people have been hurt as a result of those ungodly actions. I would inform you that the President has admitted in private that he made several mistakes during the elections, but he denies it in public. That might be called “the best of times and the worst of times” of a President. Undoubtedly, the President and the General Board will someday have to answer to the Lord for all the damage and hurt they have inflicted upon so many people.
The President and the General Board have mercilessly seized church properties for which our Fathers, ourselves, and many brethren who labor with us have worked so hard and sacrificed so much. A generation of leaders has risen who in no manner understand how to appreciate the labor of those who have sacrificed so much for love of the work of the Lord. They are taking over control of vineyards that they never planted, cities that they never built, and wells that they didn’t dig. I am sounding the alarm today! Beware my brethren! If you have plans to remodel or to purchase a church property, keep in mind that the General Board will own everything at the end. I would say that there is no future for anyone in that. The heirs of all AA property are the Board Members, their family, and close friends. The President has stated that sons of Pastors cannot inherit the churches, but it does seem that the sons of board members can. It seems that most recently, in the last few years, the General Board continues to maintain double standards in everything they do.
The Board Members who have supported and continue to support the atrocities committed against the body of Christ will someday have to answer to God as well, just like the President. As I told the President when he dismissed me from office in Midland, “You can tell everyone you want your own story regarding what occurred at the elections, but I know better. I was there counting the votes, and I know exactly what transpired.” When I made an unexpected appearance at the “Estrategia de Jesus” conference in Long Beach last year, I spoke to brother Eduardo Pacheco. When we discussed the wrongdoing at the convention, he remarked, “Everybody makes mistakes at times” I responded, “I understand, but sixe mistakes on the same day by the President, our national leader?” The fact of the matter is that there were many more than the 6 mistakes committed when brother Joel Montes was approved as candidate six times by the Qualifying Board. Six to eight brothers were disqualified each time making it a total of about 50 brothers who were disqualified. Brother Felipe Lugo was among the brothers who were disqualified.
The President declared to everyone that we were unceremoniously dismissed because of the lawsuit. What he doesn’t explain is that the General Board has filed lawsuits against others. I wonder if Bishop Philip Salazar is aware of that. They even sued us here in Midland. The President has said in our absence at conventions that he has made every effort to talk with us. My dear brethren, it is the other way around. Even when I appeared at the conference in Long Beach, he received me very coldly. It was obvious that he did not want me there. I heard from several Bishops who were there, that brother Sam Valverde was voicing his unhappiness because I had been allowed to remain there during the conference. Brother Pacheco was speaking when I entered and I thought I was imagining that he began to stumble over his words, but later I found out that he said that he became extremely nervous when he saw me and for a few moments he thought about bringing his talk to a close. I wonder why he felt that way. I felt perfectly fine in the hostile environment I was in.
I would also like to take advantage of this opportunity to assure all the brethren who are joining the AWA (Apostolic World Vision) that under no circumstances will we entertain the idea of abandoning them. We are at the point of no return. It would be inconceivable to think about returning to a system which is vastly deviated from the will of God. We are Apostolics and we plan to continue preaching and practicing the biblical Apostolic message, not concepts and traditions of man. The AWA is being criticized for lowering its standards, but I would say that the AA has preached much more than they actually have practiced for years. I know people who congregate with Vice-President Sam Valverde, Pastor Phil Saenz, and others. Those people who congregate in those churches tell me that rings and other jewelry have been worn there for a while. Many churches in the AA do not practice women’s head-covering either. I was told recently that the Pastor’s wife of a church in Brownfield, Texas is laying hands on the heads of the members. This and more has been going on with the AA. Let’s not be quick to criticize others.
We recently celebrated a glorious activity in Rialto, California. Our activity was well attended, and most importantly, it was a very spiritual activity. Our ministerial meetings were a great success. Most of us were surprised at the great number of people who attended. The attendance was high and above our expectations. There is no doubt whatsoever that the hand of the Lord is upon what we are doing. We do not plan to forget our past. Our past is very valuable to us because it was in that past that our character was formed. It is the same character that helped us stand firm regarding the important principles in life. This same character helped us withstand the onslaught of the General Board. Our character would not allow us to close our eyes to the injustices that were committed and would not permit us to act as if everything was just fine. But, we want to make it clear that we will not live in the past. Our vision and desire is to look towards the future and continue working for the Lord. It says in (Isaiah 43:18, 19) “18Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
All we request from everyone is that you keep us in your prayers. We know that many are awaiting the results of the appeal. Many have told us that they will leave the AA and join the AWA if the ruling on the appeal is not reversed. Others would have us return to the AA if we win the appeal. Our return is almost impossible, unless drastic changes occur in the AA. What we do know is that if we win the appeal, we will have an opportunity to recover our properties or to get a just compensation for the properties. We could return if the local congregations would be allowed to be locally incorporated as the church brother Joel Montes pastors is already incorporated. The controlling suffocating national system has to suffer a complete reform. Such system has been strangulating church growth for a long time. The economic system would have to change as well. If these changes do not occur, our return to the AA would be almost impossible.
In closing, I pray that the Lord will continue to richly bless everyone. It states in (2 Corinthians 4:7-10) “7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.”

Because of all the piles and piles that I have of the AA History, and so many events that have gone unmentioned throughout the 100 years of the AA since the Azusa street Revival.
I guess that I can see the great need for more History, besides California to be mentioned.
In some of the Heraldo's publications are many pictures of the work in Midland, Texas. Where Brother Valentin Torres is pictured with the Episcopal Body of the AA.
He was a very good and hard working man. In one of the Heraldo's is the entire congregation in front of the Church that Brother Valentin Torres pastored.
This was why Daniel Sanchez made a "mistake" by asking Bishop Abel Torres to be part of the "Descalificadora Committee."
Sanchez simply "forgot" that the up bringing of Bishop Abel was one, of "not playing Church politics", but of respecting the Church of the Lord, whose ministers represent and thus "respect" and state the truth, such as in elections.
It is a shame that this blogs, have been utilized by individuals like those that are "foul mouthing", each other.
These are the same old, same old, that will "call the entire", at conventions of the Assembly and have them fast and pray, for "the Lord to Elect" the right man....
Lying under the Holy Spirit and thus "fooling the entire General Body of the Saints<
they tell the congregation of the AA, uncrupulous and without any qualms, or
guilt" that
"The Lord has chosen these and these and these!"
beginning with the GB to the famous Dorcas, forever the "same old, same old, the Varones and Mop.
What liars! I have in my files, the results of the elections of many conventions, signed by the Brethren of the General Board of Mx., who at that time were with the Assembly.
But the ones that were "running" the AA during the 70-90's finally would have no part with the "Iglesia de Mex., because "the ones running the AA were not able to munipulate the Mexican Church, from Mexico, to have the ones running the AA continue to be "elected by God" as they would fradulate say, and be Placed in Office, for year after year and after year...

It was an "answer" to all the "prayers" of the Saints from day "one" of the time that Brother Nava was "forced" by Reverend E.M. Cota and Arturo Hermosillo and Cirilio Leyba from New Mexico,WHO AT THAT TIME WERE "CONTEMPORARY TO BROTHER NAVA'S AGE.
These brothers that were USA citizens and "forced" the issue of "elections" that Brother Nava never allowed and was "supported" big time by his "comprade" Felipe Rivas from La Iglesia de Mexico, who also had "not allowed" elections for over 40 years...Brother Rivas being the "overseer in Mexico and Brother Nava in the Assembly.
Brother Nava would not "give up" his Mexican citizenship, and it was required by the AA consittution if to be registerd in D. C. to have the President be an american citizen.
But Brother Nava,never became an USA citizen, because there was no "dual citizenship" then, and Brother Nava was investing in "Real Estate property in Rosarito, and Ensenada etc.,,
"finally about 30 years, of not allowing elections,to fianlly have elections in the year 1950.

Therefore, with 'HAND KID GLOVES' THE SITUATION WAS "CAREFULLY HANDLED"..

But the really amazing thing to me is that I can actually verify many of the things you talk abut because I recall hearing my parents talk of such things when I was a child. My parents knew all these people you mention very well and I would hear them talk in hushed tones about many of the things you talk about so I know you are certainly telling the truth. I hear that most people who come out of the assembly are succesful.
So why are you so worried about Arthur if he is not even worried about it.
What does it concern you. Does not the word of God say that alll things work together for the good of those who love him.
If I were Arthur I would be thanking God because Torres did him a favor he freed him from the Bondage of the AA.
To Mary: Im glad that you are coming to your senses and wanting to repent at the altar. If you truly repent however, then you should no longer leave any negative comments on this blog or any other blog, or those you happen to share you view points with concerning FLC or any other church for that matter. We all fall short, so yes, repent and God shall forgive us all.
My intentions are not to leave negative comments or anything like that. I am here just to defend what's right and what is the actual truth.
You see, there are those that come in here and talk about here say. They dont really know the truth, just what they hear. That is nothing but gossip. If you know the truth, then thats fine. But you no one should come in here for the purpose of spreading rumors or trying to bring someone down. Who are we to judge? We all have our faults, Jesus tells us in His Word, not to judge other, or else we shall be judged ourselves.
Mary, I pray that when you come to church, you come for the soul purpose of hearing from the Lord, and worshipping and praising HIS name. Any other reason would just be in vain.

The district service in Indio this past weekend was a FLOP. Sanchez preached. There were 30-35 pastors missing and some that were there left before he even spoke. I WONDER WHY????

in consulting with legal beagals, the appellate panel of judges has already filed their opinion, it is just a matter of the lawyers reading their opinion for the possibility of hearing oral arguments. once that is done, the final ruling from the panel will be submitted and not just one judge as you stated.

Looks like Art Hanos formerly of E. Pacheco's church made a wise decision.
Pacheco gave him an option to pastor Midland or Oregon church. Art chose Oregon.
I don't know if Art realizes his own pastor was willing to sell him down the river by offering Midand church. The members that stayed are the trouble makers of the church and refuse to progress. They are very content with how services were conducted in the 50's and have no desire to change.
Word is if AA sends a pastor to Midland those remaining members are out of there!
To: The truth for once, I dont care what Mary writes, so long as it doesn't sow discord, if she is truly repented, then she will no longer post negative comments on here about anyone, or any church because it does nothing but sow discord. She was the one that suggested for the both of us to repent at an altar. I dont have to post my true name in order for what I say to be true. Everything that I say on here can be confirmed by anyone else who, "knows the truth."
You know, there are many people in here who try to use Pastor & sis Rosie Hernandez's memory for their defense regarding the G.B., they post how great of a man he was, about the legacy he left, about Isaac Hernandez was heir to the church....
Yes, Pastor Hernandez was a great man of God, he was a mentor to hundreds if not thousands including myself, and he did leave a great legacy, but people tend to forget about what Bro Hernandez stood for. He stood for the truth, he preached the truth no matter who's hearts it may prick. Even if it meant preaching against his own family. Because he always said that the church always came first. We tend to forget his teachings about sowing discord and about causing division, Yes, Bro Hernandez may have had his issues with the G.B., but he never left the G.B. He never did because he knew the importance of being accountable to someone else. He knew that even though the G.B. has its flaws, its no different with any other organization. Thats why he never left the AA.
There is no such thing as heirs to a church, God's church doesnt belong to any one man, or any one family, it Belongs to Him. Brother Hernandez came and taught us at S.A.D.E.L.A. about leadership. He taught that no matter who is elected, no matter who is appointed, no matter who is placed as Pastor of a church,God is not going to allow HIS church to be placed under just anybody. God is in control, not man. People tend to forget that. they are so caught up in chisme that they forget about who is really in charge. there is nothing we can do or say to remove someone from office. Dear God, I pray for all the hurt and angry people on this blog. I ask that a healing takes place and remove all bitterness from our bloggers. I pray the leaders from both sides would quite posting church business publicly. When the body lashes out at one another, then the Devil gets the victory. Please reconcile our spiritual leaders from both sides. I rebuke the carnal minded spirit that caused our fellowship to go to a public court hearing to settle in house disputes. Shame on our leaders from both sides and I pray lord that you deal with them now and not when they get to heaven.
