Revolutionaries for Justice

So the Revolutionaries for Justice want to come with video camera's in hand and try to affect change?

Have you not seen the Rodney King Video? It doesn't matter what the video shows, they were found not guilty.

Do you realize that a very well respected group of pastors just tried to sue our Beloved Assembly and ended up losing their churches. You think our leaders are going to listen to a few foul mouthed, name calling, disrespectful noobs? I think not! You must realize one thing; the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus, Inc.(Texas and California) has the legal system behind them.

You can't fight City Hall. I am surprised they sued. I am surprised that some of these pastors are apologizing. "I'm sorry for pointing out how the AA and its constituents were defrauded from a fair election, can I have my church back"? But I do understand why they are apologizing: It is their livelihood at stake. That is very unfortunate because most of these pastors have nothing else to fall back on.

I did read Sister Rita Solomon's letter over on AA.info. She is very well respected, intelligent and well spoken. She articulated very well her feelings and emotions through her ordeal. The anxiety, the unknowing, the embarrassment, the humiliation, the frustration of trying to do what was right and being told you where wrong, the lack of clarity as to what the future holds, being called rebellious. As Bill Clinton said, "I feel your pain".

Now you know what countless other pastors wives, who where excommunicated and removed while your husband was on the General Board and stood their and said nothing, feels like. Welcome to the real world. And I do say that with the utmost respect and admiration for you and your husband's ministry...but it had to be said. This type of politics has been bred in our Assembly, many generations have been through this. You held the reigns and did nothing to change this, not only did you do nothing to change this, you fostered this corruption. You lived high of the hog and now the hog has turned and kicked you out of the pen.

You are free now, there is no need to come back. What are you going to come back to? Its easier to see how dirty things are when your not rolling around in it. Run free and be clean no one can hold property over your head anymore. All the other pastors are held hostage by their properties. John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. The truth is that Jesus did not intend for pastors to be slaves to an organization. An organization that can do what it wants, when it wants to whom in wants in the name of Jesus. Pastor's do not realize that they are held captive because of the structure of the AA. It controls the property therefore holds captive its pastors. I may not be Bible scholar but I don't think this is what God intended. It breeds corruption, pride of the flesh.

Back to the Revolutionaries...

If you want to really affect change, you must change from within. Lose the slang, lose the hostility, put on a tie and a suit and STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED. Speak clearly, assertively and with the peace and kindness of Christ. You must grow into a position of respect and admiration, then...when you hold the reigns, you must not let the power go to your head. You must be a giver, not selfish and look out for future generations of Latino's across this country. Not you and your children's fancy houses and cars. This is how we must build wealth, by effecting the lives of others beyond your site and reach. YOU MUST AFFECT THE EFFECT!(That is for Freddie Jose, some of the old timers will understand the FJ reference). It will take time, be steadfast.

I am afraid if you don't, this may be the beginning of the end of our beloved social.

It rolled in the garden,

And then the next summer,
It grew into a tree.

R4J. I agree with you on the need for the church to make a stand and do something. Like my name, Neutrality must be active in order to bring two sides together. Not passive, becuae, to be passive is to allow the injustice to continue on. However, your behavior is ungodly, immature, and counterproductive. As this post was so smoothly written, Your motive is correct, but your manner is way off! I want to do something, im just not totally sure on how to do it. I'd like to discuss further with you but I cannot align myself with this type of mannerisms. I am strongly considering the advice of only allowing my tithes to be used in the local church. It may cost me my license eventually but thats a strong consideration of mine at this point.

I am an assistant to R4J and on my behalf, R4J appreciates your comments and also commends you for taking a stand.

As you may not know, there are more than just R4J that oppose. To my understanding there has derived two groups from R4J itself. R4J (Revolutionaries4Justice), A4J (Apostolics4Justice), and AR (Apostolic Restoration). That does not include the many opposers to the GB on this blog not associated with these groups, of whom state their own personal opinion.

If you read over the scripts, it is true you see emotion. Everyone is human.

Please don't stereotype only R4J for these actions. Consider re-reading the prior blogs and then make a just validation.

Thank you for your concern, your input is vital to R4J and you will be held in prayer for your stand. As R4J conducts prayer circles and fasting days for the people of God.

Please keep R4J in your prayers, so that we may better ourselves as well.

God Bless and Keep You

What is the purpose of this Revolution????? After reading so many of the comments on this blog and letters from the info page I am beginning to question this whole idea. I believe the blogmaster said some things in his last post that shook many of you all. There is no doubt in my mind there were some fishy things that went on with the elections in ‘06. I believe both sides agree with that! The General board has done some things that appear to be both morally and politically incorrect. Again we all agree. So for many of you all the answer to the problem is get rid of the GB, and reinstate the pastors who where stripped of their churches. Will these actions change anything? The answer is NO! Though the four plaintiffs have complained about election irregularities they have not once spoken against the current system of government in the AA. While I celebrate the courage of these men to stand up against the odds as it pertains to the elections I like many others question whether or not they see the need for structural change in the AA. While many of you youthful revolutionaries see the need for change I’m not so sure that feeling is mirrored by those (Consenters, Plaintiffs,) you hope to lead this effort. Believing that removing a few bad apples is going to eliminate the problem is to begin to think and act like those people you are trying to get rid of (GB) Did they not get rid of 4 Pastors thinking that their removal would clean up the (GB’s) big mess. What needs to change structure not just leadership. The system is failing because thank God we have a new generation of critical thinkers who will not allow themselves to be hustled out of destiny. So I encourage you revolutionaries to see beyond 4 pastors begin thrown out of their churches and see a generation of souls lost because of a weaken structure in the Church. If you really want to change the AA start with you. Study Kingdom order and church structure and begin to implement these ideas and you grown into your place in the church. I thank God for your effort and passion. I pray that your passion will encourage your leaders to step into this new season.

I am in no way pardoning the actions of the GB. I just want to point out there is a need for a fight that goes beyond election irregularities.

Last November, Bishop Torres (one of the plaintiffs) stood up before the assembly of Pastors and proposed several changes. The Pastors concurred with the changes. They agreed to vote on the changes at the next general convention (Gaylord 2008). In order for the matters presented to be voted on, the presenter (Torres) must raise the issue(s). By removing him, they have effectively prevented his proposals from being voted on and passed.

Two of the items alone would preven Sam from becoming president. 20yr Max on GB & requirement to have been ELECTED and to have SERVED as a district bishop for a FULL term.

Eastcoaster said...

Two Vote,

I glad to hear that Bishop Torres has made these suggestions. I'm sorry for making a generalization in my last post. When I speak of structural change is goes beyond length of board members terms. The big issue that has to be address is the control the organization's (GB) has over church properties. Bishop Torres knows this better than anyone. If they continue to control properties the truth is they can keep each pastor in there little system. The way churches are given or taken has to be revamped. We must return to kingdom order. I can't say for sure but I think some of the individuals who were removed would be willing to come back even if things were to remain the same.
I hope not but reading some of these letters that is the feeling I got.

Again I stand corrected as it
pertains to Bishop Torres speaking up against structure. Please Bishop Torres go deeper.

Let us not be distracted with the R4J comments. Let us continue to share thoughts regarding more than just the elections as "eastcoaster" has said.

I posted this the other day.

This is going to be long, but please follow me. Read this twice if you don't understand the first time.

10/05/2007 - General Board "dated" letter sent letter to plantiffs. An exact date recieved would have to be later than the date on the letter.

10/09/2007 - Date set by General Board for plantiffs to have meeting. Less than four days for plantiffs to make appropriate decisions. General Board attempting to force plantiffs to make a rash/pressured decision.

10/11/2007 - AAFCJ, Texas Inc. made official. A corporation takes two weeks to create. Therefore, the General Board made this decision before attempting to resolve the matter. Decision was made solely by General Board, no other authority had a say in it.

11/10/2007 - Dr. Baldemar Rodriguez celebrated ground breaking service for the new temple to be built. General Board members that attended (not limited to):

Sam Valverde
Abel Aguilar
Felipe Lugo
Sergio Maffey
Adam Lopez

Amount collected at service = rounded to 50k.

General Board members donations = Between 7k - 10k.

Donations given by church members = rounded to 40k.

Now is the time to refer to the afore mentioned in regard to the new Texas corporation.

The General Board members that went to the service gave monies already knowing of the new corporation. A factual person knowing would be Sam Valverde, as he his name appears on the Texas Corp. documents.

How could the General Board allow the Bro.'s to be manipulated in giving monies to a temple they knew was never going to be built under the AAFCJ, Ca? The General Board never took a loss. However, the bro.'s took a personal 40k loss.

If the building in San Bernardino is ever built under AAFCJ, Tx. or rather even the fact that the members gave monies for a building to be built by the church itself and money is used for another cause, the members could sue for false pretense. All donations were made to AAFCJ, Ca. in regard to a building construction fund. Another tid bit, all donations were made to AAFCJ, Ca. NOT AAFCJ, Tx.

I do agree that greater changes are required to ensure the organization is safeguarded from this happening again.

I have said before, and I say again this is how the 'AA version of the Mark of the Beast' will be introduced.

A totally revamped constitution will be presented. This constitution will contain everything we would like to see in a constitution. The 'catch' will be, the Pastors will be agreeing to the dissolution of the AA/CA and the almost complete transfer of assets to AA/TX. This will be somewhere in the fineprint.

The chosen three will retain control and will grant themselves power to amend the agreed upon constitution. At the same time, their golden parachutes will have already been created and $$ will be transferred to their personal non profit organizations to payoff their buildings.

By the time the dust settles, they will be long gone. And Factsonly1 will be left with his nose stained wondering why he's been abandoned. Not even the crooks of Rancho would want to maintain their association with him.

factsonly1 said...

What TWO VOTE said is correct, only to the fact that some of the plaintiffs presented proposals last year at the Convention that could have made serious changes in our structure.

That goes to show you the BIG BLUNDER that the plaintiffs made by taking it to the courts instead of taking to the pastors who could have voted to implement the changes. They were not patient or humble to wait on the Lord and fix this in house.

Now the only hope they have is the Revs of injustice (talk about a lost, weak hope). They lost everything including the opportunity to make change.

That's what happens when you ignore the Bible (1 Cor. 6:1-8) and take matters into your own hands.

Learn from this Revs of injustice, you exalt yourselves and you will be humbled.

Dear Pastors, Bishops and those interested in the future of the Apostolic
Assembly

Prior to writing this note, I was contemplating as to why this is such an
important matter to me and after I thought of the sweat, tears, sacrifice
that many men and women of God invested in the church assembly then I knew
that it was important to share my thoughts.

Let's suppose for a moment that the allegations of fraud could not be
confirmed then I ask the question were the actions and decisions made by the
General Board appropriate? At the very least the decisions or actions taken
appears to be 'hiding something' in other words, acting guilty. This action
is what has hurt the church assembly the most and that is the reason why you
read references like: greedy, arrogant, unforgiving and selfish, is this
type of attitude or behavior portraying the fruit of the Spirit? instead the
actions taken is undermining the sacrifices of many men and women that gave
themselves to the work of God, people like: Antonio Nava, Benjamin Cantu,
Epifiano Cota, Jose Ortega, Francisco Llorente, Lorenzo Salazar, Rodolfo
Rodriguez, Thomas Ramirez, Robert Ramirez, Francisco Meza, Frank Morales,
Leonardo Sepulveda and so many others. I ask another question, how can a
handful of men in such a short time destroy what many have labored in the
past? this damage is occurring on a fast pace scale that must be halted
before it tears the church assembly apart.

As I read the letter to the Pastors from the General board just a couple of
days ago, I could not help but think how furiously the GB is attempting to
"spin" the information when so much of this could have been addressed
several months ago. In that letter it references to calling seven former
bishops for advice, but if I am not mistaken, this meeting was more a one
sided conversation by the GB and not from these men that were allegedly
called for advice. So I ask a couple of men that were called by the GB,
Bishop Quiroz and Bishop Lopez do you really believe in your heart that you
are supporting honorable action by the GB? Then I ask the question, then why
were other Bishops not called for advice such as men like: Bishop Jauhall,
Bishop Cota or Bishop Aguirre and others? It appears to me that the GB was
only 'seeking' the advice from anyone that would support their view without
question, so Bishop Quiroz is it not time to speak your mind and stand in
the gap before the damage becomes irreparable? Bishop Tafoya, what happened
to your firm objection raised? What happened to the time that you wished to
address the Bishops? Why were you silenced? And finally why did you give in?
Do you really believe in your heart that you were standing for the truth? If
so, you still have time to do what is right.

It is not surprising to me that the GB is now attempting to smooth this over
by quoting scriptures, ordering fasting and prayer when all along it appears
to many that the actions and approach of the GB was not based on the
scripture. In my opinion page 9 which is the response by Bishops, Solomon,
Rodriguez and Torres was further proof of the spirit and attitude that these
three men had when responding to the invitation to the meeting, I also
believe that someone 'goofed' at the General Offices by including this
letter to the Pastors.

Now with the General Convention approaching all of you have a great 'tool'
in your hands, that you either go the convention to voice your opinion with
the warning that there can also be a form of retaliation against you or as a
group you can join together in protest by boycotting the convention this
year, send a message loud and clear that the Assembly cannot be run into the
ground any longer. I base my recommendation on the following: If in 2006 all
of you as Pastors prayed for God's direction to lead you in voting for your
leaders, then why did a handful of men usurp God's authority by reversing
the tallied votes in favor of men that did not receive the majority of
votes? Furthermore, this CID that everyone has referenced to was the tool
used to reverse your so called leading of God to vote for leaders of the
Assembly. This is the basis of the concern, this is the basis of the
objections raised this is the reason why three Bishops have lost their
credentials, church and membership from the Assembly because either someone
or a few men decided to reverse the order of God and furthermore, this will
be the reason why there will be an exodus of many from the AA.

In other words, if you attend the convention then you are giving the victory
to the GB which will be interpreted that the Pastors and Bishops supported
their stance all along, I beg of you, do not give this victory to the GB, it
is time to stand up as a group, because as an individual it is almost likely
that there will be retaliation but not if you approach this as a large
group. Now is the time to make your voice heard, do not allow the actions of
a few destroy the lives and ministries of many.

Now we hear that a new organization was formed in Texas without the consent and approval of the pastors and bishops. There is a personal agenda that must be identified and stopped. Whick leaders or Leaders of today will stand up for Truth and Justice? by keeping silent you are part of the concern and not the solution.

I agree with the blogmaster and his surprise that the plaintiffs sued.

They were also part of the corruption for so many years.

Both Baldemar and Salomon and others were part of the excommunication and removal of many pastors who were less culpable than the plaintiffs.

During the dictatorial reign of Baldemar and others, these kind of offenses against pastors and ministers were a common event.

It seems like they thrived on conflict, on power struggles and on destroying and demeaning those who they considered less than themselves.

They stood stone cold as simple men of God were hacked up spiritually, emotionally, financially, etc.

Now, they are experiencing ‘en carne propia’ what they allowed to happen to others.

Now they are pleading to be returned to the AA.

I personally saw more than my share of these removals and the devastation to the pastor, his family and the churches.

I don’t believe for a minute that change can be affected in the next generation. Our corruption goes too deep.

Hopefully, this era of corruption will end when Sanchez and his gang are removed and we can begin with the right spirit and right intent, in Jesus Name.

You seem to infer that he is now getting a dose of his own medicine…but in my opinion past administrations are guilty of NOT removing pastors fast enough before they could destroy the work of the congregations… I mean our leaders are removing pastors with proven track records and leaving in place some tyrants that have no business being pastors and their families… I’m not generalizing of course?

Bro, its easy to be monday morning quaterback. How come you never spoke up back in the day?

I do agree, the AA is built wrong and therefore doomed because it prostitutes the tithing system estalished in the word.

On another note. I keep hearing Valverde keeps going to the hospital due to stress. Hmmm, not exactly a man at peace with his actions. Life is stressful, but when you are in Christ, and doing God's will, you can live in peace.

I dont get it. Hmmm....

Have a great weekend everyone.

Its true who knows why some of those Pastors were removed under BR. Those issues can not be made public. I know of three that were removed under BR who were tyrants and abusers, and let me tell you that they were not removed fast enough.
A lot of damage was done. One even when he left wrote on the Pastor's residence walls that the whole congregation was going to HELL.

To The Truth for Once:
Just another example of how far removed from reality the General Boards thinking is…..
They seriously think that by mailing out a letter to all the pastors and casting the plaintiff’s in a negative light, that will turn the tide in their favor in the court of public opinion???
Don’t kid yourself
Men like brother B.R. are known nationally not just because of their titles but because of their testimonies…one letter will never destroy what has taken these men a lifetime to build…
These brothers do not preach one thing and practice another, it is sickening to read the letter from Bro. Salomon, it makes me angry to think that a good pastor has been removed when there are so many others so called “pastors” destroying GOD’s work….
To Samuel Valverde:
You are scheduled to appear at Los Angeles, CA Varones Camp the 2nd week of September.
Just know this….
YOU ARE NOT WELCOME, YOUR PREACHING IS NOT WELCOME, YOUR WORDS ARE NOT TO BE BELIEVED
YOU PREACH GOD’S LOVE and MERCY, YET YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY FOR YOUR FELLOW MEN, HOW MUCH MONEY WILL YOU BE MAKING FOR THIS APPEREANCE AT CAMP, WE WILL HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU THAT DAY.

Does anyone know how much Valverde charges for his "Love Offering"?

Where's this camp?

To interested in truth and justice....

I go along with you in calling the Bishops on the carpet as they go along with the GB.

It is audacious of Benjamin Quiroz to sign the letter against the Plaintiffs, when he, himself is in violation of the AA Constitution that states that no pastor can have the church property in his own name.

When he was pastor and Bishop in Texas, the church property was always in his name and when he left, he turned the church and the property over to his son-in-law and daughter, Joel and Linda Montes.

The property is still not in the name of the AA Corporation, but privately held in the names of the Montes.

Is this okay with Sanchez, or is he asleep or senile?

Quiroz has always been legalistic and self righteous. That doesn’t come by way of a righteous background. He married a divorcee—which is against AA policy for ministers. I know some good men who cannot be Pastors because they have married a divorcee. But like all things in the AA, some can and some can’t.

Henry....
I spoke up in the day. No one would listen. You would be surprised at how much we had to swallow or sweep under the carpet, lest we, too, be ostracized.

Jesse...
In the last several weeks I mentioned on the blog, several pastors who were excommunicated by former administrations. Look them up.

If this doesn't tell you how they think of the people, I;m not sure what will.

In their eyes, your are a simpleton, a child, and ignorant simple person who will do as you are told. You couldn't make this up if you wanted to.. lol

But I ask, who is the simpleton? Is this not suppose to be a revolutionary, game changing new shift in the AA? And all the AA can do to support you is to host a low-attended conference at the dirtcit level? These guys are a joke. This is like tryiing to switch to SAP via an e-mail (lol). I doubt anyone at HQ will get that (lol).

What they should do, is hold a special convention and require ALL of the Pastors to attend (PLEASE give more than 4 days notice). Then they could share their side of the story.

Wouldn't that be nice. Then the Pastors could unite and remove the CANCER from the organization.

I have come to some info that a shadow AA movement is in the works. It seems a few of the usual suspects are involved (the plaintiffs), and a few others who have left in the past few years.

While I by no means think this is a viable laternative, I would warn them to get it right this time.

Heck, don;t even have the word "Apostolic" in the name of the new organization (lol)

Hotel style accommodations, meals included, cost $250. Pres phone (562) 244-8574
Our district leaders in their infinite wisdom found it appropriate to invite Valverde and V.Prado, go figure! The good news as I found out they are NOT the main speakers, they’ll just go there to pick up a few bucks!!
We are still in shock after the removal of B.R.
To Apostolicanalyst:
While B.R. was president, were there any pastor’s that you are aware of that were removed and treated in this manner for asking questions about any elections?? If so please give specifics if you can…
We should create a tv special called “WHEN GOOD PASTOR’S GO BAD”

We assume people are not aware because this is not something you discuss out in the open, at least not yet, we only discuss this within our circle, but believe me, this situation and actions by the GB only confirm many suspicions….

Jesse, the problem is some people know about it, but after being brainwashed by the DGB, they ignore everything they hear.

The new corporation (AA/tx) sparked lots of interest and many Pastors that were following blindly have decided to open their eyes and find out more.

I like the idea of compiling a list e-mail addresses and informing everyone of 1) this blog http://apostolicnews.blogspot.com/ & 2) www.apostolicassembly.info

It was mentioned earlier that word of the growing disdain for the AA is spreading like wildfire. I had the chance to be in attendance in a church of one of the bishops in Southern California this morning. I was quickly reminded of how much the church has changed into a big fundraiser to pockets unknown. The pastor was asking for $3k offerings to paid in 45 days in addition to 2k, 1k and whatever else the members (are we members anymore technically?) wanted to give. You should have been in attendance to hear the crickets going off when money was being raised. You should have seen the pastor's wife squirm and try to keep face as the congregation held to their hard earned money. Very uneasy look on the face of the bishop as the pockets of people went dry. Very sad.

AND don't forget about Jaime - Poles don't come cheap.

Now pastor's wife will have to settle for Norstrom, Macy's & 'cheap' stores like that.

You'd better repent and start giving or you may be excommunicated next. Why keep you around if you're not giving??? That rebelious spirit of yours might spread to others. Then what will we do??

Bishop President Sanchez, Bishop Vice-President Valverde, General Board Members:
Greetings to you in Jesus name.
My name is Carlos Ivan Alvarez; I am 23 years old and serve as the Assistant Pastor of Youth & Music Operations in Denver, Colorado for Bishop Daniel Salomon. I am a Licensed Ordained Minister of the Apostolic Assembly and have been in the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus my entire life. I know no other church, culture or system. Regardless of any past, present or future situation, I highly esteem and respect those that are in the Episcopalian, Pastoral and Ministerial leadership.
For the past few weeks, my personal and ministerial life has experimented sadness, deception and disappointment. On Monday, June 30, I arrived to my church location to carry on with my daily tasks, but to my surprise, an unfamiliar team of security officers and lawyers were at the doors of my church blocking the entrances. Immediately, a simple statement was made to me: “Can I help you?” I reacted in shock. Respectfully, I found a way to speak to a lawyer that was present. He explained to me what was happening and told me he could grant me only a few minutes to collect any personal belongings I had in the building. During this time, a hired locksmith was changing the locks of our church doors. I was told I needed to exit the building as soon as the locksmith was done. Unfortunately, the locksmith finished as soon as the statement was made to me, so with no time to take any belongings with me, I exited out of my church and sat on the steps in tears. I asked myself, “Why weren’t we told ahead of time? In the professional world, regardless of any situation concerning removal or termination, people are given notices. How could this be happening in such harsh manner?” In my opinion, this was unlawful, unethical and disrespectful.
As the rest of the week carried on, we continued to experiment a horrible and dry wilderness of mass confusion with the church body. I stayed by my pastor’s side every moment I could. He is my mentor, father, friend and role model. I could not leave his side. This man is the only Pastor out of all my former pastors who has truly taken me under his wing as a son and friend; has set aside all favoritism and has given me the opportunity to blossom. Inspite of what is happening, he continues to be my Pastor and a respected leader to many all over the world.
Then, Sunday came. July 6, 2008 is a day I will never forget. It was 1:30pm just in time for our Spanish Service to begin. That day, we experimented the presence of God in a powerful way. The attendance was of well over 400 people, and the worship of the Lord was truly being lifted up. The moment came in which my pastor, Bishop Daniel Salomon, made his way to the platform and spoke briefly and courteously. He presented and recognized the Colorado District Board and their wives, District Bishop and his wife, and Bishop Vice-President and his wife. The service was then turned over to the District Bishop. He also spoke briefly and without further adieu, presented the speaker, Bishop Vice-President Valverde. As he took his place, he began to speak to the congregation. On a personal note, I can and will always say that Bishop Valverde is a professional conductor, orator and speaker. As he continued to speak, it was obvious there was tension and confusion in the air. One of the things that shocked me was that throughout the entire time, Bishop Valverde never referred to my pastor as “Pastor” or “Bishop.” He simply referred to him as “Brother Salomon.” Without wasting any time, he went right to the so mentioned lawsuit.

~ Bishop Daniel Salomon Senior Pastor
He made it known that our Pastor had been involved in a lawsuit against the Apostolic Assembly and that some repercussions would have to be set in place. Though, he never said the reason for the lawsuit. The consequences included that our Pastor would be recessed for a period of 3 months with no pastoral rights or duties, and would have to remove himself from the lawsuit for good. He would also have to humble himself, admit he was wrong this entire time, and ask for forgiveness. If he complied with this and a much more extensive list, he could possibly return to his pastorship. No guarantee for pastorship was ever made concerning this matter. After the repercussions were announced and declared, Bishop Valverde began to preach. Tension filled the air. His message embraced the principles of reconciliation, unity and forgiveness.
After the message was preached, Bishop Valverde asked for the District Bishop and my Pastor to come forward. With a black leather Bible in my pastor’s hand, he continued to comply with their repercussions, and with all humbleness, he publicly and officially transferred over the pastoral responsibilities to the District Bishop. Afterwards, the Bishop’s family made their way to the platform and closed with a song. As they began their song, I removed myself from the platform, along with a few others and over half of the congregation walked out of the service in tears, anger and frustration, and altogether proving a statement. The statement: this obligated recession towards our Pastor and Leader was not going to be tolerated or accepted.
I close with the following statements:
With all due respect, I disagree with you, Bishop President Daniel Sanchez. Though, I do admire and accept your propositions of reconciliation, the process you are taking is incorrect. True and genuine reconciliation is made when both parties humble themselves and admit that they were wrong. The scripture says: “forgive us of our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us.” Part of ministerial ethics that was taught to me was that true Godly leaders always apologize and humble themselves for any wrong doings, regardless if they were at fault or not. Why aren’t the men who taught this to me practicing such ministerial ethics? My concerns are: Why should we be the only ones to admit and say that we were at fault? Why should we be the only ones to humble ourselves? We have humbled ourselves with our whole hearts to you, Bishop Sanchez. Why do you still hold on to your unforgiveness? I say this to you with my most love and concern:
If you continue to neglect the fact that you and the General Board are at fault as well, and refuse to humble yourselves, then reconciliation will never happen in the hearts of the whole body of Christ you are responsible for. The people cry out to you: Let justice be served Bishop President! You have ignored the cry. In the sight and presence of God, you are the International Leader. The responsibility of the spiritual well being of the people, the Pastors and their health, future generations and Apostolic Heritage rests on you, Bishop Daniel Sanchez.
Finally, with this letter, I submit to you my resignation as a Licensed Minister in the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus, Inc. This decision has been made with much thought, prayer and due to the decisions the General Board made in regards to my pastor, church and ministry. Enclosed with this letter is my most current ministerial license. My prayers and best wishes are with you and your family, the General Board of Directors and to the entire Apostolic Assembly International family.
In His Service,
Rev. Carlos Ivan Alvarez

I shutter at the thought of the terminology used in the AA these days.

Yes, a lot of the bretheren if not the majority come from the Roman Catholic Church.

But more and more as I see the dealings and transactions by the leaders of the AA they are manipulated by what someone coined as the spirit of Rome.

The word ex-communicate is a Roman Catholic Church practice toward those that teach heresy or don't see eye to eye with the Holy Vicar the Pope in our case the GB.

The way all properties must be put in the organization's name and send a tribute to the Vatican in or case HQ in Rancho Cucamonga. Even though there is taxation without representation, you better send it if you know what's possible or you'll lose an imaginary spiritual covering that is never there.

My Little Revolutionaries,
May I suggest that you go back and read my last blog while not being so defensive. It was actually and admonishment as to how to address the ills of our beloved Social.

I am neither for or against the Revolutionaries or the GB. For to do so would mean that I must wear a banner of those that I know are inherently flawed. I am for bringing light to what for to long has been covered up. I must stand for the greater cause, not for a man or side. This allows me to call it as I see it.

Class in now in session:

First, if you can't control your tongue then no one will listen to you. If you can carefully and artfully articulate your argument without name calling then you will gain more attention and credibility.

Notice how I used humor to capture your attention, then I dove into an engaging dialogue and critique regarding the matters of our beloved Social.

You read, you pondered, you contemplated; It made you think. This, my friends, fosters big, bold, bright and brash constructive dialogue and ideas.

Second, If they don't know where your coming from they won't know how to stop you.

Now, my little grasshoppers, go and rub your thoughts together and together you can make a sweet chorus that demands attention...no matter what side you are on.

While I respect your eloquent and well articulated opinion,
Please let me share mine,
I believe that this blog has gotten the attention it has, its because people will find out unrestricted, unbiased information pro or con about our assembly and our beloved GB leaders, if you take that away, this blog loses it value immediately, I mean if you want to make sure they take you seriously, why don’t you just show up at headquarters with your artfully articulated thoughts, I mean your blogging anonymously!
do you agree?
Do I really care whether the gb reads this post or whether they take me seriously? Absolutely not!!
Because this information is targeted to our fellow brothers and Sisters ( the regular person in church) that make our leaders lifestyles possible,
Do you agree??

Apostolic Voice:

Though I can appreciate your attempt to learn the Revolutionaries better(misuse of proper english intended), I have to disagree in part.

Eloquent speech, the articulating of well thought out persuasive arguements, and use of proper language will get you nowhere with our esteemed leaders of the Apostolic Assembly.

Using eloquent speech, biblical references, they have summarily raped and pillaged the church and discarded biblical standards for those of their own.

So, as a result, we have an unhappy and disgruntled Apostolic Citizenry.

Revolution usually does not come with eloquent speech and proper table ediquettes(misspelling intended for effect).

Diplomacy was attempted and rejected.

This is an all out war, legal and spiritual.

I therefore deem it proper and necessary to curse the DEVIL and their works of inquinity(Defined as works of inequality that move indefinately and balanced as inequity)!

Henry,
I don't think diplomacy was attempted. A lawsuit was filed in haste with out time for diplomacy. It was filed by men attempting to coupe what they determined to be their inheritance. They where rebuffed and attempted to sway public opinion with one sided web sites. The purpose of this blog is make sure that ALL voice are heard.

I don't want to take your "Prophet" status but I do think this issue will be resolved by someone other then those who have interest in either parties. In other words and disinterested party looking out for the good of the Social not their own pocketbooks.

Also for the record, I have not sided with either party. Only the freedom to voice your and Henry's opinion. This has been squelched to long.

Apostiolic Voice:

You are absolutely correct. In a Dictorial System such as ours, diplomacy is viewed as not needed.

Some how, our leaders think they have a divine mandate and are the lone reciever of God's message to the people. No need for discussion. No need for a vote. no need to honor the votes of 600 pastors.

One issue is that our leader's see themselves as the head of a theocracy and therefore no need for accountability. They are free to rule, abuse and take advantage in the name of God. So they think.

As for my Prophet status, well, if people like Anthony Romo, Edward Pacheco, and Martin Del Campo can call themselves Prophets, then so can I. I, at a mere minimum, graduated from an accredited University and took a class in Religion.

I Have Spoken.

WHAT??

“Diplomacy was not attempted”
Did you read any of the letters posted on the .info site???

“They were rebuffed”
look, our constitution was put together by men who I believe, never thought these kind of individuals (our present board) would ever reach the top positions, after all wasn’t that the purpose of the fasting and praying before the elections so that GOD would select the right persons. Times have changed unfortunately our constitution did not.

“one sided websites”
You said “traffic to this blog has produced over 30,000 unique visitors per month and over 150,000 visits from over 1,500 cities throughout the US and other countries.”

How come we don’t see a flood of people defending the actions of GB??

Are you filtering out those defending the gb?

This mess was not created overnight, so why do people expect this to get resolved right away?

The best thing to come out of all this, is the internet, our gathering place,
They can’t control it, they can’t manipulate it to say want they want it to say,
And this is what they fear the most.

If it wasn’t for this medium, how would we know what’s happening in Texas, Colorado, Rancho Cuca (oops! I did not mean to be disrespectful to the gb)

Two-Vote:

David Zuniga left before he got lynched, you see he won a law suit against the AA insurance for the death of his daughter. He received about 2.4mil. before atty fees. So I guess he was covered.

As for the debt he leaves behind, well that falls back on the AA, his monthly there is around 19k.

He was also shunned because of the G12 program that he has going on within his church.

Go figure!
Martin Del Campo has the same program going on in his church only he calls it something different, apparently he has a couple there, that are certified G12 leaders from another organization and are trying to re-buff the program in his local church, then introduce it to the AA.

I have an intriguing question for the blogmaster. When did it begin that all these views started on your site? Could it have been when Skotty's videos came out and the Revolutionaries4Justice were known?

Rambo said...

Sad to say that a 23 year old has more leadership skills and understanding than the "experienced" leaders on the general board. He puts them to shame!

Rambo said...

My thoughts are that the Blogmaster's lynching picture and the one above are in very poor taste. This is a very serious matter that is being discussed and commented on by the majority of us. Lots of people are devasted with these occurrences and have been deeply hurt. You shouldn't make jokes.

apostolicanalyst said...

To all the pastors who are taking over the churches vacated by the lynched Pastors, beware.

If the pastors who invested and cared for the flock and gave their all are this easily dismissed, then so can you, because you are on the surface—with no spiritual or personal or even financial investment.

I would not trust this Gestapo general board because they are all for themselves.

This has been proven by the formation of the new corporation of AA of Texas.

Where do you think you will end up when the Board has used you, exploited you and then discard you?

You certainly will not have the friendship of those who were lynched, or the backing of those who hold on to the Board for dear life.

For example, I feel sorry for Bro. Diaz who took over the church of Isaac Hernandez and for Abel Jimenez who was forced by Sanchez to take over Baldemar’s church, in that BR was Abel Jimenez best friend.

They too, will be removed by the whim of Sanchez at any given moment.

The purpose of the replacement pastors is to corral the property, the bank accounts and the other assets of those churches.

Once that is done, look out, or better yet, start looking for another ‘iglesita’ to take care of.

LL said...

aa & cant we get

I had mentioned something of what FYI is saying about Pastor Z $$$ about, three weeks ago.

But, for the pastors that take over these churches it's going to be an UPHILL battle.

Excerpts taken from the preaching of Jonathan Suber! For those that couldn’t make it to the site to watch the video…these are just excerpts…feel free to watch the full video at

Jonathan Suber - “The Revolution”

“As I studied the word revolution, I came to find out that revolution (in its original context), does not have anything to do with war, governments, or system. It simply means to make a full circle, or to revolve around something and to come back to the original.”

“It’s not about the fight, if you have a fight mentality, you need to pray through”

“Its not about the fight, its about journey, it is about stepping out and following the word of the Lord in your spirit”

“how did the apostles of the new testament operate, how did they have church?”

“when you begin to do that, you will find out that church government just as, now when I say church government, I did not say biblical authority, I said church government, when you begin to study church government you will find that we have brought in carnal concepts of administration and government and have tried to mingle them with spiritual things”

“The revolution that is going on in the earth today is that there are men and women that some would call rebellious who have said I am not going to submit to a man, if that man is out of the system of the authority of God! I will submit to apostolic authority that is standing as the voice of God upon the word of God but I am not going to stand for a historical structure that is keeping me out of what the spirit of the Lord says I must have!”

I seriously need to become a Televangelist:

From Todays OC Register.

God’s quid pro quo?
August 6th, 2008, 3:00 am · 10 Comments · posted by Teri Sforza, Register staff writer
If it is, indeed, easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven, the Crouches may have their work cut out for them.

A new report shows that Orange County’s first family of Christian broadcasting earned scads of silver leading the Trinity Broadcasting Network empire:

Paul F. Crouch, the pop (and president), makes $419,500 a year.
Janice W. Crouch, the mom (and vice president), makes $361,000 a year.
Paul F. Crouch Jr., the son (and vice president) makes $130,082.
The family salaries are highlighted in nonprofit watchdog Charity Navigator’s latest CEO salary report, which was released this week and tells us how much nonprofit leaders are making. (Generally speaking, not this much. The Crouches are among the highest-paid chief executives of religious nonprofits, the Chronicle of Philanthropy says.)

Trinity is the world’s largest religious broadcasting company. Its twinkling white headquarters - something of a cross between a Disneyland palace and an inspired recreation of the White House - is just off Interstate 405 in Costa Mesa.

TBN preaches “prosperity televangelism,” and preachers have urged the poor and debt-ridden to give, because God gives back most generously to those who can least afford it.

This inspired us to spend some more time with Trinity’s actual tax returns , which are posted at www.guidestar.com. Clearly, millions of people are listening, and digging deep into their pockets. In 2006, the most recent year reported, TBN:

took in $200.7 million,
spent $141.1 million,
and socked away the extra $59.6 million.
The stellar year pushes TBN’s net assets ever closer to the $1 billion mark - hovering now at $839 million. (Stay tuned; TBN had $327 million in mortgage-backed securities, so we’ll see how those investments fare down the road.)

PALTRY IN COMPARISON

“TBN stands out and is different from other nonprofits in that we’re a broadcasting entity,” said spokesman John Casoria (whose law office is one of TBN’s highest-paid independent contractors, getting $164,200 a year). “Though we consider ourselves a church, we’re a 501 c-3 and have been so for the last 35 years. Clearly we work in a different arena than most other charitable organizations.

“TBN is the 8th largest owner-operator of TV stations in the world,” he continued. “The salaries of these three individuals pales in comparison with people in the secular world doing similar work. This has not been not a job for them, but a life endeavor, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“So when you compare us to other nonprofits out there feeding children and doing disaster relief, it’s basically apples and oranges. It’s still fruit, it’s still a nonprofit, but it’s a completely different charitable model.”

Casoria says that for the first 10 or 15 years of TBN’s existence, Mrs. Crouch didn’t take a salary, and Mr. Crouch’s salary was “well under $100,000.” A “truly independent third party compensation committee” was brought in a few years ago to review what the Crouches do and offer recommendations on what they should earn. “I can tell you the salaries they’re drawing are substantially lower than what was recommended,” he said.

GLOBAL VILLAGE

Trinity’s reach is truly awesome. In addition to broadcasting into most every American home, it arrives via satellite on TVs in Russia, Spain, Portugal, the Middle East, Central Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Brazil, and, oh, many more places. It even broadcasts in Arabic and Farsi.

It produces films. Owns theme parks in Florida and Tennessee. Has a private jet and dozens of homes. The Crouches, once aligned with Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, have had their own brushes with scandal (a wrongful-termination and sexual-harassment lawsuit against Paul Crouch was settled in 1998 for $425,000), but people the world over apparently love them.

Why? In a 2004 story, the Los Angeles Times quoted Crouch telling viewers that God was essentially open to quid pro quo. If they did their part to advance his kingdom - say, by donating money to TBN - they shouldn’t be shy about asking for rewards.

“If my heart really, honestly desires a nice Cadillac … would there be something terribly wrong with me saying, ‘Lord, it is the desire of my heart to have a nice car … and I’ll use it for your glory?’,” the Times quoted Crouch as saying. “I think I could do that and in time, as I walked in obedience with God, I believe I’d have it.”

And what’s not to like about that?

Its true. The R4J up until this point has not done much publically except for this blog and the Videos. Nothing was done at th eLong Beach meetings. nothing was done at the Union city meeting. It's probable that nothing will be done in Dallas. However, the blog, the videos, have been valuable with informing all. The only issue I have is the anonymous posting. I mean, why hide if you're trying to Stand? Imagine Dr. MLK Jr. or Rosa Parks, or others in the Civil rights movement doing so anonymously. It would be of little effect. Same here.

Henry,

The J.Suber preaching can be applied to the R4J. Many, including the blogmaster, have opposed R4J for merely using the name "Revolutionary". J.Suber preaches that a Revolution is not what others think it secularly. It is obvious that spiritually a revolution is to "revolve around something to come full circle to the originality" (paraphrasing Suber). R4J is doing just that, seeking God in a different dimension and going back to our roots of the holy spirit, NOT man!

A stick and posterboard doesn't require large pockets. Chartering a bus does. What ever you are planning make it good because the GB is going to try to be one step ahead of any distraction that comes their way.

"reveal who you are" is another common thing on this blogspot. I agree that skotty should keep his idenity private. Apostolics always want to know who everybody is. this organization is so small you could almost guess who everyone on here is. haha!!

OMG!!!Why did you waste all the blog'n space?? Nobody really wanted to see all that info you published. It's ok I think you just wanted to make yourself feel like you had important info to bring to this blog.

ooh...my name on the list?! How scary. Now everyone on the blogspot is going to see my email address. are you serious?
You'll have to forgive me i'm trying not to take light of all the bloggers on here.I'm sure we'll all see the magic soon!wink! wink!

can someone post the current email addresses for the general board, as well as staff members from the main offices in rancho cuckoo-munga?

Maaano,

Are you serious? Just go to the AA website and look under contact info yourself. Or ask your pastor i'm sure he has all that info. Or better yet call HQ. they will be happy to assist you with that information.

fedupwithdeceit said...

As mundane as it may seem, I seriously doubt they will be willing to share that information. Don't you keep a list of all your co-workers e-mail addresses? Please share!

Mano,
It is is worth a try. Let us know if they give you the third degree for asking.

Remember to dial *67 before you call them so you can remain anonymous

To ThinkFirst,
Yes I am serious. Personal email addresses for the GB are not posted on the AA website.

And no, if you call in to request that information they will definitely not give that kind of information away.

So besides ThinkFirst, does anyone else have this information?

Thanks muchachos.

maaano,

just scroll up a few post and MAGICLLY all the current Gb memebers and staff "personal email address" will appear. Just don't forget to say abrah-cah-dab-rah!!

Question the results of the 2006 Election, get Excommunicated.

But:

Committ Sexual Battery "AGAINST THE WILL AND FOR THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF SEXUAL AROUSAL, SEXUAL GRATIFICATION AND SEXUAL ABUSE".

...and get to remain as Pastor of the Apostolic Assembly Church in El Centro.

Reference:

The People of the State of California, Plaintiff

vs.

Armando Fierro Barrientos, Defendant.

Superior Court of Califorina, County of Imperial.

Case Number: CCM20119

Looks like another Apostolic Assembly Minister will be making it to the Megan's Law Sexual Predator Website.

REPORTS FROM THE IMPERIAL VALLEY ARE THAT THE VICTIMS OF MR BARRIENTO'S HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING TO THE AA LEADERS. THE AA, HAS NEITHER INVESTIGATED NOR REPORTED BARRIENTOS TO THE AUTHORITIES.

HOW IS IT THAT THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY FOUND GROUNDS TO CHARGE MR BARRIENTOS AFTER HIS INVESTIGATION?

AT THE PRESENT TIME, THE APOSTOLIC ASSEMBLY, VIA APOSTOLICASSEMBLY.ORG HAS MR BARRIENTOS LISTED AS A PASTOR.

IN NOT REPORTING SEXUAL CRIMES, THE AA HAS POSSIBLY BECOME A CO-CONSPIRATOR IN THE CRIME BY ACTING TO SQUELCH AND COVER UP HIS CRIMES.

SANCHEZ, VALVERDE, PRADO, PACHECO, DEL CAMPO, MAFFEY ARE A SHAME TO THE CHURCH.

THEY SHOULD ALL RESIGN FOR NOT ACTING.

HOW MANY VICTIMS MUST BE SEXUALLY ABUSED BEFORE THE APOSTOLIC ASSEMBLY CHURCH TAKES ACTION?

IT APPEARS THAT SEX CRIMES ARE PERMITTED BEHAVIORS IN THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH. THEY DON'T GET INVESTIGATED OR REPORTED.

SANCHEZ, VALVERDE, PRADO, DEL CAMPO, ESPINOZA, AND MAFFEY ARE ALLOWING AND HAVE ALLOWED WHOREMONGERING IN OUR CHURCH.

WHEN WILL ENOUGH BE ENOUGH????

You will be looked at as being malcontent bunch, if it hasn’t already happen to you!
Stay firm, they local district officials will try to intimidate you with the usual dose of
How dare you speak ill against the men of GOD??

Here in L.A. we went through the same thing, except the tyrant WAS THE BISHOP!!!

Valverde and Sanchez came to talk to the 90% of the congregation (the other 10% his Royal Family and Goons) and instead of addressing the issues they came to tell us to repent from our REBELIOUS SPIRIT……. SOUND FAMILIAR??
Now I see them do the same thing but to the whole assembly, you won’t get these people to reconsider their decisions, why because they profess to be men of GOD but in reality are nothing but empty suits….

porq said...

I contend that the AA 8 DGB men are standing on 1 leg ONLY. That is
and was the TRUTH has forsook them,
the leg remaining is so feeble, it represents INTEGRITY but it's also going to abandon them. All because they chose NOT to bend their knees in prayer, much less in repentance.

I declare they will FALL in time...

Then WE can/will ALL have pity for them and will find it in our hearts
to PRAY for them and FORGIVE them!!
