This makes me kind of nervous. My first time here, but I can't stand it any longer. I just have to say this. Pastor Valverde seems very worried to me. He told me and other leaders that we shouldn't talk to brother Vince. I wonder why he would do that. I don't believe the AA or the AWA have much of a future nor do I believe they have much to offer their constituents. Why do I say this? Neither organization has a high view of scripture. Their main method of retention is to keep you emotionally charged.
The best advice I could offer anyone would be, attend a church where The Word of God is preached without compromise (wherever that may be). Jesus said, ‘My words are spirit and life”.
Both organizations have a tendency to preach only to your senses. They want to “motivate” you, but not “mature” you. They want to “excite” you, but not “excel” you. They want to “stimulate” you, but not “strengthen” you.
I guess it’s easier to give after you’ve been emotionally stirred.
I will be starting a “School of Ministry” in the near future. I will keep folks updated. I will post more information as it develops.

The church has been programmed to live and follow what is acceptable to those that govern over an organization. I believe that God's purpose for humanity especially those who would follow him is to work together as a team and not for one or some to make all the calls. I believe a local church should have an overseer (pastor) to guide it but not a dictator! Some say we should be accountable! To what? A partisan ruling of men (GB) that eventually will impair a human being by substantially limiting he/she spiritually and pschologically from doing the will of God! NO! I refused for that to happen in my life. I have known no other church than the AA. I was literally born under the pews. When my eyes were finally open and I saw the "light" and I allowed God to release me from religion and tradition then I begin to live the life Christ intended for me to live. I will never look back!

There is no way that the AA so called mega churches can continue to survive because so many of their members are either getting ready to leave or already leaving.
You can’t be a General Board member and have ministers from your local church truly respect you. They know down deep inside you can’t be trusted and the congregation members are also beginning to see! How can you continue congregating in their church knowing all they have done!!
Everyone here has to admit that at minimum, there was a big APPEARANCE of fraud!
When Sanchez, Valverde and the rest of the board members were snikering and laughing at those presenting thier concerns...that snikering was directed at each individual member of the AA who had no way of being represented.
We were the ones that were being made a mockery of, we were the ones to made out to be fools.
Each of the 45,000-50,000 Apostolic Assembly members were being mocked and being laughed at by the board members. We were the ones that lost all trust and belief that our leaders were men of integrity.

The GB churches will start closing and reopen as incorporated churches because they can't sustain their mortgage payments! People will be begin to leave the AA.

I came in to take care of some matters before I return to D.C., but I did take a look at the letter composed by Abel Torres. I dare say that it is unbelievable that the Apostolic Assembly would let a man with such talent get away. Incredible talent! What a dinstinctly clear insight he provides for all readers. Someone from New England may contact him to ask about utilizing his writing talents. HIERARCHY! That is exactly what the Boston Tea Party was about. Our forefathers detested taxation wihtout representation. It seems rather clear to me that hierarchy is basically the same problem the Apostolic Assembly members are face with today. It is similar to taxation without representation. The GB makes all the decisions regarding the amount of coutas they levee on all the congregations. The Bishops, the Pastors, and all the AA members don't have a choice. Should someone organize a Cucamonga Tea Party? Keep writing Torres. Hierarchy? Hmph! Superior animals? Very interesting! For sure, it is superior writing!

For the salaries the gb command, can they even put together a simple letter in English?? I seriously doubt it.
There is no surprise at all that the assembly makes no attempt to embrace the talents and skills of individuals, UNLESS there is a financial benefit involved. Able Torres was more of a risk factor than he was an asset, and so he was thrown out.
What this clearly indicates is that the assembly is a money machine or a mafia like organization where all the money made by it's feeble workers makes it's way to the top and eventually into the hands of a few powerful and deceitful men. If you disrupt this flow you will find yourself (metaphorically speaking) thrown into the trunk of a car by the very men that you were loyal to all your life - just like the mafia.
Don't be deceived by the "conventions", "prayer sessions", "seminars" that are held by these very powerful men. These are just PR events that attract people, and the more people you can attract the more money flows to the top. If they can stimulate you and impress you through eloquent prayers, fancy sermons and state of the art power-point presentations, then they know you will be willing to open your pockets.
As you all have seen, they don't want your talent they want your money. And if you stand in the way, they'll break your knees with a bat - mafia style.

I must say alot came to mind...
Hierarchy, animal kingdom terms used by this man of God. And correctly so.
However, as much as I hate the aa as an organization and agree with this author, he was just as much a part of the "HIERARCHY."
The system has always been corrupt, even when the author of said letter was bishop...
You can't say you never knew what was happening. Why didn't this "MAN OF GOD" leave a long time ago? Its always been a "HIERARCHY" why call it that now?
The author stated himself that he always followed the rules of the aa (HIERARCHY). Now we're upset about the double standards? And point fingers at that pastor with the building under his name? Excuse me but I'm sure the "HIERARCHY" had alot to do with the majority of ministers and pastors of the aa including the author of this letter! Other wise many of these uncalled ministers and pastors wouldn't come close to a pulpit.
Just like the tree of the knowledge of good and evil have the same root, so does the AA and AWA!

Honestly I do not think the issue is a person having his name on the church title. I think it is that he was in clear violation of the AA constitution.
Even though he had that going against him he was qualified to run for a position on the national board. While being in violation. The distinguished President (sarcasm for those who are unable to read between the lines)! Still qualified him to run and disqualified other members who clearly were following the constitution to the very t.
Even though the President tried to run him no one wanted him because we were clear of all the violations he was committing.

Here is where I begin to question motives, Why didn't Bishop Torres make an issue out of Joel Montes while he was bishop?
They ran Valverde for so long as well. See I could never be a part of something if its violating its own rules...Its about integrity.
I know Abel Torres did not wake up and realize the aa is a "HIERARCHY." So now hes going to bash it? He was a bishop! By the same system! It was all dirty politics on their side as well!
Don't get me wrong, I agree with what he said! However, he lost his credibility. Because the Assembly has been a HIERARCHY since Nava, and Bishop Torres was well aware of this. Bishop Baldemar was a part of this HIERARCHY also. And Solomon.
I believe Bishop Torres was fine with the HIERARCHY system until 2006. I believe it was all about politics but it back fired on them. There are many like Joel Montes, who serve as Elders, Bishops and Pastors. I'm 100% sure his father had something to do with his "calling" is that not a HIERARCHY? Would Joe Mendoza be a pastor/bishop if there was no HIERARCHY? His son's also thanks to big Willie! Just like the Aguilar's, Aguire's, Romo's, Montes etc. This cancer is terminal! Its spread throughout the organization. But its ok as long as it benefits me right?

I too have known my colleague Bishop Torres and his precious parents for many years and I can definitely vouch for what "justice" says. Bishop Torres has long fought the system within the AA many, many times through the years before everything came to a head and sometimes on his own because others were too afraid to speak up. To know Bro. Torres is an honor. I only wish I were as brave. God bless him.

I don't think Abel Torres has lost credibility because he spoke up during the elections.
The reason he spoke up is because he was selected to hold a position in the election process that obligated him to say something if he saw any kind of irregularities. It was his assigned duty. It was the function of his role.
By him speaking up only makes him even more credible because every other person in his same role pretended like nothing happened. Yet he was the sole person remaining true to his assigned role in the election process.
So as pastor, he fullfiled his role to his church, as bishop he fullfiled his role to his distric, in the election he fullfiled his role to the organization.
what we have here is a man who takes his duties seriously. if you assign him something, expect him to get 'er done .
Jesse I suppose the winners here are the souls who are being "recruited" by the different organizations in an attempt to better each other. Hopefully its not just to rake in more tithes and ofrendas. Also I am fully aware that he is the one who "pulled the covers" about "Two Vote Eddie." However, Bishop Torres was still a part of this "HIERARCHY" his whole life.

He also worked very hard from local youth president, to sector, to district youth president (and if you were here in those times you should know he was voted unanimously most times). He was also an elder, then a bishop NOT like some of those on the gb who ascended to their high paying positions without proper qualifications. I am new to this blog. I decided to post something after I read Abel Torres' letter on AA.info.
It saddens me to know that the AA spent $39,000 dollars on legal fees against Bro. Torres. Good to know that the judge saw right through them. while Torres may have been cleared, the AA membership lost.
It is unfortunate for the membership, but when will the membership learn. When they give offerings, tithes and perform numerous amounts of fundraiser for the General board they condone their lawsuits and other unethical behavior.
The bible is explicitly clear that church members should not be taking one another to court, but the AA is engaging in large number of lawsuits.
My advice to the AA membership is stop giving the AA money and the GB cannot fund their litigations; however, continue to give money then the AA mmebership deserves the shame that is brought upon them.
God bless and I hope the AA membership figures this out because they are the one who have to live with the embarrassment.

Last evening we were commenting, some of us that have been in the church more than 60 years and we were bringing to memory on the old church of El Siloe, who was "stolen from Pastor David Pantages by A. C. Nava (Foundation)., and that church reminds us now, of the church that V-verde "rules" and controls in Fontana.
That church of El Siloe at 70l south Ferris avenue in East Los Angeles was the "Renown" church with Nava being the Pastor and the "PRESIDENTE".
He did not allow (Nava) any other church in the HUGE METROPOLITAS OF THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES PROPER" to be established.
Only (Jim town) now West Whittier, Watts, (now Compton). Only and only those.
El Siloe originally was on 14th., street in L. A. now overwhelmed by the Coca Cola Company 14th., and Central avenue.
But when Nava "saw" that a larger church building was now part of the congregation of the East L.A., Nava "had removed" by false acusations, Pastor David Pantages.
Nava took over that building of what was then named "La Hermosa", removed its name to El Siloe and took over the "La Hermosa" congregation and combined the others from El Siloe on 14th., street.
We all thought "well it really happened and Pastor Pantages really needed to be "ousted".
But now that we "know better". we know that Nava had "done the same thing to Pastor Lupe Lara, who had a very large well established and well organized congregation in down town L.A. Pastor Lara was also a "VICTIM' OF FALSE ACCUSATIONS. (MAFIA) SPIRITUAL MURDERS!
So now Valverde is {playing the same old game that we "unfortunately know tooooooo well"
Same "old demons" and now these "poor brethren from Fontana" WHO DO NOT KNOW THE HISTORY OF THE

La noche pasadoa estabamos algunos de nosotros Apostolicos que tenemos mas de 60 anos en la Asamblea Apostolica.
Haciendo un analises de lo que esta pasando con los de la Mesa Directiva actual, especial mente con Valverde.
Hemos considerado lo que ante pasado paso en el templo de el primer El Siloe aqui en California.
Parece que comparando ambas iglesias la de el Siloe y de Fontana., podemos ver algo parrello!
En aquellos anos de los 30 el Pastor Lupe Lara tenia una congregation grande, bien organizada., y que aun ahora muchos de los nietos de aquellos hermanos todavia estan en la Asamblea.
Nava por acusacion falsa "removio al Pastor Lupe Lara., y tomo la congregacion de el Pastor Lara.
Tambien Nava tomo anos despues el edificio de que era un templo "La Hermosa" tambien por acusacion falsa removio al Pastor de La Iglesia La hermosa, Pastor David Pantages.
Nava tomo tambien esa congregacion, cambio de sitio de la Iglesia de El Siloe por la calles 14 y Central en Los Angeles., y se mudo para el este de Los Angeles tomando la congregacion de el Pastor David Pantages.
Esa Iglesia de El Siloe tenia mas de 400 miembros. Nava no permetia que se estableciera otras iglesias en la ciudad de Los Angeles. Solo en la vencidad de West Whittier, que entonces se llamaba "Jim Town".
Tambien habia otra congregacion solamente en Watts , que ahora es Compton.
Valverde tiene ese mismo espiritu.
Hermano Vincent Alvarez., le rogamos en el nombre de Jesus que ya no sea usted un "JUNIOR",
que se salga de esa sombra de ese mal hombre Valverde.
Esa iglesia de Fontana quedara desolada tambien como ahora esta la que anos pasados era la Iglesia de El siloe, que ahora es pastoreada por un individio immdura, insolente, con el espiritu de solo "deacono".
Pero alli lo tienen en una iglesia sola desolada, vacia.. El Siloe,
Sanchez lo tiene alli para poder refinanciar esa propiedad mas de 10 veces!

Hace algun par de meses escribi en este blog bajo diferente nombre, pero ahora uso el de Atalaya.
La vez anterior dirigi mi comentario hacia mis colegas (pastores) y les pedi que vieran sobre el Articulo 5 de nuestra constitucion.
El Articulo 5, inciso 2 dice de la siguente manera:
II. La Comision Calificadora tomara en cuenta, de aquellos ministros que hayan obtenido un mayor numero de votos, su capacidad, idoneidad y derecho, y aprobara de dos a cinco de ellos como candidatos. De entre estos ultimos la asamblea de pastores escogera mediante el voto, si no hubiere inconvenientes de los previstos en la presente Constitucion, hasta que uno de ellos obtenga una mayoria simple.
Mis comentarios no seran si respetaron el voto o no. De antemano sabemos que nuestro voto fue en vano. Me voy a concretar en los que es Capacidad, Idoneidad y Derecho.
Las eleciones del 2006 y los problemas que nos ocasionado hasta el dia hoy. El Presidente Daniel Sanchez se jacta que el escogiio lo mejor de lo mejor (como quien dice la crema y nata de la Asamblea)como estaremos los demas.
Espero empezar en esta ocasion y terminar con el proposito que yo y otros pastores tenemos como objectivo, de analizar estos puntos y hacerlos llegar a los demas pastores por medio de este conducto.
Empezemos:
Quiero Analizar la Capacidad del Vice-Presidente Samuel Valverde. La del Presidente Daniel Sanchez lo dejamos para otra ocasion.
Samuel Valverde, no dice mucho pero como esta involucrado en todos los aspectos de nuestra Asamblea.
Alrededor del 2005 en una conjunta de Obispos se aprobo que hubuera un comite de Bienes y Raices (Real Estate Department) al cual se le pagaria como cien mil dolares al ano por poner en orden las propiedades de la asamblea y los P&L (Profit and Loss) de las iglesias. Puedo decir que Samuel Valverde, Andrew Rodriguez Y Nat Ochoa han trabajado muy duro en este proyecto. Pero hasta hoy en dia no han logrado poner en orden todas las propiedades y mucho menos los P&L's.
Pastores Cien Mil del Aguila y por ano y no pueden. Estamos hablando de casi de Medio Millon de dolares hasta la fecha. Y oigo decir que tambien toma comisiones (puntos) de las transaciones que ellos hacen dentro de la propiedades de la asamblea. Y obviamente estos dos hermanos asisten a la iglesia de Samuel Valverde. Esto era para que la Asamblea tuviera mejores opciones antes los bancos y haci mejorar la economia de la asamblea.
Creo que esa opcion la tuvo el ahora que construyo su templo y tambien la de primo incomodo.
Otro punto:
Samuel Valverde, ha estado al frente de las ultimas convenciones generales (por lo menos del 2005 a la mejor mas) pero el caso es que en la mayoria de esta convenciones el prosupuesto que el ha hecho para costear las convenciones no le ha calculado bien. El comite sale en rojo (PERDIDAS) y no son 20 o 30 mil dolares, pastor usted y yo ya hubieramos pagado nuestro templo.
Pastores muy pronot continuare con mas fallas del Vice Presidente.
Pero recordemos que estos es lo mejor de lo mejor de acuerdo a nuestro Presidente.
La idea es de analizar a cada uno de nuestro actuales dirigentes. Lo cual quiere decir que todavia falta mucho.

Valverde a few weeks ago made a very serious and urgent announcement from HIS PODIUM to the Sisters of his congregation where he "controls' lies and munipulates".
That the sisters in his congregation at Fountain of Trouble, should go to his $3 million dollar home. And he would "personally" give the sister pedicures and manicures on their feet and nails.
And that he would not "charge them any monies. Because he is in such a "dire" need to pay the "fraudulent" Made up morgage payment to his so called "Gymnasium" and the money the sisters would "save" on pedicures and manicures the sisters can bring it to the offering collecting of the "forever building fund" and therefore the $80,000.00 monthly payment could be benefited.

First our Thursday night worship service was cancelled for cell groups. That didn't work. Then our Our prayer and Bible study Tuesday night was cancelled for cell groups. That didn't work either. All the claims that the cell groups were jammed packed was all a lie. We got one person from the cell groups that came to regular church Pants make up rings the works. Everybody has just about left because they were hungry for church, not friendship groups.
And the pastor's still wonders why there is no revivial. Everybody has gone cold due to the fact that there is no church. Just the two hour Sunday morning worship service. I complained to the Bishop, but all he said was thats what the General Board wanted and I guess he is too afraid of the
godly Eight to go against them even if the churches in his district are fallng apart, due to the fact of uncaring lazy Pastors.
Gracias por la observacion "thought for today" tome ese nombre porque el Atalaya era el que anunciaba desde la torre del fuerte (fort) quien estaba por llegar, si era amigo o enemigo. Por su observacion creo que usted ya sabia la definicion del Atalaya, pero solo para tratar de aclarar el porque del nombre.
En esta ocasion yo creo alertar a mis colegas (pastores) que tenemos algunos enemegos entre nosotros. Ellos no vienen ya estan entre nosotros. Y para ser mas claros lo que si viene dentro de un ano es un presidente (Samuel Valverde) y su grupo de amigos y no muy amigos pero quieren hueso (puesto), si no hacemos algo al respecto.
El dia de ayer escribi algunos datos sobre Samuel Valverde. Uno de ellos era sobre las convenciones donde por las ultimas 4 o 5 convenciones el a sido el presidente del comite.
Cuando comente que en cada de esas convenciones han salido en deficit, dije que los numeros rojos eran como 30 mil dolares. Bueno al decir verdad esos numeros realmente son como de $300,000.00 a $400,000.00 dolares.
Estos es por convencion, si no me creen pidanle que le ensenen los libros. Los numeros no mienten.
Recordando un poco en el pasado:
Alrededor del ano 97 o 98 en una convencion en Anaheim, CA los hijos de Samuel Valverde cometieron algunos danos al cuarto del hotel, los danos llegaron como a $600.00 o $700.00 dolares. Estos danos no los pago Samuel Valverde sino la Asamblea.

Brothers like you and others that that know things must reveal things , so that the general membership can see for once what their hard earned money has been going for. Paying for damages of the offspring and looking the other way of the dirty things their offspring are up too.
All the wasteful ways money has been spent in trips, even supposely box seats for sporting events.
Only the low lifes in any given culture exploit the ones with lesser means.
