You should have been more careful. You should have focused more on Christ, than your Assembly. Don’t try using Jesus for your cause now. We have seen that scheme and are aware of its motives.
You have become like Judas and become only aware of the “places” that Christ went but were unfamiliar with His “person”. You may have used the term “ Apostolic” but you were distant from its genuine message.

The Truth: Why don't we ask one of the candidates Joel Montes from Houston,Tx who with the help of the GB ran for office in 2006 but the pastors rejected him. Let's see if he is going to abide to the new AA law. That church has been under the name of the "Quiroz" clan since day 1. I doubt Joel is going to change it now. Our pastor had a meeting with our church to confirm we will be leaving the assembly, beginning 2010, due to the GBs actions. He showed the congregation the letter, and I personally read it! It's true what THE TRUTH wrote the end of the AA is near.
It is also my understanding our church will be joining an organization called the AWA. Please pray for us as we FINALLY come out of such a suppresive, organization. God bless! ;-]

Our congregation here in southern CA is doing the same thing. We are tired of all the financial commitments with the AA. We are renting so it will be easier for us. We are already incorporated locally so there is nothing the AA can do to us. No doubt about it. This is the way to go.

OMG!!! I can't believe the GB is that STUPID to have sent a threatening letter to the pastors such as the one they recently sent regarding church properties and diezmos. Pastors and their congregations are fed up and now it seems the EXODUS is about to take place. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING???? I guess they just want to get rid of ALL of US!!
The plan has always been; only the strong will survive. The small churches will be swallowed up and dismantled by the AA leadership. Merge, monopolize and swallow up the small churches, mission churches. Gather the people into the larger churches(more tithe money for the mega- churches). If there are small churches with property, they are to be sold and the monies go to the larger churches(more money for the mega-churches). These small church missions and small churches are thorns on the sides of the mega-church pastors.
All a vision of Sam Valverde. He personally told me this about 10 years ago and said it again over the years to me even up to 2 years ago. How was he able to get Sanchez and the rest to go along with HIS idea? I don't know!
According to my observation of the financial status of the AA before I left the GB offices; the mega-churches of the AA are suffering real bad financially right now with the exception of one church in Northern California.
Sam's plan when he became president was to merge all the small churches into the larger regional mega-churches and close down the mission churches and small 50-250 member churches. He indicated many of the pastor's had no business being pastor's anyway.
He showed lack of respect for most pastor's(95%). He told me that as soon as he became AA(arrogant assumption) president there would be a mass removal of most pastors. He personally told me this over the last 15 years and even up to a year ago, so I have to believe he is taking advantage of the situation to bring this to pass!
Well it's finally coming to pass!
I know of at least 5 churches in northern california that HAVE already decided to leave the AA by january 1, 2010. I heard it in a pastor's meeting that was held by about 10 churches. The other 5 were seriously considering leaving, and now with this letter, I KNOW THEY WILL BE GONE ALSO!
WOW, the GB of the AA are a bunch of uneducated, idiots. Talk about incompentence. Unbelieavable how low they will stoop.

O.K you mean to tell me that my great - grandpa's hard working money invested to build our church. My grandpa's hard earning money that was invested to help expand our church. My father's hard working money that was invested to to remolded our church and all the families through the years that have given of their time and money. These families have given to the church first instead of sending their kids to college. All the energy sweat from 5 generations. So the board can come and tell you what is best for them. What has the board done or given to us. A head-ache.
Our church has giving to our community, to our public schools, given to the homeless, provided shelter at times. Our church has been a refuge for those single battered woman. A shelter for men in need of recovery from drugs and alcohol.
All this will be taken away by a bunch of men that are just sitting in their lounged chairs raking in hundred of thousands of dollars in salaries. Scratching their belly buttons coming up with Ideas on how to milk the churches for more money.
God have mercy on their souls.

It seems that you talking parallel to what Pastor Torres wrote about the Animal Kingdom. The GB is applying evolution principles with the "survival of the fittest" attitude they have. I am sure God will make them pay for the destruction they have caused.
If nobody can produce proof of this letter, then it is false. If your pastors are showing it to you, and are planning to leave the assembly, why wouldn't they let you make a copy or scan it? Seriously, if you can't produce in a few days, then it's fake.
The letter is out there - go to your Pastor and ask him to confirm or deny it... if he does not, then he is either part of the problem or you are.

Blue, STA is right that letter is out there. Have you thought of contacting your bishop,elder or another pastor other than yours? Ask if you could see it if not ask if someone can make you a copy.I got mine from one of the elders. You need to be a litle more persistant afterall if you're a faithful member it's going to affect you as well.

STA, I can answer your question and you might not agree, but I don't want to make a move yet because a part of me wants to see the apostolic assembly shut down for good. There's no doubt I want to leave my church and and the whole assembly for that matter. Already been looking for churches. But some weird part of me wants to see an end to this. And that letter brings that end closer I think. Anyway, sounds weird, but I have family that I'd not want to leave behind, I want them to change their thinking too. So you don't know me and you may not agree, but I have good reasons. But I agree with you that Pastors are servants and not mob bosses as some act like now. That's why I'm on this blog, just to see the end. I can also use that letter to "save" my family from the oppressive apostolic churches. That's all. You shouldn't be so quick to attack people you don't even know. No disrespect, but we all want to see the same thing: the end.
Conventions as we knew them are OVER!

Yes conventions as we knew them are over. We use to have a 5 day budget of about $280,000.00 at it's very peak. Yes that is not a misprint. That's what we would blow in a five day Thanksgiving convention.
It was done without any conscious. We paid for overtime for all of us GB office worker's, copier equipment purchased, extra staffing, meeting rooms, honorariums, presidential palace suites for entire GB bishops and friends($1200 a day suites), chocolate covered strawberries, sandwiches or fruit trays every night at $300 each, all meals, expenses for entire GB families, security, large rental trucks vehicles to move GB offices to the convention hotel...on and on!
Can you imagine the poor hermano's who came from out of state and barely had enough money for their hotel room and very little for food?
Oh but the general board is living it up in luxury on their poor people's dime!!
But they charged admission at the end. And those big ofrendas they collected.
I heard that good old shower boy Rick Ramirez tried to apply with the AWA and got rejected !!!!
Ahhh the ole ofrendas - that was the day when you would wait for the offering time and go out to the lobby and mingle for 1-2 hours then come back in and have to listen to Manuel Vizzcara monotone voice rock you to sleep...
Yes. The offerings took about two hours and all the young people would leave to the lobby and it would be packed outside.
Offering time was social time in the lobby for the young people.
The ushers would be trying to get them back in service, but they would lose control. WOW!

While in the AA, one thing I noticed was that the General Board and their "staff" treated themselves well. I remember back in the day when I spoke with a pastor of a small AA church and he told me everything he had to do to make it to convention. The pastor worked to support his family, while the church tithes and offerings were barely, and sometimes he had to pay out of pocket, enough to cover church bills.
The pastor told me that he was mandated to attend conventions. The man paid for his hotel room and gas out of his pocket. In order to reduce cost, the pastor would buy food from the grocery store to feed his family. They had to do this in order to save money; however, the GB and Staff would be living it up like kings.
Sometime back I had heard that some of that the convention coordinators received commissions from the hotels. I heard those commission checks were between $20,000 and $40,000. I often wonder why the GB allowed for this to happen when some pastors were barely surviving.
Based on this, all I can infer about the AA and staff is simply one thing: "THEY HAVE NO SHAME" I hope the GB is changing their ungodly ways or I pray for the demise of the organization.

Well toward the end we were spending rediculous amounts of money for many GB and staff perks that it was in excess of a 1/4 of a million dollars for 5 days of convention. People's eyebrows were starting to rise. It was very top secret except amongst the GB.
The Assembly sent letters to the pastor's telling them that their congregations were to send them to the convention, all expenses paid. The problem is that many congregations didn't have the money so it was a double edge sword.
The local pastor's would rather not take the money because their funds were already pretty scarce.
In addition to all the other quotas imposed on the local congregation, every year all churches were required to send in a large offering via mail and prior to the time of the convention.
The congregations would pay this amount based on whether they were a small, medium or large church. Most pastor's would lie on the forms on the size of their congregations to stay within the lower ranks and pay less but it was still a lot of money, thousands of dollars.
But yes it was over a 1/4 of a million dollars for 5 days of convention political fun on everyone's dime!

i was a pastors son in the 80's. i remember many san diego conventions when our family and yes, we also gave rides to congregation members, would rent on the outskits of town for cheaper motel rooms. my mon would buy groceries, "con flakes" in the morning and we didn't eat untill late afternoon, boloney sandwiches we snuck back in the room. but dad would always past up in the offering and give his churches "quota". all the sacrifices my parents made, were for God and we as there children have been blessed by it. It saddens me that we had such a precious gift from God, His anionting "AA" but now His Presence has left. why should we go to Sion? if there is no anionting?
Dont you love the big spenders... As a kid my parents had to stretch every penny and take an igloo/cooler filled with cereal, sandwiches and the like, as we could not afford to go out for meals. My father wanted to honor the offering requests that they had which meant we stayed at all those "other" cheaper hotels. There was so much pressure from the big men to bring in the cash... - Pastors had to make sure that the big guys sitting on the stage saw them bring up there $1000 seed money...
The beautiful child-like faith (innocense) we had for over 100 years as an Assembly is all gone now.
Now every AA member, youth, dorca, minister, pastor, elder and bishop has to watch out for himself.
You can't give, donate or work with all your blood, sweat and tears because in the back of your mind you know the leaders of this organization are raping its people for the little money they have left.

Are you the one who used to work in the general offices? It is shocking to here about everything that has been done by the GB. How can people still continue with the AA after they have heard about everything that they have done?
The answer is one word : followers !
Too many people are too eager to be led by someone dynamic or an ideology.
We want to conform to a set of ideals or a belief system, we want to be a part of something.
To be disconnected from the AA to some is tantamount to being a heathen and lost.
We must all learn the scripture and God's will for ourselves instead of always following what someone taught or preached to us.

Worse than what was done to the Negroes in the South., and in the so called fraud elections of the Third World Countries.
But the AA elections ha....were done with supposely "fasting and praying", according to the "intructions" each clergy member receives from the fradulent bearer!!!! The HONORABLES!
It is obious that so much pressure was given to the Honorables that they change the convention to the month of September of 2010!!
So you see Pastors, it can be done..

My father's hard working money that was invested to to remolded our church and all the families through the years that have given of their time and money. These families have given to the church first instead of sending their kids to college. All the energy sweat from 5 generations. So the board can come and tell you what is best for them. What has the board done or given to us. A head-ache.
Our church has giving to our community, to our public schools, given to the homeless, provided shelter at times. Our church has been a refuge for those single battered woman. A shelter for men in need of recovery from drugs and alcohol.

A question was asked of a missionary - how much do they get during the holiday season as a gift from the "Assembly"... answer: usually a $500 check.
A question was once brought up to the GB... regarding the thousands of dollars that were raised via Flor Azul that was supposed to go to these hard working men, women and family on foreign soil... While they never answered, it is now known that of the MILLIONS that came in for Flor Azul - 65% went to administrative costs.
Just thought you'd like to know...
And most likely over half of those 65% went to the Board for salaries and their little perks they like to give themselves.

65% goes toward administrative cost of board members traveling overseas with family, (Flight,hotels,restaurants,excursions,etc...)
35% is split 50/50 between foreign missions and national evangelism.
In other words, the missionaries are only entitled to 17.0% of the "Flor azul" money.
That is according to my recollection of the "cooked" books.

The board members use the pretext that they are visiting the local and foreign missionaries to supervise in order to take elaborate vacations with family in foreign lands like (South America, Italy, Hawaii, New York, D.C., etc...) This is all part of the "Flor Azul" money budget. Ask any board member to what nations he has traveled? They have all been to some real exotic places you only dream of going. You hear them mention all the time how they were in South America or in Europe. All on your dime (Flor Azul). There is not one board member that has not been to a foreign land. I know because I have seen their expense reports.
What has been said is so true.
The GB has been mindless and without a second thought as to whose money they were spending have plundered God's money and the hard work of all the saints.
But like I say... it'll come back and get you in the end. Yes, that's right.. The Lord Himself says "vengence is mine".
I too have seen first hand the monetary abuse by the GB, I have to say that yes I've enjoyed some of the fruit. Never stayed in the suites but was able to see the extravagance and see with what flipancy they do what they do!
But this goes far back, past this present administration. I remember once Gaddy Vasquez, tossing in the air a half dollar as he gloated about how much money all the peon "staffers" were counting. My heart broke that day as I witnessed what truly motivated these people.
Yes and I remember when families were charged to go into the conventions. It was crazy. Families that could barely with great sacrifice get there. Shame, Shame, Shame on all those greedy people. "The LOVE of MONEY is the root of all evil"
Since not much money came into the Flor Azul this year. How about we all take time to find out the needs of the missionaries and their families.
These brethern truly suffer because while the GB is taking "missionary trip" and staying in luxury hotels our missionary brothers are trying to figure out how they're going to get by with the miserly salaries they're given.

We (general offices) would regularly deduct allowances for the missionaries based on large offerings the missionaries received directly from local churches.
The GB does not like individual members or local churches sponsoring or sending the missionaries money directly, period!
The GB loses control of the $$$ if you send money directly to the missionary field.
The GB requires all monies go through the headquarters!

What a shame it is to know that these so-called leaders whom we once looked up to and admired have let us down with all their deceit (by playing musical chairs and voting themselves into exorbitantly overpaid positions), greed of worldly things and the misuse of funds(those given from the heart and with sacrifice by all who thought they were actually being used for the Lord's work) and their hunger for power (not to look over God's people, but to make a fancy living for themselves).
Yes, deborah, it is sad that the innocence of the truly faithful has been downtrodden by these individuals who obviously have no love for us, and sadly no fear, love or respect for the Lord's work.

Las oficinas generales de la asamblea han ocupado a un hermano con el nombre de Eddie Campa, al parecer el es un pastor.
Aparte de que si uno no esta cumpliendo con los diezmos y otras mensualidades. Ahora debemos entregar un reporte detallado de todos nuestros gastos.
Yo recuerdo cuando el Obispo Maffey en las convenciones siempre exigia que las oficinas generales dieran un reporte de todos los gastos de las oficinas, y ahora el no dice ni PILLO.
Pero ahora nos van a exigir que nosotros si entregemos informes de nuestras transaciones.
Samuel Valverde esta preparando el camino para poder ser un dictador dentro de nuestra asamblea. Todos nuestros movimientos van ha ser monitoriados por medio de los estados de cuenta del banco, que ahora van a recibir o pueden exigir al banco sin nuestro permiso.
Porque creen que quieren que todos hagamos negocio con el banco Wells Fargo, porque es el banco que maneja la iglesia de Fontana, CA donde es pastor Samuel Valverde.
Tenemos los dias contados dentro de nuestra asamblea como pastor. Ni el IRS actua con tal riguidez cuando uno se atrasa con los impuestos.
Otro dato importante:
En los ultimos meses se han salido de nuestra asamblea mas de diez iglesias (pastores). Por ejemplo, en area del Norte de Texas (Dallas / Fort Worth) al parecer ya hay mas iglesias de la Alianza Apostolica que de la asamblea. Muchos de ellos ex-pastores de nuestra asamblea.
Porque no nos mandan cartas asi como lo han hecho cuando nos avisaron que el Hno. Baldemar Rodriguez, Daniel Solomon, etc,etc,. los destituyeron de nuestra asamblea.
Mi punto es, que estos directores que tenemos manejan la informacion de acuerdo a su conveniencia.
Los siguientes meses son cruciales para nuestros ministerios dentro de la asamblea o fuera de la asamblea. Andemos con cuidado y cuidensen a quien le hacen comentarios. Porque llega mucha informacion a las oficinas generales de lo que los pastores dicen y hacen.

Dear Apostolic Bretheren
There are many pastors and lay members who have left the Assembly. Why hasn't the General offices sent out a letter giving a list of these members. They know that if they publish a list many will follow.
The Assembly is setting up for the next Convention to "elect" fruadulently appoint a new board.
They will require pastors to come fasting and praying to the elections so that God can select a new board, but everybody knows what the outcome will be. Many of these pastors are barely making it financially, others are sickly and diabetic, they will be required to sacrifice, but for what? so that their vote will not get counted?
There are pastors all over the country that have left the Assembly and others are getting ready to leave in the beginning of the year.
God cannot bless the Assembly when there is an "accursed thing in the camp." The only way that God will return and bless the Assembly is if there is true repentance and confession, with the GB members resigning their illegal positions.
I challenge someone who can put together a list of the pastors who have left and post their names and contact information on this blog so that others can see and even contact them if they wish. There is a website in Northern California of pastors that have joined the AWA.

It seems that there is a great amount of distrust of the Pastors in the AA with the GB. It is a well known fact that many Pastors are preparing their accounts to make an exit very soon. The GB is aware of that. That is the reason they are trying to look at all the local church accounts. The GB is really helpless to do anything and they know it. They are just making a last ditch effort to save themselves, but the fat lady is already singing. The curtains are about to close on the AA.
The AA mega-churches and their finances are a ticking time bomb.
They are going into the red every month. If things don't turn around form them within 6 months to a year they will be brought to their knees.
Pray that they finally repent!

Most Pastors don't know which way is up. If they did, they would have done something about it. They choose to be slaves. They do nothing! I will not have pity on all those who need a dramatic remake of the Bakker's demise to put their adulation for fellow human beings in perspective. The AA was out of touch with reality years before many of you were born. From where I stand, I see unauthorized funneling of funds and closed-door investments gone wrong and now the house is coming down like Bernie Maddoff's ponzi scheme. If it barks and wags it's tail it's a dog. For those who confided in God not man, you will walk unscathed. Like unknowing millionaires the GB will sleep with one eye open for they know that they are fair game to those that come in the middle of the night. May justice be served. God dwells not in dwellings but is omnipresent. Only small minds could conceive of his entrapment like a magic geenie. Fantastical minds.

Una vez mas tomo este espacio para informar algunos puntos de interes de nuestra asamblea.
El punto que ahora quiero exponer es que no se nos a notificado nada sobre la finalidad de la demanda que la Asamblea hizo en contra del Pastor Guillermo Mendoza.
Me di a la tarea de tratar de entender un poco mas sobre este asunto. De antemano les digo que yo en lo particular no soy ni pretendo saber de leyes.
De acuerdo a lo poco que entendi, la Asamblea debe pagar al Hno. Mendoza cierta cantidad, cuanto no se. Se manejan varias cifras pero en realidad yo no tengo ese dato.
Pero lo interesante es que a lo que entiendo la Asamblea debe pagar ese dinero de la tesoreria de la Asamblea, la aseguranza no va pagar, porque la Asamblea demando y perdio el caso. Esto hace la aseguradora no tenga que ser responsable de pagar este dinero.
Como dije desconosco la cantidad pero si es medio millon, un millon, o la cantidad que sea. La directiva debe comunicar la cantidad, claro ellos van a decir que por cuestiones de la corte no pueden divulgar tal informacion.
Ese dinero sale directamente de nuestros diezmos o mas bien del pueblo apostolico.
Como ya andaba de investigador me di cuenta que Samuel Valverde realmente anda en problemas financieros para pagar su templo y por mas que trata de sacarle dinero al pueblo, el pueblo no le a respondido como el quiesiera. Samuel un comentario aunque tu digas que no aceptas la recesion que esta pasando el pais, estamos en recesion aunque no lo aceptes.
Hno. Sanchez usted dijo que usted habia escogido lo mejor de lo mejor, como quien dice la crema y nata de nuestra Asamblea. Samuel no pudo leer los tiempos y como quiera contruyo el templo y ahora tiene a toda la asamblea en jaque.

The history of the AA is coming to an end sooner than everybody expected! Who could predict that Sanchez, Valverde and company could make so many blunders? My source inside the offices told that the GB just gave themselves a raise! I guess that is why they were after the Flor Azul monies. Sanchez sent out a letter that no district should take out any money from Flor Azul. No wonder! He wanted to money to give himself a raise! What a mess the GB has!
I have to agree with CBG. I see many complaints here from laymen and pastors, yet they insist on being a part of the AA.
The fact that you complain and yet are still a part of the AA discredits your concerns and your conviction.
It is like working for Enron even after understanding that what they're ultimately doing is robbing you.
So yes, I'd have to agree, you're a dumb-ass for fellowshipping with the very people you're complaining about. And "dumb-ass" is Biblical by the way.
I hear that a good number of Pastors and their congregations are fed up with what is going on and they are leaving around the beginning of the year. Some of them have church properties in the name of the AA, but they are willing to leave them behind just to get away from the slavery of the GB. Does anyone know what areas of the AA this will happen in? We already hear that the AWA has more pastors and members in the Dallas area than the AA. This is amazing! I hear that the AWA is just a fellowship, but all the congregations are locally incorporated. They don't have to send Tithes to the GB; no Flor Azul; no Mano a Mano; and none of all the other commitments that have to be sent in the AA. No threatening letters are sent to the Pastores either in the AWA. No wonder people are choosing the AWA over the AA.
