Have you not seen the Rodney King Video? It doesn't matter what the video shows, they were found not guilty.
Do you realize that a very well respected group of pastors just tried to sue our Beloved Assembly and ended up losing their churches. You think our leaders are going to listen to a few foul mouthed, name calling, disrespectful noobs? I think not! You must realize one thing; the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus, Inc.(Texas and California) has the legal system behind them.
You can't fight City Hall. I am surprised they sued. I am surprised that some of these pastors are apologizing. "I'm sorry for pointing out how the AA and its constituents were defrauded from a fair election, can I have my church back"? But I do understand why they are apologizing: It is their livelihood at stake. That is very unfortunate because most of these pastors have nothing else to fall back on.
I did read Sister Rita Solomon's letter over on AA.info. She is very well respected, intelligent and well spoken. She articulated very well her feelings and emotions through her ordeal. The anxiety, the unknowing, the embarrassment, the humiliation, the frustration of trying to do what was right and being told you where wrong, the lack of clarity as to what the future holds, being called rebellious. As Bill Clinton said, "I feel your pain".
Now you know what countless other pastors wives, who where excommunicated and removed while your husband was on the General Board and stood their and said nothing, feels like. Welcome to the real world. And I do say that with the utmost respect and admiration for you and your husband's ministry...but it had to be said. This type of politics has been bred in our Assembly, many generations have been through this. You held the reigns and did nothing to change this, not only did you do nothing to change this, you fostered this corruption. You lived high of the hog and now the hog has turned and kicked you out of the pen.
You are free now, there is no need to come back. What are you going to come back to? Its easier to see how dirty things are when your not rolling around in it. Run free and be clean no one can hold property over your head anymore. All the other pastors are held hostage by their properties. John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. The truth is that Jesus did not intend for pastors to be slaves to an organization. An organization that can do what it wants, when it wants to whom in wants in the name of Jesus. Pastor's do not realize that they are held captive because of the structure of the AA. It controls the property therefore holds captive its pastors. I may not be Bible scholar but I don't think this is what God intended. It breeds corruption, pride of the flesh.

If you want to really affect change, you must change from within. Lose the slang, lose the hostility, put on a tie and a suit and STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED. Speak clearly, assertively and with the peace and kindness of Christ. You must grow into a position of respect and admiration, then...when you hold the reigns, you must not let the power go to your head. You must be a giver, not selfish and look out for future generations of Latino's across this country. Not you and your children's fancy houses and cars. This is how we must build wealth, by effecting the lives of others beyond your site and reach. YOU MUST AFFECT THE EFFECT!(That is for Freddie Jose, some of the old timers will understand the FJ reference). It will take time, be steadfast.

I have known of pastors who own the church that they attend so they really can’t be taken out because they own the building....

Some of the questions that I am interested in knowing. These in no way are my most important questions but just throwing some out there for someone to hopefully answer. Who is leading? How is this council set up? Is it going to be led by its constitution or will it just have one for legal purposes and led by its statement of faith and give the individual churches some freedom to decide what is or is not important to them(non doctrinal issues)? Did they mention some things that stand out as different from what we know as "normal" practices in the AA?

PTL, I was there at the summit my friend. I attended ALL the conferences and services and will try to answer some of your questions to the best of my abilitites. You asked:
1. "Who is leading? How is this council set up?" NO ONE LEADS, the board of directors ALL have equal vote within the fellowship. The Directors are set up to oversee the internationa fellowship ONLY. Each church that joines IS AUTONOMOUS (by the way autonomuos was strongly Emphasized by the directos through out the summit)."

VERY GOOD QUESTION! There will be BYLAWS and a Statement of Faith to set guidelines for Scriptural doctrine ei: Baptism, Oness, etc. As far as standards and other NON-DOCTRINAL issues that will be decides by the local churches. The board of direcors WILL NOT have any authority to dictate to the local church what they can practice as far as holiness standards and traditions.
3. "Did they mention some things that stand out as different from what we know as "normal" practices in the AA?" YES!!! several thing. First of all after the Conference given by pastor M.Hernandez on Women's Role in the 21st Century Church, it seems like women will be involved not only in ministry in the local churches, but somebody during a meeting threw out the possibility of women serving even in the board of directors also! There will BE NO districts nor bishops, just regions with coordinatoors or directors to facilitate services from the fellowship to the local churches.
There was also talk about a Youth conference or summit in January in California.
Anyway, I will be more than glad to answer any other questions only IF THEY ARE APPROPRIATE. if you ask me any dumb, sarcastic, critical questions I WILL NOT address them. Thanks and God Bless!

I hope those that are starting this "new" organization have learned from what they went through while they were a part of the AA because whether you want to believe it or not, everyone of these people involved in this new organization has at one time or another done exactly the same thing the current GB is doing. It's just that this time, it hit a little too close to home. But, if they can keep their focus on the people and not on positions, power and money, then they may be ok.

Neither, we haven't talked about specifics in depth, however, my understanding is this. If a pastor is found to be in immoral failures or other improprieties, it is up to the local church to attempt to resolve the problem. If they request assistance or mediaion the Fellowship will be there to assist in any problems. But ultimately it will probably be left up to the local congregation to make the final judgement. Keep in mind that the fellowship WILL NOT be bias toward the pastor IF HE IS WRONG. The fellowship will ALWAYS render an equitable counsel based STRICTLY IN SCRIPTURE.

YES!!! The fellowship will try to guard and assist pastors in maintaining accountability, NOT only with the directors but with other pastors. Again if a pastor decides to leave the fellowship because he doesn't agree with certain COUNSEL that is his prerogative.

will they be spent." First of all let me assure you NO CUOTAS nor TITHE OF TITHES!!!!!!! We took a survey were we could chose several options. One was to voluntarily give to the Fellowship. Another if seveal churches join to host a summit, conference, etc. they could incur the costs. Also pick up offerings during these activities. For national and international programs, we haven't crossed that bridge yet.
3. "Local Level Accountability of
Pastor's and who governs the
local churches." Again the governing of churches is left to the local church. If the pastor governs by himself or with a governing board that is up to them. Keep in mind that the Fellowship will always suggest and counsel to the side of integrity, ethics, and morality. Even if it goes against the pastor.
4. "Are local properties going to

church or the personal
property of the pastors?" Listen, it is a fallacy to believe that a non-profit corporation for a church is in the name of the individual. The AA has propagated that lie! All autonomous churches are and will be self-incorporated with a registered name. Even ministries that have the name of the founder have legal restrictions when it comes to owning property and assets.
5. "Will members of the local
churches have any type of
voice?" That is up to the local church. However the pastor has set up his church is up to them. However, the Fellowship will STRONGLY suggest to give local members a voice.
6. "Will there be an accountability
of tithes and offerings?" Again, because each local church is its own corporations, they have to be accountable for their funds. The Fellowship has no legal right to audit anybody's books except its own.
"Will they ever teach the responsabilities of the tithe and put them to work in the purpose that they are to be used for?" YES, this I can assure you I know of a pastor who has powerful, solid Scriptural teaching on this subject. And I hear he will be teaching conferences on this subject.
"Will our non-profit charity ever start acting like a charity?" YESSSS!!!! There is already talk amongst some pastors of starting children's homes, domestic violence shelters, drug rehabs, assitance for the indigent, widows, seniors, etc.
Hope those answer help a little. Please understand that this organization is just born, many details, programs, ideas are still in the air.

My questions are geared to determine what the mechanics (ecclesiology) of this organization will look like. I would hope that before anyone
begins to start a new Association that Scripture is first and foremost (Sola Scriptura). Without scripture as our ultimate and sole authority
all is for nothing. Same thing applies if this new Association isn't totally, solely, completely about Jesus (Solus Christus) as Lord and Savior.
This is not about us building our own kingdom but about raising King Jesus high above all else. One of the biggest problems with the AA, has been
that their ultimate authority is the constitution and not scripture. This we know because even if something is determined to be different in scripture
than it is in their cherished constitution, they will manipulate the scriptures to say what their constitution says. I've seen this over and over. So I pray
that the hearts of the new leaders are right. That before they build their churches they will consult with the Chief Sheppard (Senior Pastor) Jesus.

I also over heard a minister say to one of the plantiff's wife that it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a woman on the board too. He said no other than a woman can understand another woman and I agree. What a joke...I was almost convinced that this new "Summit" was a step in the right direction until I saw Tafoya's name in the line up! Are you kidding me!!! If this new orignization is going to start off with the provisions and blessings of God, they seriously need to reconsider Tafoya's role. The only joke is the old organization. Every other denomination that know of the AA laugh at us because we are one of the few denominations to have the most splits first between the AA and the Mexican AA. There is another pulpit crime. The author of scripture is the Spirit. Our goal in biblical interpretation is always to seek the original intent of the author (The Holy Spirit). Scripture can never be approached with any private interpreation.

It may also teach you why your cross reference between Psalm 22 and the abandonment of Christ on the Cross is a rather dangerous one.

Having been following this blog for some time now, and would like to respond to a few posted comments.
First, to THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The United Pentecostal Church International is a fellowship of pentecostal ministers pastoring local, self-governed congregations which practice the statement of faith adopted by the national fellowship. To believe that a faith-based organization, such as that commencing from the summit in Denver, can successfully conduct the majority of its endeavors without some form of organizational structure is simply a lack of common sense and ignorance of state non-profit statutes. The UPCI, like all other organizations including the Apostolic Assembly, has sustained a number of congregations ceasing affiliation from their respective organizations for whatever given reason(s) that congregation/minister holds to.
I must also say that the United Pentecostal Church International has successfully endeavored to continue spreading the saving Gospel of our Lord Jesus around the world. Its primary purpose of establishment was driven by a "missions" mindset, and thank the Lord, we are sharing with other sister Apostolic faith-based organizations and operations in reaching a lost and dying world. The UPCI, AA, PAW, ALJC, and all other Apostolic fellowships/organizations are only a piece of the puzzle. This who operation is much bigger than any one preacher, any one church, and bigger than any one organization/fellowship. It's all about JESUS CHRIST!
As to wedding bands, some congregations practice the refraining of their usage, others don't. This is contingent upon the standards taught by the local leadership. I would imagine all would agree that no Christian faith-based operation across the globe agrees unanimously on all issues, and this is quite obviously because human beings with a difference of opinions make up the constituency of these organizations, aka the church.
Know that the ministers and congregations of our fellowship are praying for both the Apostolic Assemblies and for those endeavoring to establish this new fellowship. It is our prayer that all will share in the mission of reaching the lost, both home and abroad.

The AA attorney's are correct that the constitution doesn't say that a candidate is not qualified if he does this.
So AA you are winning on this (not ethically but legally you have this one)

They say that the only indication that the 2006 qualifying committee used a weighing system or scoring system in using the CID (25% Capabilities, 25% Qualities, 25% Rights) was in a letter written by "pastor" Art Tofoya. The AA attorney's improperly lead the Appeals court to believe that he was not privy to be at the "bishop's" board meeting as he was not a bishop. This is incorrect, as you all know Art Tofoya was a bishop.
Anyway, I got sickened by this appeal and wish the plaintiff's counsel was better prepared to handle this type of case.
If someone from the plaintiff's side wants a good attorney, i have a few. You need to shore this up otherwise you are going to lose this case for the entire membership of the AA.

GQ1973 you are right the church might sit up to 1000, but the fact is that not even when Bro. Torres was there was it filled to capacity. Not even when there is district services does it fill to capacity. So it wasnt like it was a filled up church and now its empty. According to the Bishop Garcia there is like 60 members left in that church. I know it will grow, it did once and it will again.
Oh, and has anyone wondered what Bro. Torres little sisters where doing at that service there with Bro. Aguilar and Pacheco? What was the point of them being there.

WHEN ONE bishop from a local LA district turn over his position to the other bishop he said the same thing.. i stood quiet just looking at sanchez listening to all this. healthy churches? no growth was so ever? all conversations involve in the apostolic church loosing there clothing styles..So iwas just stunned to hear those words from that bishop.. So sanchez has no credebility just a big salary and no vision.
I heard a little comment that may perhaps be an indication of just how money hungry or hard up for money the gb may be. A Pastor owes the gb $500 and they keep sending him letters like creditors will and now they will not even send him his new ministeral credentials. For five hundred bucks!

Our Pastor told us about a letter he recieved from The GB that states that they are hurting for money.

On the videos posted of Pacheco's recent visit to Midland he interjected into his "sermon" the economic crisis of the nation all except for Midland who's economic status he knew was doing quite well. He added that they should send some to California. He just didn't lose a beat asking for money. Look at all the money they spent just coming to Midland not one but three times. GQ1973 you are right the church might sit up to 1000, but the fact is that not even when Bro. Torres was there was it filled to capacity. Not even when there is district services does it fill to capacity. So it wasnt like it was a filled up church and now its empty. According to the Bishop Garcia there is like 60 members left in that church. I know it will grow, it did once and it will again.
Oh, and has anyone wondered what Bro. Torres little sisters where doing at that service there with Bro. Aguilar and Pacheco? What was the point of them being there.

ROY, since you left the Midland church for a good time ,like the coward that you really are, FYI, the reg services on sunday were close to 3/4 full or sometimes more as we always tried to have visitors to attend and fellowship.
The Bishop Leonardo Garcia never said there was 60 members left. That is you that said it and its false. Oh trust me people, if you have ever been to the Midland Church, you would agree that it is very spacious. Nearly, the entire congregation left and let me tell you that whatever people are left around 25-30, its pretty empty.
Bud, don't worry about Torres sisters being there. What's your interests? You can LIE and say you are not ROY, but how would you know they were there in the first place? Obviously, you were on the platform noticing, right?

I am personally involved with the church in OKC. They had a small little aluminum building that was packed every service. A great group of people there.
They purchased a HUGE building, which I am sure will fit their needs. However, when they began to ask the members of the church if they were in favor of it, many said no, and were accused of having no faith.
This is second hand knowledge, so if I am wrong please let me know... but...
It seemed to me there isnt enough finances coming in to carry the load of such a huge mortgage. When people said that was a concern, they were sat down. It really is quite concerning.

Yes, my in-laws are the Brito's, and here is some interesting info.
Way back int eh day they were Pastors in Madera CA. After the AA offered NO HELP to them, and they were forced to live by far less standards than the board (They actually lived in a small room behind the baptistry, and bathed at family friends houses), they left to move to Santa Cruz. At the time, and I think even still Bro benevidez (spelling) was pastor there. They needed something different so went to the Gilroy church. My father in law is an amazing Soul Winner and had a group of about 15-20 coming with him and his family every service to Gilroy (a hour drive). So he asked to start a church in Santa Cruz. Sorry brother, there already is a church in Santa Cruz. He fought and fought, but they would let him. So due to his persistence they revoked his credentials and asked for his card. "You can have my card, but this ministry as God ordained" was his response. So he went to the Iglesia, and strted a small church which topped out at about 50.
I say all that to say this. Who was the Bishop during this ordeal???????? Bishop Baldemar Rodriguez.
As my fath-in-law cried during the videos of the DGB removing Bishop Baldemar he looked at my wife and I and all over his face you could read "I remember what he did. But it still isnt right what they are doing to him, and more than anything, I forgave him years ago!"
If anyone needs a lesson in forgiveness, call my father-in-law, he'll help you out!

To everyone:
Abundant Living Christian Church which Pastor Abel Torres' pastors in Midland will be having the kick-off opening celebration of their Tenth Yearly Festival starting Friday, October 10th at 511 E. IH 20 next to the I-Hop restaurant at 7:00 p.m and which will continue all day Saturday and close on Sunday, October 12th. There will be live music, lots and lots of good food, games, etc. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy in the festivities.
This festival was Sis. Dahlia Torres idea and we are proud to say that it has been a continued great success each year. God bless her for her hard work in the Lord's work and certainly a special recognition to all the hermanos who give so much and work tirelessly.
Thanks to everyone for their continued prayers for Bro. Torres and his family and his loyal congregation.
IT MAKES SENSE
With many immigrants returning to Mexico and with the economic hard times the nation is going through and also being felt within our churches, the way the new fellowship is being set up is better off. More monies will stay within the local church which should be a greater blessing to everybody.

Having and interim pastor, whose heart will be with his local congregation, and with 25 member in Midland somebody better pray for a passion for souls because if there isn't, guess which church is going to continue to be blessed. Bro. Torres church is already moving full steam ahead while the AA church is still licking its wounds and can't seem to let the dust settle and forget the past.

now read this idea and i hope you get it, cause you still cant get over the fact your AT and company did not win the building, so get off your horse and do actual soul winning. taking members from an already established church does not constitute a healthy church. nor getting members from other surrounding churches (as someone pointed out) constitute a healthy growth spurt. like in any other division the leaders keep the ignorant in the dark until it is too late to win then they take the role of a martyr to take the gullible with them(they are actually very smart to do that, cause then, the ignorant followers that had no idea what was going on will follow because it will seem as an injustice)
that is not to say that some things were not unjust, i am just saying ignorant people will always follow without even knowing. and it becomes even easier to encite a crowd that "thinks" they are right.
if there was 25, 30, 35, 40, ....it does not matter how many were left, what matters is what they do now, after the fact the the majority "left" what they worked so hard under a different leader for so many years. and then worked with AT for a few more.
the Torres family worked very hard, but not the whole family worked all those years in Midland.
So for you young writers from Midland, don't take ALL the years Bishop Valentin Torres worked alone with help of other Brothers other than his own son and give all the credit to AT as if he had been there all the time.
And yes the Torres family has every right to attend the Midland Apostolic Assembly just as anyone else. Their DAD and MOM gave all their strength and time to Midland and the surrounding churches in our District.
Let's see gq most of your stuff is unintelligible but as for you saying about AT as you call Pastor Torres he has been here the past fourteen years and it was under his leadership that the great big church (at which all you Odessans sat in the other day) was built. Plus Pastor Torres was there in 1966 when only the family was there, until he left to start the church in Andrews when he was only nineteen years old. How many churches have you started? Little Omar?

Well said!!! What surprises me is that they continue with the lawsuit after forming their new organization. Supposedly, for the Plantiffs the majority of their congergation followed them (For the exception of Art Tafoya's congrgation). At the summitt they claim there was a good number of Pastors from the AA that attended. (Hopefully APWC was one of them) It seems to me that now they have the Upperhand so why not withdraw their lawsuit so that no more shame is being brought to the church. The GB is exposed, they have provided a new home for whoever wants to go with them they no longer have the financial burdens of the AA (That in itself should allow their churches to give them a raise).
What this tells me is that the AA still has a stronghold on them. Abel Torres is still bitter and his only desire to see the AA collapse. This tells me that the plantiffs are not only hurt but have become bitter through this whole process. Before they can lead they need to rid themselves of bitterness.
Onguard attitude reflects leadership. So any bad habits this new organization might have they have learned it from their wonderful leaders in the AA.
Either way the organization has always had this much shame and other organizations talk about the structure you all just could not see it when it was all up in your face.

I know Bro. A. Torres. He is not a bitter man. A bitter man cannot guide a single person unto righteousness, much less the congregation that left with him. I would suppose that those who left as well as with the other congregations, did not go blindly. Nor do I believe that they were deceived to leave. To much is out in the open for everybody. For a number of years the AA was on the bubble and it finally exploded.
It just so happened that the present MD and the excomunicaes were the ones to make it happen.

I am bothered with people who cannot SEE what has come to pass with the conception of the sin in the entire ordeal, that is the SCANDAL. I, personally don't care if Odessa or Midland have fought, continue to fight amongst each other, or whatever. If you continue being a participant of the AA under the corrupted GB, I cannot give you judgement other than tell you that to OPEN your eyes to everything around you concerning the GB as a once was member of the AA. Hey, do what you got to do and continue on , in peace, for real!! There is no way you can be right in your posts concerning people who express their emotions on the AA and the GB.
You know good as well that EVERYONE'S churches has problems whether they are in the AA, Trinity, UPC, Non-demonination, new organizations,whatever. Your church is no better than the new organized, vice-versa, ya know?
ITs not going to gain anyone anything by bashing someone else's church,pastor,leaders,singers,etc. What do you do? What do you get? A golden certification stating yuou are better, WE are better? NOTHING!! Its' all FILTHY RAGS before The LORD.
I have been down about all of this and have been contemplating leaving to a non-denominational church. I do not care what anyone says as far as I am concerned. Their is not one person that is worthy to judge me, as well as others on this blog. ONLY GOD can judge me. I am at HIS mercy. Trust me, I know who my GOD is, and no outfit can keep me from HIM.
It has been an experience with the Apostolic church for years, good and bad times. I believe it it will ALWAYS be that way as it will balance all out. My advice? Everyone needs to take a self-check, and withhold from fighting with each other, let the skeletons DIE, don't look back, search for a resolution in all things as far as what has and will continue to transpire in the AA and new organization, Don't have the ELTE-CLUB spirit of "We are better". GOD will shut you up in a heart beat, with whomever side you are with.
AS for me, I am on GOD'S side.

I just heard some great news! There are some visitors visiting from Odessa,Tx at Pastor Torres meeting place and have requested for Pastor Torres to start a mission there. See people the Lord is even openning doors for you folks in Odessa too! The word of God has to be taken to all the world. It is hard for a few churches to do it all. Wow!! Lets say that the Plantiffs were wrong about the elections, and what thy did.
Does that make it ok for the dgb to start refinancing churches that hermanos have worked hard to pay off.

Richard Maffey is not in critical condition. He is fine and ministered in Glenwood Springs, Co. last night.

Our hermanos are gone! As I sat in church on Sunday I wondered what everyone else was thinking as we sat there, a fraction of what just weeks ago was a church bustling with lots and lots of our brothers and sisters, happy and hardworking members. Only a few children remain, the same with the youth. I could see the unhappiness on some brothers and sisters faces in a fleeting glance and it tore at my heart. What happened, dear God? Then I thought about our hermanos who are now gone and my heart was heavy.
As I thought of the different reasons why some of us stayed behind all of sudden it wasn’t important at all and I cried for us all. At once I was angry with the general board who caused this and then I finally understood and knew that what some of us wouldn’t believe was really true. The day that they came I listened and tried to understand and it was then that my eyes started to open and I saw and felt the deceit. Oh sure the Bro. Pacheco was suave and did some yelling and a few brothers jumped up, but mostly the other one, Aguilar was the one backing him up. Yet, I felt nothing but a growing ache in my heart. And as I looked around and saw all the hermanos, most of them from Odessa I was puzzled as to why they were here, you see, they never came before. So, why were they here?
So now we are left alone and we cannot even enjoy our big beautiful church because we wonder how we’ll be able to pay for everything. One thing Pacheco did assure us of is that we should not expect to turn to them for financial help with the church payment whatsoever, we were on our own. And Roy Almendarez who came around to our houses adding to all the confusion, how sad that some listened to all his lies, how sad that people like him will do what he did.
No one here seems to know what to do, everyone has a different idea on what we should do. I think we are learning that there’s much more to running a church than we thought. But most of all we miss Pastor Torres and all our hermanos.
My message to the general board members: LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE DONE - you have divided a beautiful hardworking united congregation because of your egotistical ways. You have wronged so many of us but somehow God willing we will survive in spite of what you have done to us all. And you know what? We are counting more on the prayers and love of the hermanos who left with Pastor Torres because we know in our hearts that they care. May God bless them, for they were the braves ones and I know they'll be fine.

You post hit close to home because at my church (1st San Bernardino) there was a few brothers and sisters who stayed behind, many of which had a personal friendship and love (or at least claimed to have) for Bro Baldemar. Some of them stayed for ambitious reasons. This brother wanted to be the new Pastor.(they can deny it but it is obvious) Others, who knows. It was like your church, a small number.
So why did they stay? Why did they stay among the corruption and deceit? God only knows, and God will BLESS them.

for anybody who was there at abel aguilar's last night's preaching (national missions conference) which featured john archovio, can you confirm a prophetic decree? It consisted about the days of the gb being over by january, 2009. the prophetic utterance consisted of three things happening to them.
we also heard that it was dvd and that after the service the saints went to go buy it. i heard that this was the same brother who prophesied about the elections in 2006 but martin del campo did not allow this dvd to be sold at his azusa event in the l.a. district.
please confirm this prophecy somebody who went to this event!

I'm sure the Hnos. are waiting for all of you to return and are waiting for you. If there is no passion to evangelize and work for the church there is going to be problems especially when you all know that Bro. Torres church is being blessed. Let's see gq most of your stuff is unintelligible but as for you saying about AT as you call Pastor Torres he has been here the past fourteen years and it was under his leadership that the great big church(building, you are the church) (at which all you Odessans sat in the other day) was built. I've been following this blog for a while and I would like to ask some questions.
First, please let me say that in regards to the Election of 2006 and the events after it, I beleive that both parties involved could have handled the issue better, but never the less here we are.
As far as the questions, I would like to ask the following:
1) What has happened to the "RFJ", what has happened to its leader "Sckotty" we do not hear from him as much on this blogg, Why is that.
2) What are the plans of the "RFJ" that will help usher in change in the AA. We are not seeing a mass exodus of pastors or churches leaving the AA
3) Other than the plantiffs, one ex-bishop, one rebel pastor that has left, what real change has actually come to the AA
4) What are the plans of the "RFJ" if the plaintiffs lose their appeal, how will you bring change.
5) The origianl purpose of this blogg was to speak about the election of 06, with the different topics that are now found on this blogg, do you all feel that you might have lost "FOCUS" on the real issue.
You may comment is you wish, but I believe they are vaild questions.
On another note, the blogger "thought for the day" who claims to be an 80 something year old pastor, I do not find him credable in who he claims to be for the following reasons:
1)For a pastor, who knows that we will be judged for our words, of all the people on this blogg, he is the one that pushes most of the hate and accusations towards the GB and many others.
2) For a pastor, he does not seem to show any remorse in who he hurts with the words that he types on this blogg.
3) For a pastor a "man of God" a "representative of the Lord" his words do not build-up or edify but they bring-down, cause hatered and distrust and confusion
4) He claims to be a pastor, and clearly does not agree with the AA or the GB, but yet he does not leave, is it because his words are empty and not true or is it because he cant back up his words with actions, yet he calls on the pastors to leave the AA, as a pastor "leader" should'nt he lead by example.
My brotehrs, wheather you agree or disagree with whats happened, we must remember that the LORDS WILL, will come to pass in the AA with us or with-out us.
My brotehrs, I would encourage you all to not look at man, but keep your sight on Jesus, after all its about Jesus and not an organization or a man holding a position,let GOD deal with man.
Brothers keep the faith, love your brother as your self, becasue our redemption draws nigh.
