Have you not seen the Rodney King Video? It doesn't matter what the video shows, they were found not guilty.
Do you realize that a very well respected group of pastors just tried to sue our Beloved Assembly and ended up losing their churches. You think our leaders are going to listen to a few foul mouthed, name calling, disrespectful noobs? I think not! You must realize one thing; the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus, Inc.(Texas and California) has the legal system behind them.
You can't fight City Hall. I am surprised they sued. I am surprised that some of these pastors are apologizing. "I'm sorry for pointing out how the AA and its constituents were defrauded from a fair election, can I have my church back"? But I do understand why they are apologizing: It is their livelihood at stake. That is very unfortunate because most of these pastors have nothing else to fall back on.
I did read Sister Rita Solomon's letter over on AA.info. She is very well respected, intelligent and well spoken. She articulated very well her feelings and emotions through her ordeal. The anxiety, the unknowing, the embarrassment, the humiliation, the frustration of trying to do what was right and being told you where wrong, the lack of clarity as to what the future holds, being called rebellious. As Bill Clinton said, "I feel your pain".
Now you know what countless other pastors wives, who where excommunicated and removed while your husband was on the General Board and stood their and said nothing, feels like. Welcome to the real world. And I do say that with the utmost respect and admiration for you and your husband's ministry...but it had to be said. This type of politics has been bred in our Assembly, many generations have been through this. You held the reigns and did nothing to change this, not only did you do nothing to change this, you fostered this corruption. You lived high of the hog and now the hog has turned and kicked you out of the pen.
You are free now, there is no need to come back. What are you going to come back to? Its easier to see how dirty things are when your not rolling around in it. Run free and be clean no one can hold property over your head anymore. All the other pastors are held hostage by their properties. John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. The truth is that Jesus did not intend for pastors to be slaves to an organization. An organization that can do what it wants, when it wants to whom in wants in the name of Jesus. Pastor's do not realize that they are held captive because of the structure of the AA. It controls the property therefore holds captive its pastors. I may not be Bible scholar but I don't think this is what God intended. It breeds corruption, pride of the flesh.
Back to the Revolutionaries...
If you want to really affect change, you must change from within. Lose the slang, lose the hostility, put on a tie and a suit and STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED. Speak clearly, assertively and with the peace and kindness of Christ. You must grow into a position of respect and admiration, then...when you hold the reigns, you must not let the power go to your head. You must be a giver, not selfish and look out for future generations of Latino's across this country. Not you and your children's fancy houses and cars. This is how we must build wealth, by effecting the lives of others beyond your site and reach. YOU MUST AFFECT THE EFFECT!(That is for Freddie Jose, some of the old timers will understand the FJ reference). It will take time, be steadfast.

An amazing day it was to get 13 baptized. They are just mad cause we went out with a BANG! Oh, that's right; they don't know what it is to SAVE souls. All they know are the laws of a pharisee, which includes bench warming.
WHAT THEY NEED TO DO, is worry about all the young people that are in the Leyva family that don't want to congregate there with them. They would rather go with Pastor Torres, but forcefully their parents(Leyva's)are making them stay. Its a crying shame that the Leyva's are putting their egos before their kid's salvation. If that continues, in time their kids will get angry and leave the church for good! Then again, I guess that is their mentality but it's going to be in their hands. Why do you think NONE of Marcellino Leyva's kids go to church? Because of his dictatorship attitude.

Another thing Marcelino Leyva said is that he didn't understand why Pastor Torres left! Ay que re-tonto. He has no idea, just doesn't know what's going on.
I think that the traitors (Leyva, Roy Almendarez, and their buds on the gb)just wanted Pastor Torres to stay until they came to remove him so they could try to humiliate him. What total fools going round in circles chasing their tails.
Pastor Torres had his final glorious service with approximately 600 in attendance and thirteen baptisms! What an exit! We are having our service at our new location on Sunday! The hermanos are all already hard at work and also looking for a new place to buy or build. Pastor Torres and his loyal and grateful congregation will go forth with God's will.

Imagine, he left a year or so ago because he wanted to go help elsewhere, Pastor Torres gave him his blessing. He doesn't last there very long because people get tired of him rather quickly. Next he went to Odessa and joined up with the 2nd Church and the minute he sees a little chance he comes slinking back to Midland.
Oh, and he said in church that the late Bro. Valentin B. Torres told him before he died to save the church that's why he was here! What a menso. Sure Bro. V.B. Torres was going to leave that up to him! Too funny.

You asked me on Brother Sepulveda.
I have his biography from his burial program and his daughter Sarita did a very good report on her father's early life.
Brother Sepulveda was the Second Missionary sent to Central America sponsored by La Iglesia de Mexico, during the late 1940-1950s.
The first one sent to Central America as a Missionary from
Mexico was Brother Maclovio Gaxiola. A very distuished people oriented Christian man. Very intelligent and with wonderful charisma. He was also a song writer.
Then Brother Sepulveda was sent to Central America, sponsored by La Iglesia de Mexico.
The third Supervisor Missionary sent from Mexico to Central America , was Brother Valentin Nieblas.
He remained there even after Brother Sepulveda left and Brother Salazar was sent by the AA.
When others Missionaries were sent to Central America, then Brother Sepulveda was sent to Aregentina and other parts of South America, sponsored by the Apostolic Assembly.
After Brother Sepulveda completed his 5 years in South America he came to the USA, sponsored by several brothers and sisters from the San Diego area.
Brother Sepulveda was sent up north to pastor the church in the Bay Area. Then he went to Pastor in the City of Phoenix, Arizona.
After about 8 years in Phoenix, he came to live in Long Beach with his family in the home of his daugher Sarita Sepulveda.
The Church of Phoenix, continued to send him, to Long Beach where he lived till his last days, the same Pastoral salary he was receiving in Phoenix.
Brother Sepulveda was Vice President of the Gb and also Secretary of Social Assistance for a few years.
He Pastored the last years of his life in South Los Angeles near the City of Huntington Park on Florence avenue.
His wife was a very special woman with a wonderful voice and his daughter Carmencita.
When Brother Salazar was pastor of the church in Russell City, after Brother Celso Moran retired, Our family used to go to do 'seasonal'
laboring jobs, to help our parents for our school clothes.
We worked in the Modesto, Stockton area in the Cherry and the peach and pear crops during the summer season.
My Parents would visit the Churches in the area.
We never were members at Brother Salazar church we would only visit during the summer field work.
Returning to the Riverside., San Berdo area after the summer.

Not caring if the family of the persons being baptized where 'offended" because they walked right out and went not respecting that these young people were given their lives to Christ in obedience to God's word by being baptized.
The Gb and Sanchez walked right our and were later seen eating at Denny's

Reminds me of the 'THREE STOOGES'
As I sit here remebering I question why the AA consist of so many Pharisee's in our times that are hungry for spiritual blood by destroying those that want to serve God and the souls. Instead of lending a hand to those who are hurting as they try to get back up they stomp all over them like a furious bull.
For example here are some of many who called themselves born again christians. The Assistant Pastor in Midland,Tx (Judas) Marci Leyva and ministers Ramon (Raton) Leyva and Roy (Anti-Christ) Almendarez who have destroyed many. I am sure glad they are not God because there wouldn't be anyone going to heaven. I can't understand why they're so quick to judge others while there is so much garbage in their lives. For those they know these pharisee's can agree with me by saying AMEN!. The assistant-pastor's wife would wear pants to work. Do I see this as a big deal? NO! I believe many focus so much on the outside and forget what is in the heart. Afterall, that is not my business everyone is responsible for their soul.
A young lady once was visiting the church in Midland the Lord touch her heart and dhe wanted to give her life to him. (Judas) Leyva on the contrary refused to allow her to be baptized because she was wearing pants. He demanded that she go home and put on a skirt first and then come back and be baptized. Did she come back? NO!! I was there and I witness it. Sounds familiar? "Sanchez Tragedy!"
That is the mentality of those who want to take the place of God. They feel he is not doing a good job therefore they take control by destroying souls and others who have failed. The blood of these souls shall be in their hands. Again, I thank the Lord that he loves us even though we fail him everyday and for never giving up on us.

I just remembered an incident with one of the ministers in Midland Ramon as he asked prayer for the needs. A young lady named Jennifer needed prayer and he called her name but instead of saying Jennifer _____ he said let's pray for JayLo "Jennifer Lopez." That tells you where his mind was at "from the abundance of the heart speaketh thy mouth." To busy watching the ladies that he would avoid preaching when asked by Pastor Torres to preach because he said he wasn't prepared. Why do I see so much resemblence in the GB too!

I heard about that; heard some people worked very hard to not burst out in laughter, but some did anyways. And I think J-Lo also needs Jesus!! Lol-don't be selfish, let's share our salvation.

gq1973: It's good to hear from you bud. It's bad but the church still moves on with a church or at the homes. That's what many of the old timers or saying. When Bro.Valentin Torres and family began the work in this area that's how they started in the homes. I have been hearing good things that are being said by men that have also worked very hard in this area such as Brother Roman Arreola about the Torres family. You know I admire people like that who just go on with their business not minding or criticizing others afterall we serve the same master.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I really appreciate your words toward all of us who are going through this trial.
I want to add that eventhough the betrayal of a few has hurt so many people we will get through this with God's grace.
I want to elaborate and say that what really disappointed so many members was not so much that a few chose not to follow Pastor Torres, it was in the way it was done. Leyva professed all along many times BEFORE THE CHURCH that he was supporting Pastor Torres and talked strongly against the gb! That is what stirred up so many and made them angry that he was truly a "lobo vestido de cordero". As Pastor so graciously and courageously said on Sunday "it will not hurt me, it is your right to make your own decision, I am not asking anyone to follow me". We just didn't expect for the Assistant Pastor MARCELINO LEYVA to be such a cowardly power hungry traitor and to hook up with the likes of ROY ALMENDAREZ. The service was not even over on Sunday and they were already trying to poison the members against Pastor. However the loyal and appreciative members let them have it and told them a few things. They then in turn would call Pastor Torres and tell him what LEYVA and ALMENDAREZ were doing.

On the Guerrero issue there was just too many rumors and I don't know if you can exactly go to the law because of rumors. However I think Pastor did the right thing by removing him from the ministry.
Aay! There you go again. Let's start contacting souls. Can you just imagine if we would use the minutes that we use to bash at each other to tell someone about Christ we could reach the world. Every second souls are dying without hope. Why don't we start using our minutes to let them know Jesus loves them but then how can we if we ourselves don't love each other.

Yes, Brother Rivas was the father of Brother Felipe Rivas that passed away to be with the Lord.
Yes, he was from Culver City.
The Rivas are a very large and wonderful family. Brother Jose Ortega's wife, Esther was sister to Brother Rivas, the Iglesia de Mexico's first President.
The rest of the Rivas family live in the Tijuana area. Very fine and good Christians.
One of the younger sons of Brother Rivas, named David lives in Tijuana with his wife and children and Brother David is a well known Attorney @ Law in Tijuana.
The Rivas are first cousins of Brother Jose Ortega's children.

building fund.....
Lies are lies and the past history I have been telling you about the AA are NOT lies.

Ok, i've been reading these blogs for many, many months now and have finally decided to post my own thoughts and comments. As I've read through the thousands of comments, i've seen many, many, expressions of hurt, disappointment, anger, resentment as well as a lot of denial of the reality of the situation. There are people who want to turn a blind eye to the reality of the situtation. And i'm not only talking about the elections, but also with placing incompetent people in pastorships, having pedophiles and spouse abusers in ministry and leadership and we wonder why PEOPLE want nothing to do with God or the church!! But, OH, as long as they pay their tithes, wear the veil, and their skirts and their hair are to the floor, and they have the long sleeves and button their shirts to the top cause God forbid that anyone see any flesh at all, OMG...and as long as they go to church 25 times a week while their own families are falling apart, then it's all ok. It's all for the work of GOD anyway, right??!!! It's all a big joke. It's like the worse the crime you commit, the higher the position they give you.
Believe me, I know how it is. I was a member of the assembly for 18 years. I spent the majority of that time in the NM District in Albuquerque. I was a member of the 4th church and the 1st Church. But in 2004, God opened my eyes and took off the blinders and i realized how bound I was by the religious and legalistic mindset. Believe me, I was one of those "apostolicos de hueso colorado". I lived and WOULD HAVE died by the apostolic assembly. But thank the Lord he set me free and my family left the assembly!! There is too much history to write here so if anyone wants more info feel free to ask for my email address.
Those of you who have expressed anger, disappointment and hurt towards the GB and the assembly have every right to feel the way you do because we were all lead to believe and trust in our leaders and not question their intentions....for what??....only to be disappointed.
To all of you who think you have the right to judge and point the finger at those who have taken a stand for justice, just remember there are three pointing right back at ya and you know you have your own skeletons in your closet so in order not to bring attention to those "skeletons", you have to find someone else to put the attention on or to blame or judge. You don't want people to find out that you're really one of the Flor Azulers, right!!!!??? It will all come to light, whatever your skeleton is, eventually. Remember, no one is perfect and every single person on this blog has their issues to deal with so unless you've walked on water or raised the dead...you need to back off and take a good long look in the mirror.
For everyone who has taken a stand, good for you. Don't waiver....don't back down under the pressure. It's about time someone has been courageous enough to do so and to ask those tough questions everyone has been so afraid to ask for decades. Standing up for justice will come with a price, but in the end, justice will prevail. People can only hide behind their pulpits, their power, positions and money for so long. When it's all stripped way, what is it that is really left.
I do have one question before I go - for all of you "moles", "snitches" and GB informants, how much money did they pay you to?

THE DORCAS HAVE A 'NATION WIDE COMPETIONG' TO GIVE A 'SMALL METAL 'TROPY FOR THE DISTRICT THAT
'WORKED AND TOILED' THE MOST.
I do not say that the Missionaries should not be taken care off. Iam saying that there is definately a discrepancy of where this money REALLY goes too.
Georgina, Santa and Francisa etc., MY DEAR SISTER DO NOT MAKE 'ONE PROJECT' THEY ONLY DELAGATE AND THE GB GETS THE CONTRIBUTIONS.
The Dorcas from our District worked endlessly for money to be given to the "Flor Azul Project" because the Gb tells them it is for "Missionaries in other countries."
Ask the Missionaries families and see if they are not the ones providing more money for their families in the Mission Field than what the Missionareies get from the Flor azul Dorcas Project, in the foreign countries.
This is why Iam the voice for the other Pastors who I do not blame them one bit for not "standing up and having a voice.'
If the Gb did this to Bishop Baldemar, Bishop Salomon and Bishop Torres,
without even a "trial before the Ministerial"
body can you imagine what they will do to any Dorca, or Varon or MOP who "dares to question the "Fraud of the Monies"..

How many of you remember having a service that was TRULY people,TRULY a move of GOD??? When was the last time you walked in to service and was looking for a solution or answer to everything that was inside of you?
We had a service like that not too long ago when you didn't worry about announcements,special songs,etc during service. It was when it was straight up PRAISE & WORSHIP during the service that you felt the move of GOD because there was liberty of the spirit.
With that said, as always there are always bad apples in the church who don't want anything "out of order",if you will. Ramon Leyva,spoke and said their needs to be discipline in the church right afet there was a move of God. What does that tell you about them? They are not and will never be ready for that level of exploration to GOD'S movement and supernatural power in the church. This can easily apply to anyone,of course.
Talk about bringing the house down when he said that. HJe basically "quenched the spirit". How sad!!
Believe you me, I and everyone else are moving forward bigtime and will not look back at what could have been junk. Its a NEW TIME and NEW refreshing of the NEW church body. I love all of you, and wish you all what you know DEEP in your soul is right- JESUS!!

Did you notice Brother Antonio, he is very wise, he knows who Iam and he also knows alot more than I do.
Mostly what I know is about "elections, how they evolved and also on Bishops and Pastor, as far as "establishing" the Church.
The Gb, if they even care could be angry because I know and say that to receive "double salaries" from
Church and from the Gb, is a sin.
A sin because of how the economy is now people losing their homes.
The gas crises and the hardship that it on parents to pay their mortages and rent and also keep up with savings toward their children's education.
Many of them do not even know how to do this. And many have "extended families" living all "piled Up' in one bedroom apartment. Especailly the first time immigrant.
And how difficult it is for the "newly wed couple to maintain their apartment and also the other daily needs.
Iam ujpset, because if these Gb were truly Men of God and were "looking out for the good of the Church they would not exploite us with so much askings of monies in the letters we receive and in the convention with Adam Lopez raising, and raising, and embarrassing the Pastors in front of the "entire" convention audience.
Literally "aqueesing the very last cent we have in our Church fund".
It is expected for the congregation to provide for the Pastor's hotel room and food and air fare or gasoline.
Also for their families. And do not forget the clothes to "match" for our wives and children.
The District Bishop also has to recieve extra allowances from each Church and the Pastor's own expenses.
And then there goes the "good" one the big offer, which according to Sam Valverde will be expected each church to enter in the competion of starting at $10,000.oo in order to receive a "Gold medal" award. I guess they expect us to wear it around "our necks" like they do in the Olympics., but then remember it is a SIN for us to wear any jewelry around our necks.
Not that I would want to do such thing. But what do we do with Gold Medal, the Silver and the Bronze Medal.

Recently several unfounded statements were directed toward my Pastors, Sam & Angie Mascareno. Normally, this type of slander would go ignored, but due to the severity of what was said we both felt it best to reply. I am posting this message on his behalf. After this post neither he nor I will invest any more time into responding on this blog. Any additional questions can be sent directly to me or him. I hope this will but this to rest:
This is Pastor Sam Mascareno. I decided to make this entry after being made aware of the accusations that have been made about me in this blog. First, the following scripture comes to mind: "Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself." Proverbs 26:4 (NIV)
Based on such scripture, I will not even attempt a detailed response to my accusers - My testimony is my defense; those who know me, my ministry and my walk with God do not need an explanation. I have peace in knowing that although my accusers can anonymously slander me now without any apparent repercussion, they will one day give a public account to the Lord and will be weighed in His balance.
I am all for a place (blog) for people to vent, share frustrations and hopefully suggest solutions to our Assembly's issues... But when this site becomes a tool for hurtful people to slander and libel someone, without any proof or good motive, then you are at risk of becoming an accomplice to their vile actions if you take them as fact. This sort of false and vicious attacks, especially upon a Pastor, can cause great spiritual harm to God's people; I hope you are wise enough to not want any part of that. Some of these folks accurately fit the description given in 2 Tim. 3:5 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (KJV)
My sincere intent is to advice every casual reader and blogger to be careful in not taking as fact everything that is posted here. Something in your spirit has to tell you when a post (or blogger) has gone too far; reading false accusations, as well as some of the garbage posted here, is not edifying to our walk with God. I strongly believe that most of our AA Pastors are sincere. And also people like you.
I tell you that all we went through only made us strong to see we are not serving man or individuals but the Lord God of Hosts.

I happened to have lived this experiences and Iam not "happy that it has caused you so much discomfort.
But the fact that it makes you so
extreme angry is because this
things hurt, and hurt alot.
Can you just imagine for one moment
if you had lived in the 30th, 40th., 50th., 60th., 70th.,80th of the History of the AA. and seen all these things that people went through.
One sister,long time ago, around the 1960th., long gone with the Lord, who had been baptized and
filled with the Holy Spirit, went with friends to the "Movies".
It was an old "Classic" Gone with the Wind."
Some deacon saw her coming out of the Picture Show house, and told the Pastor.
On Sunday, during Sunday School this young sister, about 19 was told to stand in front of the
congregation and the whole congreagation heard and witness the humilation to this young girl.
She was told, she was there and now
total and completely excommunicated from the Church and never to "set one foot in that Church..
Years later I found out this young lady had be driven to things "far worse, not valuing her life.
This young lady became a "cronic" alcoholic and died prematurely at the age of about 40.
Another case I witness was.
We were all going to a district service and I was about 15 years old and the Pastor during that time ,now gone with the Lord.
Notice that one of the girls that was in the "group' was wearing, "clear Nail" polish. This young girl was baptized in the Name of Jeus. What happened? The Pastor told her to go home that she could not go with us, the group that was going to the District service.
Another young girl a different time from the Church of San Bernardino, near here,, where the older Brother Aguilar, gone with the Lord,was the Pastor.
In his congeagation was a beautiful young girl, who had been "sextually assaulted", I do not remember names, because I was very young.
When the Youth Choir of that Church
sang. The young ladies wore "tunicas" "robes".
This young beautiful girl could not wear a White veil when she came to church or sang in the choir. She had to wear a pink veil. Because in those days "wearing" white veils for the young ladies, explained, their virginity.
If they dared to wear any other color, especially black, they were "considered" a sign of no virginity.
These are the things that the youth went through. And now we hear of other things that are so much worse,that is going on in the AA like
"Election Fraud" things that are very wrong as far as the Apostolic Doctrine is concerned.
This and much much more I saw and
lived.
Many, and I mean many persons have left the AA for so much legalism.
Now this is only for you to Praise God you do not live in those years of so much strictness.
The Services were wonderful, the fellowship between the Brethren was great. We loved and still love each other, when we see all the "old timers' and those younger that have left the AA, AT FUNERALS.

The things the AA has gone"through and it has Prevailed through God's Grace.
The Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus Incorporated and its churches and assets belong solely to the Ministerial Body and to its members. Not to the Gb.
That is Why in La Iglesia de Mexico, the President and the Gb can only "run for one term" of Four Years. So they do not "monopolize" the Church.

But he failed in the four years I saw him pastor. Not be able to notice that HIS son had no interest in doncellas. I never saw him with one. He was to busy holding the microphone.

There is so much history which should be told or written and not just about the leaders or just about the Lord's work in California. There is the pioneers in each district of hermanos who worked hard and built from the ground up (the tamale churches). Ministers who started churches with their families only and worked their fingers to the bone without helped from anyone, forget from headquarters.
And what about the church in Mexico who literally suffered persecution of the worst kind in the old times.
And the missionaries of old. Or the present ones who don't even seem to get the faithfully given money that is raised by the Flor Azul committee.

the Natioanl City Church that had been "sponsored" by Brother Sam.,
I did not know what it was about.
I only heard that everyone was invited for a service. I went and was surprised.
I will not go any further because my 'blogs' are very long.
Since Iam doing for years a study on the "History of the Aposotlic Assembly of the Faith In Christ Jesus Incorporated, AA.,,especially how it has evolved.
What I lived, saw and experienced.
With the Gb doing " Election Fraud," with court trials, which are against the word of God.
How can not the rest of the membership be in the "confused mental and spiritual state that it is in.
But the question is? What has caused this to evolve to this horrific state? Of Brother taking Brother to Court and when and where did "Election Fraud start?
Of everyone "LOSING RESPECT" woward everyone.
If the Gb and Ministerial body have no "respect for each other. How can we expect to "project respoect and love" to the new convert, or the people we invite to church.
Especially with SO MANY Cell Groups evolving?
No body cares to find out the "source"
Where did the problems with the "Flors" as they call themselves in the Blogs come from in the AA? What was the SOURCE?
Where did it come from and why?
I knolw exactly from where and who started it all in the AA.
If these people had gone to a "Church in lets say "Bakersfield", or here in Riverside, or in Fresno, we would have been just as "upset" with the "TOTAL Denial" that these people project toward what happned in the 1980- until now with the Youth.
I had "no idea, nor any one else, expect the truth came out in the "blogs' about their "code word" being "Flor Azjulers..
Can you imagine how sinful this is having "adopted the Logo, name that Sister Maria Fraijo gave to the "Dorcas" Committe.

It is a sin that they "speak in "riddles" to each other with this "Code Word".
Does any one care? No we are too worried about "Fraud Election", about Divisions in the Church, about "hating our brothers and sister in the Church while the "So called "Flors" fraternity" Group get more and more youth into their

collecting for "THE FOREVER BUILDING FUND" that never needs, and collecting "thousdands of dollars, emptying our Church Funds, at the conventions, by Brother Adan Lopez, their father.
We can quote "scripture" all night and day. Sure we know the BIBle from Genesis =Revelation.
But is the GB and the Ministerial Body and the members putting it to cause?
When we have had so much hurt in our church with precious young men dying of an epidemic that hit the AA in the mid 1980"s, and then these people that were "extremly involved in this victimizing of young beautiful men. Get away with it, beause of "the families they belonged too."Top Brass" and what they do for the Gb, collect their "Mega offerings".
Pastors from my era who have no "voice, or Vote", are being afraid of being "lynched, like our other Brethren.
Being old person in the AA, and having tried to "expose it when Bishop Jost Ortega was alive.
Expose it only because its very wrong to permikt this to be "shooved over the RUG,' put of "HEADS under the ground like the "OSTRICH"
distroy our Youth, and everyone to be "TOTAL Denial. The Parents that "sacrifice" so much to raise their children in a Christian enviornment, and keep out the "gang, drug, enviornment" and InSide the AA what is going on.

Why the parents of these young men that "died' in the AA never "Started a ministry on rehabilitation and "Intenvention" toward what they call in the "blogs" The Flors., I do not know?
I remember when a television
Host with a special Program, Named
"Art Linkletter" and his beautiful young daughter had done away with her life because of "drugs"..Mr. Linkletter dedicated the "rest of His life" to "counsel, intervention and support groups throughout the country to "help youths in addiction.
Maybe it did not help as much as he wished he could of helped.
But even if he "saved" two he saved someone.
But true this man, Mr Linkletter, was of Jewish Descent and they are "very dedicaated to a "cause" they iniciate.
This is what I am trying to say.
If you invited these people over, then you knowning very well their "back ground" everyone that know about this thought. "Dime con quien andas y te dire quien eres.
We have freedom of Speech in this Country. You speak what you think is "right". I speak what I think is "right" and safe for our AA Juniors and Youth.
I have already done it "openly" in the 1980;s and they Gb committe told me I was "over re-acting."
So if these blogs are to give out the "alarm" as others have of having been "abused" at youth camps.
Believe many people especially the parents of those that died in the
1980's could be asked to be "witnesses."
Again I apologise to you from the bottom of my heart, as far as your friendship with those people.
I will continue to "fight" for these youngesters, that many that are no longer Juniors or MOP can remember what "they were suffering" with no one to help them.
I know one individual in particular, who never came out of that "CITY"where they live,
that man was victimized as a younger person. He "GOT" MARRIED had children, and 20 years later told his wife he wanted out.

Let me tell you just another "bit of historical discipline that was practiced in the churches..
In one particular case. Prabably in the mid 50th., the daugther of the Pastor, who was 'a little on the wild side" was in church in the , "Youth Choir section" , and she was "talking" in church with another young girl, one of her peers.
Well the Pastor looked over to the youth Session and in "front of the whole congregation" summoned the 'Other young girl", not his
daughter to come to the front altar and to kneel and "she had to remain kneeling for the rest of the serivice, which was about 2 hours...
this was cruel cruel abuse!!!.
The young girl's parents were there in the congreation.
But no way were they going to "defend their daughter" and be
exposed or excommunication from the Church...
That Pastor. had that much "Cult Control."
That cannot be done today, because of "Child protective services" any member in the congregation can call anonymous, tol "Child Protect Services, and POOR PASTOR AND POOR PARENTS.
But remember ,that Pastor was "God's annointed" , as the Gb is now doing these atrocities with money "collecting" . This is also "Abuse".
We must "open our eyes" and see that "that forever "Building fund" never will go away. Nor the "collecting of money" in the conventions for '.
MISALLENOUS'

It seems to me, that was cruelty..

Hey ROY and LEYVA, who's the new pastor in charge of the Midland church. Either one of you?
We had approximately 300 people present at our new location. Lots of visitors, too. Our final service at the church was great with 13 baptisms, and the first one at our new location was outstanding. The Lord blesses us everywhere! We left with only the pulpit, we didn't need anything else. It was wonderful to see Pastor Torres in such great spirits continuing with the Lord's work.
Voice of Triumph is all your hearing from the large group that loosen itself from bondage from the AA as they follow their great leader Pastor Abel Torres. According to the fellowship they had after their service the person who was in charge of the dinner said she counted close to 400 plates. WOW! I wonder if there was a least one that stayed behind at the church where they threw Pastor Torres out. I heard the assistant who betrayed Pastor Torres was pretty disappointed after he heard the words from the Bishop " I will be the one in charged here."

Indeed, it was a good day for the church of Midland with Pastor torres at the front to guide us. We really had a good turnout of folks including visitors. You can tell the brothers&sisters in the church came in with the right minds to contribute to the church. Everyone was labor-helpful, men working on setups for chairs,music EQ,women with the Awesome food that they are blessed to make, greeting everyone,etc. God was Merciful yet Loving to us. No looking back, as everyone is excited about future possibilities with the church. Thanks for everyone who really does pray for NOT only us but everyone else who has needs from small to big situations. Love you all.... and want to extend an appreciation to "Thought for the day said... " for your kind words. I hope the Lord holds you close under his protection and Blesses you and your House!

For those of you that do not "read" Spanish.
I wrote a letter is spanish to Pastors. there are many who do not "read English:
These are the points that should be presented at the convention"
1. Consideration should be given to the brethern that are going through economic crises because of the economy, loss of jobs, gasoline crises.This Country is at War.
For the Gb to "release" their salaries, either from the Gb salaries, or from their churches.
2. That no Gbm should be a Pastor, if he desires to be in the Gb.
3. That the Lord said. "I came to serve and not be served"
For the Dorcas, Varones and Pastors, and Gb., to "learn" to serve and not be served.
to work with in their 'own' group.
"Someone in the blogs said,,"That the Members of the GB., and the Dorcas directivas, and Varones are to "delagate" AND "NOT SERVE".
Jesus said"I came to serve and not be to serve."
4. ALERT, ALERT, TO all Pastors, that the Gb does not have the "right to refinance churches" that have already been paid, with each great sacrifices.
Just to remember that as I do remember there were years that the members toiled, with Pastors and congreations to "built" and "pay for those temples,.wE WOULD HAVE SERVICES IN THE STREET, PARKS, RENT PLACES, GO TO THE RIVER FOR BAPTISIUMS.
And now the Gb because of their 'forever need of "money' should not 'allowed to 'refinance', churches and us Pastors and the members, Dorcas, Varones, etc., start to "re-pay again the refinancing again."
5.Reminding the Pastors that we are like "illegal persons in the AA because we do not have "voice and vote' because no matter how they the Gb., moderninzes or alters the constitution, we will never have our "vote count."
6. that if the Gb needs "money, for court, or for salaries, or anything. for each board member to "reliquish'' "ONE OF THEIR their" their 'salaries' the Gb's SALARIES ,or their churches.
7. For those mega, offering, to be 'done in any other manner, and not in the 'main,convention,auditorium ,
but in the in the Ministerial meeting and not front of the whole congregation'
After all it is us Pastors that are 'required to stand up in front of the whole auditorium and 'give and give, and give' So to do this in the "Ministerial Meetings. ,
we "must" not be embarrased in front of the whole membership.

I am glad that when I decided to start a church I had to leave the AA. At first it's tough because you get treated like a rebel. After a while you enjoy the liberty of working without having the AA trying to take your money or property away from you. I believe that the reason that we were able to buy a property within six months of starting the church was because all the diezmos and ofrendas stayed in our church. We have an awesome move of God in every service and souls are being won to the Lord.

Great News!! 95% of the congregation of Midland have followed Pastor Abel Torres and more is heard will follow. Someone stopped by the church of Midland tonight and said they spoke to some of the youth that stayed behind and they said they want out!! They feel instead of going forward they are going backwards.

On another note the GB are demanding that a plant that was taken out of the church of Midland be returned or they will face serious consequences and that is jail time!! That plant cost $9.99 at Walmart.

Imagine, he left a year or so ago because he wanted to go help elsewhere, Pastor Torres gave him his blessing. He doesn't last there very long because people get tired of him rather quickly. Next he went to Odessa and joined up with the 2nd Church and the minute he sees a little chance he comes slinking back to Midland.

I happen to think that all of your chisme is going to do absolutely nothing but help the other chismosos enjoy the gossip.
Another amazing thing that happened at our service yesterday was the offering which was over $600 when at our previous building offerings were mostly in the $400 range. This was just the regular offering without anyone putting any emphasis whatever on it or anything. There were no offers of gold, silver or bronze medals. This shows the spirit that the hermanos were in. They were happy and in a giving mood. We only ask God to keep on blessing us and we thank everyone who has us in their prayers. God bless everyone.

i am not the only one confused here.
I think all who stayed did so for various reasons. Probably the Leyva's stayed because families (some) stick together, others maybe for loyalty to the AA, some probably still don't understand what is really going on and its hard for them to leave their home church. Except for the ones who were not up front and lied and were traitorous I do wish them well. I think they're hurting also as are we eventhough we did have a great service I think we have a long ways to go in the healing process. I for one couldn't help myself and after our service drove by the church and my heart ached for a while. . .

and I question what is on the letters and on the lawsuit that makes it seem as if he did not even tally the votes as it is written by the plaintiffs on the court documents and various letters to the AA.

He is now retired as the Pastor of the Apostolic Church in San Fernando that Victor Prado assumed.

They were great friends in la Iglesia de Mexico Bible institute way back in the 50's.
Bishop Castorena was missionary in Nicaguaa, and in El Salvador, sponsored by the "Iglesia de Mexico.
He is loved by alot of people. The AA did not "take advantage of his great Biblical knowledge and his tremendous background in "Teologia and Church History."

the comments you posted were just backfires from previous comments addressing the Odessa church and Pastor Arreola. or comments pertaining to how the GB have their family members in certain positions or how they cover up for their family members mistakes.
when i started really getting it was when i asked how the 2 votes everyone talks about were known about if a computer tallied the votes, and the qualifying committee was not involved (it is in the court document)

this division is nothing new, it has happenned before, and the assembly has survived. and those that formed their own organization have also prospered, so that tells me that sometimes when we see divisions, that does not mean it is always bad. what is bad is the way Man handles the situation.
yes we are losing a lot of good men and women, but it is not necessarily bad. it could be GOD sending us out to really preach the Gospel to all nations, and if dividing an organization will do the job, than GOD will put us through this, and see us through it(both sides). just remember, the GB members are not immortal, they soon will have their turn, or maybe I will, and won't have to worry about any more politics. but what worries me is that now these men are out of the assembly and their influence could have done more good on the inside than being outside the organization(my opinion)
They did try GQ long before we even got wind of it. See those letters that are written a lot of the language is in past tense. If this happened back in 2006 we would have known about it since that very convention. We did not start finding out about this until way after the fact like some six months and your right so there is a fact. Ask any Californian we can all say the same. I base my decision off how you just have downgraded the Midland church and Bishop Torres. If you wanted them to really make a change you would not be celebrating in their downfall. In many statements you have well proved that.
