a.) 1st San Bernardino church was raped of $1,000.000 cash to steer to Sam Valverde’s church. (I guess the SB church members are not worthy of their own building because The Fountain Church needs to build a mega building)
b.) San Jose Church had a resolution that was drawn up for Corona church altered (forged) to get more loans for Sam Valverde’s church. ($9,770,000 lien on San Jose).
c.) Solano Beach church was raped of their future by allowing Sam Valverde to put another lien on their property. (ALTERED RESOLUTION TO INCREASE TO Millions).
d.) Unauthorized email access was done of a board member's email account, General Secretary Daniel Solomon. It was done at least once by Sam Valverde’s wife, Rachel Contreras Valverde and consequentially many times through the years by Sam Pacheco Valverde.
FOUR CRIMINAL THINGS DONE BY Sam Valverde & company:
1.) Changed and forged name of resolutions designated for another church to The Fountain Church.
2.) Forged and changed amount of agreed resolution from $600k to almost $10,000,000 on at least 2 different churches. That's financial rape!
3.) Illegally took $1,000,000 cash from the San Bernardino church and hermano's for The Fountain Church
4.) Both Sam and Rachel illegally hacked bishop Solomon's email account. Federal & State crime!

You should not be sadden by the comments of @mundo. He has only realized and seen the failures of the AA through comparison. Yes, many of these churhces may be "trinitarian" but they are definietly more Christian than the Apostolic Assembly.
Many of these churches study, teach and follow the word of God more diligently than Pastors and members of the Apostolic Assembly.
People are tired of neopitism, clicks and half put together childrens, womens and music programs. Its not that people are emabarrased to preach the Gospel when it comes to members of the Assembly, but its emabarrased of its leaders how they behave, how disorganized and underprepared they find themselves. They are afraid to be asked, "You go to church here?" Why? Because our leaders have failed to be rich in the word and prepared administratively. So what do they do? They go to other churches (Calvary Chapel, SaddleBack, etc etc) and they realize and begin to see what a "healthy" church looks like. One where the word of God is preached, ministries are provided for all walks of lives, missions to the whole world providing food, medical supplies and water. They actually begin to grow spiritually and realize their full potential under those ministries. Its only then when they see all the wonderful things they have been missing while they were members of the AA.
I have no doubt these other churches or "trinitarian" as you might say, have their own problems but they also exercise church discipline something the AA could learn how to use.
So dont be so quick to judge others when they leave the Apostolic Assembly. Having the Pentecosal Oneness Doctrine should be used as an excuse to present half-hearted service unto our Lord. If we really have the truth and the truth sets people free, then why do we have so much bondage and small minded mentalities in our churches? Ask yourself that question. God Bless you.

AA.....What good is it to have what you claim a " True Doctrine" if you are hoarding all the money for your Mercedes, Cadillac, Private Properties outside of the country, and your 3 story home. Meanwhile 40% of your congregation is on unemployment, have lost their homes. The other 40% are migrant workers who are of low income and have religious beliefs.

What good does a true biblical doctrine do, when you have an unhealthy church?

What good does a healthy church do with a false doctrine?
The Lord revealed to us his Oneness, do we turn our backs on that over things that do not concern us? Everyone here speaks about the earthly implications that are at hand, but what about the spiritual implications? When I speak of doctrine, I speak of our spiritual beliefs. Yes, other organizations believe as we do, but my point was not directed towards people leaving the AA, but towards people leaving the Oneness belief.
Many of you bloggers are beginning to see the truth about the Apostolic Assembly that it is only a 501c3 so called non profit org but it's not the iglesia that Christ is building.
There are other churches very similar to the Apostolic Assembly and Christ is not building them either
The Iglesia that Christ is building does not need to file for any 501c3.
The iglesia that Christ is building God uses men who have learned the gospel of Christ and go and teach and preach the gospel to all to individuals, small groups, large groups and online without worrying about when, where or how the Lord is providing money or things to further the gospel. Sincere men of God will work together to work and help in the building the the true Iglesia of Christ.
p.s. Do not be deceived by any so called 501c3 church/cult and or cult leaders that work to manipulate and control you and your work for the Lord.
I think that is one of the assembly's greatest down falls. Is that everyone is so judgmental. We are forgiving with him whom we wish. The others that we don't like we never forgive. The whole assembly is really to blame for why the church is in the current state that it is in.
1. Members worship men as though they were god's.
2. No body really cares about doing things for God. They only care that there name is highlighted for all to see.
3. The views are a bit out dated.
4. If someone falls from grace everyone disowns them.
5. They will step on who ever just so that their names can be recognized.
6. People are given ministry. Based off how good they can kiss up to the Pastor's and Bishop's.
7. People support those who really don't have a calling they are just attractive to look at.
The list could go on and on and on. I for one came from a family that had a name. Though my friends encouraged me to start preaching and getting involved. I felt it always had to be a calling from God. Not a family lineage. I think if you are really called to be used by God. God will lift you up to do it.
For the longest time I had these questions. Why do people bow down to others? When really it is all about God. God needs to step in not only in the lives of the leaders but, in the lives of members, ministers, Pastors, Bishops and district boards. The whole church does need a real connection with God and not a visual connection but a spiritual connection with God. My opinion take it or leave it that is entirely up to the reader.

General Board then moves to remove and excommunicate Baldemar as pastor and member of AA.

I can appreciate all who defend the “Oneness”. I also believe that it is used to divide the church instead of uniting it. Imagine how many people could be reached and saved if the “Oneness” people would focus their energy on reaching the lost instead of discrediting other non-Apostolic churches (Oneness). I’ve attended both Oness and Trinitarian churches and have been involved in ministry. With strong roots in the aa, I tried to point out the differences while in the Trinitarian churches but could not find many.
I found the following at Trinitarian churches
- All the preaching and teachings are biblical (very much like the Apostolic)
- The members love god, love people and are very genuine.
- They are not so concerned about fashion.
- No one is perfect. Only HE is perfect.
I’ve met so many wonderful people within the aa/Trinitarian. God is using both organizations to reach the lost. I’m surprised when people bash the Trinitarians for not believing in the Oneness. Trinitarians believe in ONE God. Believe that Jesus is the son of God. Believe in the Holy spirit. They believe that all three (God, The Son, and The Holy Spirit) are ONE. Is that Oneness?
Not even Jesus was caught up in bashing “one casting out devils in thy name”. This “one” was not even one of the disciples. The apostles told him to stop because he (the “one”) was not part of their ministry or following Jesus. Many Oneness leaders will do what the apostles did. They will try and discredit those that are not part of the Oneness movement/revelation. They will say….
“For those who do not know, Calvary Chapel is a TRINITARIAN church! How many members have not ran to these non-denominational churches and have forsaken their Pentecostal Oneness doctrine. Calvary, Cornerstone, The Rock, Saddleback, Abundant, etc… all Trinitarian churches (in CA). Yet, we see our beloved brethren flocking to these churches, unknowingly.”
Please look at what Jesus replied to John in Luke 9:50.
Luke 9:50 - And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. 50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.
It is my opinion that if other organizations are teaching the word of God, and they are baptizing in Jesus name (Yes, even if they say “In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; In Jesus Name”) they are following scripture. People are being transformed through Christ in other organizations. All you have to do is hear the testimony of people that were once lost, in bondage, sick, family destroyed. BUT God. Yes the God being preached at a non-aa church delivered them from sin and transformed their lives. “Jesus said forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.”

Sorry I need to copy and paste a previous comment, but it's my own ;). I will repeat:
What can be said of a church organization if the leadership cannot correct issues for fear of someone exposing them about something. If this is the reason why the General Board either refuses or is forced not to make changes then they should step down. The assembly needs a complete overhaul otherwise the demise of an organization is sure to be the case.
The demise of the organization is for certain either with leaders pointing fingers and holding dirt on each other or by the exodus of people that that had enough.
If what a source said is true that Juan Fortino informed both Sam Valverde and his wife that he was going to be removed from his pastorhip and she and Sam both had a 'royal fit' and only after Sam Valverde threatens Fortino about his knowledge of other board members and even of Fortino the General board quickly retracted their decision, this incident alone should be reason enough to pack your bags and head elsewhere, If the GB is not willing to make a change then it's time to leave and stop sending in your 'taxes' to a corrupt church organization.
Bottom line is this. If you or me would have committed the following infractions in the AA as pastors and:
1. Taken $1,000,000.00 that belonged to the 1st San Bernardino Apostolic Church and used them without proper authorized (with resolutions of the Fontana Church or San Bernardino Church), and without the knowledge of the pastor and congregation that raised the funds, nor with the knowledge of the District Bishop or the General Board of Directors.
2. Cross Collateralize with other churches to obtain a loan, incognito and without the General Board’s approval, and without Resolutions from ALL churches involved.
3. Deceived a pastor by telling him the loan I took out, using his property was for $600,000 when in reality the lien I placed on his property was for $9,770,000.00.
4. And I did the above mentioned TWICE!
5. And to top it off, I hacked e-mails (Violation of Federal Laws) of the plaintiffs, during and after a lawsuit, taking advantage of the fact that I knew Bishop Solomon’s password and with the help of others CONTINUED to go into the account reading all the correspondence from all those involved with the lawsuit.
If you or me would have been caught doing just ONE of these infractions, we would have been removed from our pastorship, by Valverde, IN A HEARTBEAT!
And yet he remains. And some of his groupies in this blog have the audacity to play down all this and agree that all these infractions were “Non-Lethal” and part of corporation business!
What about INTEGRITY, HONESTY, ETHICS, RIGHTEOUSNESS, VIRTUE, AND MORAL UPRIGHTNESS IN CHARACTER! What about 1 Timothy 3 where God declared, "A Bishop must be above reproach...temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, NOT A LOVER OF MONEY...He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap."

Someone should investigate Pastor Jorge Rivas from culver city church in L.A District! He has also ripped off many members from his church and used church money for his own gain!
The same investigation should be held on Art Espinoza that under his pastorship and watch over a million dollars is unaccounted for in E Palo Alto, but because he was Daniel Sanchez's family it was kept quiet. You would think the new pastor which is also a board member would have said something by now, but no. the skeletons in the closet continue.
Never thought that 'Skeletons in the closet' could be the eventual demise of a once great church organization. Yes, I realize that mistakes have always been made and perhaps back room deals but never at the 'super-sonic' speed that we see today and the fact that you now have the internet and media that can immediately report a message worldwide it can no longer be hidden.
If you are a member at Fontana 'Fountain of Truth' which by the way should be renamed to 'Mountain of Lies' or 'Fountain of Lies' or perhaps 'Fountain of Blackmail' then you should begin looking for somewhere else to attend because apparently it's ok to remove pastors for wrongs committed but it's ok that Sam Valverde keep his pastorship.
You see, your pastor wanted to be president and for him to give up this easily should question his motives, I think it was to attempt to at least keep the church since he knew he would lose the president position. I predict more will come out and be discovered. It's not over yet.

Unknown - You are correct, but think about this, how long will it take for the members to start figuring out the details and then decide to leave? with less tithers and offerings eventually they will lose the property.
It's all a matter of time. So the GB must ask themselves this question do we act now or do we have a slow bleed? One way or another two great churches are at huge risk of losing their property to the bank. If Sam Valverde stays then the other part of the slow bleed will be the people in the Assembly that will decide to leave, so either it does not look 'pretty'. Only hope they do the right thing and deal with it now instead of long or short term, because misdeeds, lies and a wrong spirit attitude always has an end.
Unknown - I believe you are right again. I proposed that the only way to fix what's going on is that all board members must step down and an election be held to replace their positions. Important that the same men do not run again, at least for a good period of time, otherwise all you have is a form of 'musical chairs' switching positions every four years and the mismanagement continues. But in all reality, I do not see these men turning in their positions. One last point, the prestige that the GB positions once had is no longer. It is not the same.

We need a completely new General Board!!! Made up of decent, humble, and God fearing brothers! Real men after God!!! WE need to remove all church buildings from the assembly's name and give it to the members so that when something like this happens again, they can walk away without losing their building. We also need to get away from appointing family members into the ministry by their fathers when they don't have the calling of God to preach! So let's make this count, and not let this get away from us again, the existing general board members all have trash on each other and some pastors outside the general board, and vice versa! I always wanted to be a Minister but my Pastor Valverde really never allowed me too, I saw my friends and brothers being chosen by Valverde but he never got to me and now my friends and brothers there aren't even serving as Ministers anymore but I am serving the Body of Christ in other ways. Destiny is destiny and GOD will exalt the humble. I have no ill feeling against Valverde as my Pastor and I don't go to Fontana because of Valverde I go there to worship GOD. I also know that there is no such thing as a perfect Church we are all vessels in progress and each of us have different weaknesses, I'm content with what GOD has chosen me to do and regardless of what happens to Valverde my attention is on my Savior JESUS CHRIST

You can fix many of the problems with a simple but hard to accomplish solution: diffusion of power.
This concept known as "federalism" used by our founding fathers was essential to democracy.
Now, I am not saying this is the cure all but the Apostolic Assembly needs to diffuse power between the GB, Pastors and local churches.
One simple way to do this would be to give the local church autonomous power. The ability to self-govern (own properties, select leadership THROUGH elders not membership) through Pastors AND elders of the church would give the Assembly more of a balanced organizational approach and would serve as a check against powerful leaders. This in my mind will not happen in the Apostolic Assembly unless forced to or when at the precipice of destruction.
One of the draw backs of this type of structure would be that "unhealthy" churches with weak leadership would not be able to self govern and thus fail miserably. However if successful the churches could accomplish much more, in my mind, because they would be more "local" church focused instead of national church focused.
Just my two cents.

What exactly would it take to restructure the AA and it's embarassingly put together constitution ?
With the apparent admiration and worship of positions and fear of going against " God's anointed " that exists in The AA, Is reform even possible ?
Or have we seen the beginning of Independant Apostolic Churches and the decline of The AA system of Governance ?

I have always said that surely Organizations and Denominations are not necessary and can cause divison.
However some of us do enjoy the fellowship and comraderie of joint events and sister churches.
I guess we need to respect and enjoy that there are many flavors of churches out there and as long as we are propagating the message of Christ, don't hate just agree to disagree.
The danger is in isolation and elitism.
Someone said in here a while back to not allow ourselves to be so spiritually minded that we end up being no earthly good.

Counselor. I actually agree with what you just said about elitism. It can be a danger. However, I think churches should focus on within and reaching their respective cities.
I think if the AA needs to reform. They should start with the constitution. They need to heavily go in and re-construct a lot of the language.
The reason is that it is very out dated.
So when anyone becomes the leader of that organization they are capable of becoming tyrannical.
The know many of the things they do are wrong and unethical. However, since the constitution has to many holes in it. They violate it all the time.

I also suspect and I do not know with who this began but a while back a change happened where I believe that men in leadership stopped seeking God's will and anointing as to who to chooses as pastors, bishops, deacons and ministers.
They began to appoint family friends and politic against rivals etc...
So you start that trend and are guaranteed that each succesive generation is built on a faulty foundation of appointments ( hook ups ) and no anointing.
Do that long enough and it has to fail miserably.

I would like to see humility in the midst of all this from our leaders. Sin is sin and I guess what bothers me is the lack of sincerity from our leaders. I don't think that this present board is any better because after all were they not in power when the 2006 election and all that mess? One thing I do agree with is that we have allowed them to do this when we start seeing them as gods. I had a pastor's wife tell me a few years ago, "I truly believe that if my husband was to leave this church the church would not know what to do and fall apart." The arrogance of this woman. She looked surprised when I replied, "then you and your husband have not taught the members well. I think your suspicion is valid Counselor. This is another reason why, it would be good to reform the constitution. A few years ago, I once heard it said, directly from Sanchez, "The best of the best where on the board." lol. Well we have seen how the best of the best were really the worst of the worst. After Bro .Baldemar was kicked out of San Bernardino I talked with him and told him that I had perceived for several years that Valverde was up to something because he was really running the Assembly. Valverde was left unchecked unfortunately as Christians we should trust one another but Valverde did take advantage of that trust but as president Baldemar as a leader should have also done his job and should have addressed Valverde's thirst for power because if I saw it coming he should have seen it coming because he knew Valverde for many years more than me and the job of any President is to keep the organization in a healthy state . This is just a "little" indication of the mood of the AA members. And it shows that they are not happy with Valverde.
Sam Valverde use to have over 1,600 twitter followers and I just went back today and he has 951 (I know his people are going to try to pack that with fake accounts to bring the numbers back up)
That tells all of us that over 600 hundred people unfriended him.
No one fears Valverde! He is a pittyful man who has exposed himself for who he REALLY is.
So the numbers on Sam Valverde are clear as of today it went down over 640 people!

Pastor Valverde is not leaving. In fact FTC is going to be just fine. I feel bad that this incident has happened and many have chosen to believe nothing but lies. The word of God says, "My people perish for lack of knowledge." Obviously the facts are far from many on this dumb blog.
Don't worry too much about how we pay our bills at FTC just know that we pay them. I know it's hard for you all to comprehend how business processes work. I now it's hard for you to comprehend that many of us tithe way more than 200.00 a month.
Please there has got to be more to your lives than this dumb stuff. You give Pastor Valverde too much credit. I am sorry you guys put him on such a high pedestal. Please keep your eyes on Christ only because man will fail you. Jesus Christ died for you not Pastor Valverde.
If your really concerned about him, FTC, or any other churches effected pray, try not to be too jealous. if you have a problem with him tell it to God because its His business anyways not yours. Whatever Pastor Valverde does or does not do thats between him and God.

TO FTC member : I too am a member of Fontana. I have known Valverde for 20 years. I knew how he worked at the General offices and I knew that he was behind Germain getting dismissed so that you can control the finances of the Assembly even better. I knew that when Baldemar was literally kicked out of the San Bernardino Church that Valverde gave the orders. The face that our Pastor presents to our local church is not the same one he used to manipulate his way up to power in the Assembly. Several megachurches have gone bankrupt and lost their church building because they got in way over their heads, look them up in google : foreclosed megachurches. A true leader of GOD never quits if he is truly anointed. Do you see Moses quitting ? David ?

Mena, Rangel and now Pacheco ? and all of them even worked with Valverde in the General offices ! Because they knew his true character ! ...Look, I truly feel sorry for what our Pastor has done, I just hope and pray that he sincerely asks Baldemar Rodriguez to forgive him before he passes away. All this mess in the Assembly didn't just happened by itself or in a vacuum , Valverde made it happened because he has ambitions, he signed the papers, he gave the orders and now look at all the mess he leaves behind !

I know that a very few can tithe over 200.00 a month lets get real thats maybe 10% of the congregation the numbers still dont add up, unless a brother or sister at our church wins the CA LOTTO the financial burdens and responsabilities of this church will cause major stress on all of us, were just paying the principal and the property value is never going up anymore the way it was 5 years ago

The culture of the Apostolic Assembly has no morals! Any other religious organization would not have tolerated this type of behavior for one day!! They should have unequivocally and immediately removed him as Pastor! End of story! Period! Friends or no friends!!!
But the AA punishes the good people and reward the bad!
I have friends in my facebook who are from fontana church.. They are simple the process creating a super anointed preacher who is above reproach.. So they wont see that he is a thief a men of deceit arrogant and every sunday they will simply ignore this fact, that if things would have being done correctly he should had stepped down and have gone to jail..HOw will you be able to see him behind the pulpit when he trieds to preach on not stealing and not being pridefull and being right with God when in fact he loves power and money.. Its the blind leading the blind.

Fellow brother/sister from Fontana this website is not "DUMB" what is dumb is what our Pastor did to several of his once closest friends and brothers in the Faith, what is dumb is what he did to finance our 12 million building ! that is now worth half that in a real - real estate appraisal of comparable commercial buildings in the area. In some countries former Presidents can be tried in Court if it is found out later that they did unconstitutional actions while in office. I sincerely do not want Valverde to be put on any trial, Satan must be having a field day, but we cant blame everything on Satan , men sometimes do very "dumb" things because of their flesh : vanity, pride etc.
