I haven't really been keeping up with all the activities for some time as life has continued. I think it would be a good idea and good time to get an update as to that status of the AAFCJ organization. I'd like to compile a list of:
1. Pastors that have left (voluntarily or involuntarily)
2. Churches that have closed
3. Property foreclosed
4. Where have the pastors have left gone to
5. Legal matters
6. Organizational evolvement (other organizations created or organizations that have recieved AAFCJ pastors and their congregations).

I do know from conversations with several pastor's both still involved and those kicked out that there is a strong division among the brethren. Missionaries that are traveling have visited excommunicated pastors incognito although they have been restricted from their fellowship. However, due to the lack of financial assistance from the AAJFC they have no choice but to visit those churches that still are supporting their ministries. However, when they do go it is very deep undercover. It is truly a very sad state of affairs.

Ignorance ("We didn't know any better")

To be saved all you need is faith in God. Prayer is an act of faith. Baptism is an act of faith. To get baptized all a believer needs to do is to have faith, invite at the least one friend or two (the more the merrier) to witness your baptism, go to a body of water such as a pool or big bath tub, go into the pool or tub (you may invite a friend to go into the water with you to help you as you get baptized)ask your friend to pray with you as you call on the Lord saying something like "My God! Any news about what really happened or is really happening in the AA Corona church? John Huizar and Edward Pacheco apparently have managed the church there as a business enterprise, any facts!?

All I have heard is that Pacheco was struggling to complete the new Church Temple that ran close to 8 Million.
And supposedly The AA forced him to take a pay cut from 15 to 10 K a month, which he did't like.
Then as the finances got worse for Corona he was offered a church up North somewhere so as to save face and not be completely removed.
His arrogance could not handle that so he left steaming instead of taking the deal.
Currently The Bishop has taken over the church, however I do not think they can or will rescue the expensive church building.
Guess Pacheco thought he had the brains and money to have a church like his cousin Valverde.....but NOPE !!!!!
Most of your information is correct ROME. But the reason why we couldn't finish the building was not because of the lack of money, but because the city stopped us. According to the city Zoning Department, we never had the required permits to build a church on the land we bought.
The removal of pastor Pacheco was not as big of an impact as everyone says it was. In reality the majority of the congregation remains. So far, bishop Quezada has been in charge and we have had great services and sermons. I understand he is not here to stay, but his job is to restore the congregation mean while a new pastor is assigned.

You never really know how much is truth and what is being exaggerated.
I am glad that the congregation was not impacted so greatly.
Church splits and Organization splits have the potential to hurt so many people.
I know he had family as members I am assuming they followed him ?
By the way, I heard a brother mention that Baldemar Rodriguez suffer a heart attack this past weekend and he is still hospitalized. He mentioned that they don't give him much hope of making it.

ROME, you are correct, most of his family members who were also members of the church left with him, but NOT all. It is interesting to see that the majority of the people that left with him were mainly newly converts, and it was the members with years in our congregation (who had known him for years) that actually decided to stay.
I would have thought otherwise.

Brother Baldemar suffered a massive heart attack last Sunday and they attempted to insert a pacemaker.
His body could not handle the operation and he went into a coma, of which he has still not come out of.
As far as Corona, do you know if his cousin Danny and his Asst Pastor Ben followed him ?
They are both still attending our services, but I heard they are also with him. Seems like they're trying to stick around with both sides.

Well like I said splits are tough, specially if family is involved in the mix.
